I cannot express how exciting it is to see a new scale a ton video pop up. Fantastic builds obviously but thank you specifically for your tips and "how to". I keep fighting decals and I think it's because I use setting solutions too early, thanks for that tip!
Good old $15 Iwata clone! I've been using mine quite a bit lately, mainly because I made the dumb move of buying a compressor that isn't powerful enough for my .5mm 105. Thankfully there's a .3 conversion for it. I've been trying to use that marbling technique on the I-16 I'm doing, but the Iwata clone is the only thing I've been able to achieve it with.
I'd kinda sorta heard about wingnut wings, damn the detail is incredible. I looked on their site at the lancaster.....I'm surprised they didn't actually use hydraulic tubing!! (yes I'm a smart ass) I bet that would be a beauty when finished properly......
What do adult modelers do with all their completed models? When I was a kid, I built a kit every week. I covered every flat surface with them, I played with them, I smashed them, I threw them away. What does an adult, with an adult home do with them?
excellent job on the F D. VII F I have two questions 1 about when did you glue the wings to the struts I didn't see any glue being applied 2 why dis you change the name from Hermann Goring to Bruno Loerzer
I notice that some of your tools appear to be surgical, right down to the red tape identifying which set the Iris scissors came from. Do you use surgical tools professionally in a non-modeling capacity? Or did you find that using surgical grade tools was a better way to model? I really enjoy the final result of weathering. Excellent job!
Thank you! I use them on matte varnished surfaces. I apply another matte coat if necessary. And yes I apply them with brushes, this is why I choice "extra soft" pastels.
As usual a very superbly built model, were all the decals from the kit ? the Black & White stripes & the German Lozenge scheme ?? please tell me, and the price of the kit.
Thank you! I bought my all WnW models before the increase or become OOP. This is a out of the box build model. Please check the WnW web site for more details and box contents. I bought the decals from WnW too. www.wingnutwings.com
Hi Chris, That's why this plane is revolutionary ;) I would suggest you research the history of this plane. It will be fun with key words "the First Wind Tunnel" "the effect of the thickness of the wing on the flight".
fantasy nerd 888, I do not mean to start shit but your knowledge of aircraft seems a little bit, lacking. The Fokker D.7 is actually a world war 1 aircraft.
Muchas calcomanías !!! Nada de trabajo artesano. Esperaba ver cómo se hacía el camo exagonal y era calcomanía. No me gustó, una lastima un avión tan lindo como el Fokker D- VII
she's a drop dead beauty, great work on this kit
From WWI this and the SE5 are my favorite. You've done a superb job, the DVII is a real beauty. Congrats!
The Sopwith Camel is a very pretty plane too. 😚

I'd heard about Wingnuts instructions. They live up to the hype. I like how you list not only paint color but the mix ratios
Beautiful work 👍
Your skills applying decals is incredible. Thanks for showing how
Love it! A true artist
So calm doing the gluing jobs

you have a good patience, and are extremely skilled
Great work..... amazing and clean... you are the best.... greetings from ITALY
Excellent, thanks for the pleasure seeing this work and technics.
Another beautiful piece of history from the master.
Very Nicely done.
I always get excited when I get a notification for one of your new vids. The missus knows not to bother me for a good 20-30 minutes
Absolutely Beautiful, love the Paint scheme .
To bad there will be no more “Wingnut Wings” kits in the future, really bad news on there going out of business ,great company, beautiful kits.
I’m so surprised they are not going gangbusters through COVID. I hope it’s just temporary.
Again, wow....and thanks for the tip about koh i nor pastels!

Klasse gemacht

Give all the fine China dishes to GoodWill and put them in the cabinet.
Brilliant done! And very interesting camo scheme. ;)
Thank you! Bruno Loerzer the crazy man :)
bravo, encore un chef-oeuvre !!!!
Świetna robota ! Gratulacje !

Wasn’t Hermann Goering’s DVII all white? This isn’t his plane.
WELL, I guess the car models will have to go back to the closet, and the bi-planes come out. You got me wanting to build planes again!

Wow ive never seen a wallpapered biplane before!
Outstanding work! 👍👌👏😍
Awesome. Nice paint scheme
superbe !
Excellent work! May I ask you, how do you use those pastels? Just dry brush them? How do you fix it? Just warnish? Thank you.
Thank you! I use them on matte varnished surfaces. I apply another matte coat if necessary. And yes I apply them with brushes, this is why I choice "extra soft" pastels.
Thank you. I´ll give it try. Looks amazing. :)
Is there a part one to this because this video seems to start in the middle of the build?
So Awesome!!
Elinize sağlık. Yine çok güzel bir çalışma.
Simply outstanding build. How the heck do you build so fast to this quality... are you doing it full time?
Yes :)
Wow😭....that's a beuaty. You are a realy insperation to me :)
Awesome work
Do you clean the plastic with alcohol prior to painting?
Do you brush on the glue so you can sand later and hide the seem?

Excelente trabalho! ;)
You really need to get a pair of super sharp Tamiya sprue nippers.
Müthiş! Ellerinize sağlık!
Placing the upper wing gives me nightmares. Love WW1 biplanes too much to quit though.
Can't you just paint this regularly after you build it or something do you need a air brush?
No rigging?
What kind of glue is this that doesn't stick to skin or tape?
It's Tamiya Quick Setting
Thanks....
Amazing build, how long did it take overall?
Thank you! It took three weeks to build
What glue do you use in this?
I use MEK in the Tamiya bottle :)
Mavellous!!!
I'm almost feel sorry because of the level of detail to be covered up. I think that it takes two models to get the whole thing properly done.
Great video! Мay I ask you? what а thread are you using? Advance thanks. Your friend from Russia))
I'm confused, aren't those crosses wrong for WWI, and shouldn't there be more rigging between top and bottom wings?
Hi Chris, That's why this plane is revolutionary ;) I would suggest you research the history of this plane. It will be fun with key words "the First Wind Tunnel" "the effect of the thickness of the wing on the flight".
Greetings my friend! I use EZ Line Fine from Berkshire Junction. Also you can buy it from Jadar Hobby. It's not cheap but I forgot when I bought it :)
Chris the crusaders cross is ww1 not ww2 that's the swastika
fantasy nerd 888, I do not mean to start shit but your knowledge of aircraft seems a little bit, lacking. The Fokker D.7 is actually a world war 1 aircraft.
Pleaseeee! Build a Roland C.II
I don't have that kit :(

I wonder why they did thoew big stripes snd patterns on their planes! isnt that just removing your self from the world?
Like a rock star? Yes, aces were like a rock star in their times.
Well ok obviously wing nuts is gone but nice memory ?
?
