Man, this must be the best, top-notch tube about building a WW1 aircaft. It is simply AMAZING to see all the ideas, tips & tricks of a professional modeller - thnk you sooo much for this video! Oh, and WINGNUT WINGS 1:32 models must be the top-notch best models of these war planes!
I watched a video build of the same plane different scale and manufacturer. You skills went way beyond the other builder. There really is not a wrong way to build a model however, any time you can add in extra details like turn buckles, eyelets and wires, belts or hoses just adds to that detail that let's others know your eye for better detail is what defines a master model builder and it shows here. I cannot just throw a model together now days without showing off my skills and depth of what I can add to a model that others will look at and recognize the person that built that has years of experience and thinks outside the box. Well done!
I may finally tackle my 1/24 scale vacuform model (Black Knight kit) of the Albatros DVa this year. Your video has motivated me to do so, and it has some helpful views of bits I will have to scratch build. The model is very basic with little detail, so the fret work on the bulk heads is frightening , that's what has held me back, but I'm going for it none the less. Thanks for posting this one. Great job!!!
Dont forget people it is important that you mask off where you dont want the ink to be as it does not like primer or any paint on top of it apart from clear gloss
On thinning the paint way down, is there a reason you use IPA and not something like Mr Leveling Thinner? I'm just wondering if there is a unique property to the IPA that makes it better for the ultra-thin mix.
Hi Radu, i build it in 1:48 scale before. I used strecthed qtip tubes and synthetic hair for rigging. s3.photobucket.com/user/akhilleus/media/MVR/1_zps7de7df15.jpg.html
Lol I can't even do this on full scale!!! Kidding! The man is genius! I want to learn more and help me rise from the qaqiumire of shit box models- then again he can take a busted up monogram circa 1970s kit where all parts are off scale and when PE meant gym class and still make it look better than real
I really want to know what glues he uses and how to get that capillary action with a micro dot every few centimeters! AWESOME! I right here and now pledge to invest a few bucks towards my tuition for my modeling fruition and be a patron of the arts!
@@geokeyey1116 i have watched a lot of his videos and he always use tamiya super thin glue , i use it as well and for me it is the best out there , work with it this glue does what it is suppose to do if you build model airplanes use white glue for the clear parts , the models i work with are assembled so i detail them to match a particular prototype i love this glue makes my job a lot easier
Your work is brilliant !... Can you tell me why there is such a difference in price for wing nut models ?... Even though they are the same scale ...thank you !
@@handmethepanda why would you not build them, i dont get it. whats the point of hoarding models you'll never make and depriving them from someone who would actually build it. its very selfish imo
I've heard they shared the same planes sometimes. Especially the Albatros. This is also why it's so difficult to find the exact colors of Lothar's planes. As photo-colorist I had much difficulties to find informations about the red baron's brother
Hello Sir, I wish you would like to talk about how the kit came together. I'm a new modeller and I have no experience none what so ever. If you explained why you did this part this way I might be able to understand how the parts were done. Thank you for time. Sincerely Allan
lol ur on youtube, no need for formalities. just say: hey dude, great model. was wondering how exactly you put the model together, like why you did each part the way you did. cheers!

Fantastic! Nicely done. 👍🏼 I’d like to see the modelling and video efforts of those who gave down thumbs to this!

Rigging is hard under any circumstance, and you made it look easy. Well done!
A stunning build. You've done this before.
Das ist ein großartiges Video, hab mir viele Tipps geholt. Besonders genial wie der Motor gestaltet worden ist 👍👍👍
Simply stunning! I can't imagine rigging a biplane, much less videoing the process. Thanks for the efforts in documenting your build.
Just when I think I’m a rather decent modeler I come across excellence like this. 😮😊 Great work. 👍
That’s a work of ART.
Fantastic job.... Looks great and the wires are perfect!
Fantastic !
I know I'm a little late to the party , but , Superb Job!
Love them !
Jeez!! are you a surgeon!!??….Fantastic detail and what skill!!
Surgeons aren’t that good
The proper tools actually make what he did easier. Invest in a set of high quality tweezers. Thats my first recommendation.

Such incredible work! Master level skills and experience! 🤘
The fuel tank, superb ! Very good.
Harika.
Uzun versiyonlarını tek tek izlemiştim. Bu kısa versiyonu da tekrar izliyorum, her baktığımda ayrı birşey öğretiyor. Ellerinize sağlık.
Man, I thought I saw pretty damn good modellers out there, but this is just JAW-DROPPING!
Every kit you made is a new wonder! So happy to discover a new video! Absolutly fan!!!!!!!!!!!
Love how you detailed the prop. Thanks for sharing, I love learning new stuff.
Thanks for taking the time to make this video. I learned a lot!
amazing - thanks for sharing !!
Those Wingnut kits are a lot of extra work. That plane looks incredible. I bet you could breeze right through a Revell or HobbyCraft WWI airplane kit.
Incredible work! Master level for sure! 🤘

Absolutely stunning work..Always a pleasure to watch your videos,,

Very Impressive Thanks for sharing
Awesome build man!
Great Talent!

EXPECTACULAR
Fantastic
Hi again.
Albatros V is a very fine plane.
Nice tips for the rigging.👍
Hope to be able to replicate that on my 1:48 scale Albatros :-)

Do we know ?! Is the underside of the wings blue or Lozenge ?
Wonderful work as usual, on the workbench as well as the camera. I'm curious, do you anneal those photo-etched parts?
Thank you very much! No i didn't anneal photo etched parts.
I would like to know your source material for the detailing of all the components.cockpit/engine

They are works of art, amazing detail. You do pay a premium, and people tend to collect them (an never build)

best work, I wait to next project :)
What Kind of glue do you use in your Injectionsyringe? Liquid ca glue?
Awesome
Masterpiece! Obrigado pela partilha..... ;)
Is that CA glue in the hypodermic needle?
I have no words. Wow. What a masterpiece again.. !
Is this Lothar Von Richtofen's Alb D.V ?
Thank you! No it's Manfred's Albatros
I've heard they shared the same planes sometimes. Especially the Albatros. This is also why it's so difficult to find the exact colors of Lothar's planes. As photo-colorist I had much difficulties to find informations about the red baron's brother
Sorry for this foolish questions.... What does "IPA" Means?
What is the size of the brass tube used in making the turnbuckles?
👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
HI MEN I HAVE A QUESTION
WHAT IS THE IPA THAT YOU USED WHIT TAMIYA FOR PAINT THE INTERIOR?
Miguel Ortiz De La Torre creo que se refiere a alcohol isopropilico
gracias amigo
Dude I Jizzed all over myself!!
