    Bought this a couple of years back, after watching half this and trying to crawl out of my own skin.
    That box will never be opened...

    Excellent videos! I doubt I’ll ever be at your skill level, but it sure helps picking up methods and ideas and applying it to my own work. Great stuff and beautiful modeling! 👍 Thanks so much for taking the time to make your videos.

    Thanks for this fantastic step by step build. I have this kit and was a little leery about getting it right. I plan to follow along when I do my build. I'm looking forward to part 2.

    Soon, I have a plan to build this model, but Eduard scale 1:48. Good work.

    If you get some quality side cutters you can avoid the saws. Tamiya makes some good ones.

    What references did you use for the extra detailing of the cockpit? Specifically I guess I'm wondering how you know to add the EZ line detailing and q-tip pipe details? I continue to watch your videos in amazement. Thanks!

    Quick question. The first time I watched this build I recall that yellow ochre ink was used for the cockpit floor and a few other places. Was the video changed? I need a few more things and I'll be ready to start my EIII build. Thanks again for such a detailed presentation and an awesome build.

    Actually there was only one turnbuckle on each side wire strut and they were position about a third down the strut and on the same side.

    Wonderful work! ...Why do you use IPA for Tamiya clear blue and X-20A for Tamiya clear orange?

    • @Scaleaton
      @Scaleaton  6 лет назад +1

      There is no advantage or reason. I'm just using ipa because it's cheap. In addition, the X-20A gives much better results with transparent Tamiya paints. If you have it, use it ;)

    Hi thwere Scale-a-ton! Really like your models and they are awesomely detailed! I have a little question however, what isopropyl alcohol do you use? (Brand name, Alcohol percentage etc.) Thanks!

    • @Scaleaton
      @Scaleaton  5 лет назад

      Hi, I use medical grade alcohol. If you can't find it any food grade ethyl alcohol would be great.

    I see in your videos the percentages you use with the paintings, but what does IPA mean?

    • @Scaleaton
      @Scaleaton  6 лет назад

    Looks like you're killing yourself using those razer saws, Widget Supply in Albany Oregon USA sells circular micro saws that'll buzz through those attachment points with great ease, recommend you use it with a flex shaft rotary tool for more precise cuts
