    super helpful and thorough video Tony! Extremely well done from showing all the various techniques and action. I've said it before in your videos but nobody knows how long and difficult it is to shoot and edit footage like this. Well done as always!

      Thanks Benjie~🙏😊
      Surely it took little more time than other videos and people don’t think about. And thanks for mentioning that. It is a kind of reward to me 🙏😂
      But I’m just doing it because I’m enjoying it lol

      I like them too. While I make the video I noticed 5g has good actions and drop time.
      Thanks 😊

    This is awesome. Thanks for doing this Tony. The micros appear to swim and jig the best. I was thinking for the next test how about a Kastermaster & Krocodile? I'll even provide the lures.

      I’m going back home maybe 2 weeks later from my business trip.
      I’m going to try it. Excited already 😆
      And thanks for the offer for the lures but I can take care of it.
      No worries 👍
      Thanks again:)

    Don't use uni knot because it's tight to the jig ring which prevents free movement. Use loose knot.

    With small jigs how light and long does your leader have to be to avoid spooking very picky fish?
    Thank you so much for providing such good info!

    • @CastNreeL82

      I use my leader 2-3ft only. For picky #6 test fluorocarbon line is the best in my experience.

      I personally don’t use 60g for surf fishing but I use the size a lot on jetty and deeper water.
      Personally I use 15g mostly 😅

    When you are using the 15g's. Where do you tie on to? Directly on the Jig or on the Assist hook ring? Or does it even matter?

    • @CastNreeL82
      @CastNreeL82  2 года назад +1

      To me, it matters.
      Some jigs have one ring, attached jig and assist hook together. Some have two, one for jig the other for assist hook.
      I tie on the one for jig. The reason I don’t tie directly cuz the line breaks soon or later, specially braid lines. After some casting and getting a good bite, line breaks. I’m not saying it happens all the time but happened to me many times. I lost the fish and my lures too lol
      And
      With the ring you can get better action of the lures. More active, reflective.

    How to avoid the hooks from catching the rocks when using them

    • @CastNreeL82
      @CastNreeL82  3 года назад +1

      You can use assist hooks only, no treble hooks. Easier to escape from rocks.
      Or you can retrieve the lures little faster before the lures hit the bottom.
      But I believe there’s no way to avoid snagging rocks 100%
