I got the rod for 15~45g jigs from the surf. I think I need to use it few more times, but I could feel comfortable when I cast. Its middle part was strong and supported well. Some of other light long rod’s top parts are too flexible and bother the lines moving through but I got almost none from this rod. And the guides are good. feel smooth.

I haven’t tried their braid line. I just checked on Amazon. It is expensive line 😅 I think I gotta try it sometime soon. What makes it different than other lines? Can you tell me one? Thanks 😊👍

@@CastNreeL82 Oh, I meant they have a lot of different rod models to choose from. I like to use their Shore Jigging models a lot, and the 3 piece ones for travel.

I would say it depends on the situation. Personally, when it’s more active I rather use drop shot. For picky, I rather use Carolina rig. Thanks for your comment 😊👍

Sorry for late response I don’t check replies often. For the kinds of fish, you are going to fish at jetty and you will need a long rod. It is not easy to recommend specific rods and reels. Cuz it all depends each one’s taste. I wish I can make a video any time soon for the gears so you can pick one for yourself. Thanks for your comment and watching the videos :)

I personally use clips on over 10g mostly. When it’s too quiet and not easy to get bites and I take the clips out. And use 2-3ft leader lines too. Tight lines ~😊👍

On that jig, I don’t mind use clips or not. Not a big deal to me :)

I dont think so.. in a pendulum cast the jig should be between the last guid and the reel. He just needs to make the lower part of the rod bend more while casting and prevent the jig from rotating mid air.

@@Arabian_Gulf_Angler agree. But its like any cast the movement feels unnatural ,therefore i think startingnout at a shorter length while you get the hang of it will help.until eventually you lower it to the desired length

I like the colors and the lures 👍 When I get new lures, I check how the lures moving and how fast or how slow I can use them. Before I use them for fishing. With the same lure, each person creates different lure actions lol
