Halibut Surf Fishing lure / Megabass Kanata / getting bites back to back

Hello guys :)
I had a fun time with the Kanata 160 by Megabass.
got bites back to back.
I believe Kanata is one of the best surf fishing lures I've tried so far.
It is a little bigger than the lures I used to throw but works perfectly even for smaller fish.
Highly recommend trying it!

Thank you for sharing!!! There a lot of videos on surf fishing targeting halibuts that are good but your videos are exceptional! How to read the water, look for structure, where to cast and how to retrieve are very helpful. That’s something I need to put time into….Idk how to look for structure yet but I’m learning and your videos have definitely helped ! Thanks for sharing your knowledge, much appreciate it!

I've always subscribed to the notion that presenting something different that the fish aren't used to seeing will lower their guard and make them just assume it's natural simply because they've never seen it before. To them it's random when they first see it, just like nature, but if everyone starts fishing that same lure the movement becomes repetitious and the fish will recognize and adjust.

Also people take the aggressive ones home for dinner so only the careful picky ones are left.
Getting harder to meet good fighting fish.

I used #20 braid +#12 fluorocarbon leader 2 feet long.
