Make sure you also hit the two little "pond-looking" spots directly to the northwest of this spot. They're both continuations of the river but in these two spots the fish are completely trapped and can't escape the wrath of your spear and silverlust lol.

Thanks alot, been waiting for a non-glitch method, i got a tip for expanding the fishing method that wasn’t mentioned in the video i believe and thats with the auto loot from melee kills which i believe is far down to the left in the raven tree (yellow).

My preferred fishing method is duel spears. Like my dad used to say "Son, never do with one spear what you can do with two spears."
I prefer to kill the fish in Northwic (East Anglia). There's already a dock in the canal for immediate fast travel and a nearby vendor. I've also found the greatsword (with it's weird arc) to marginally faster for killing multiple fish if you're running and then swing (Eivor swings from left to right). If you swing normally it's an overhead swing that hits 1-2 fish at most.
8:14 I think this math is off. It's 400 because you get back the 200 you originally bet plus 200 from winning. The net gain should only be 200 per flyting match.

Yup. I did Northwic one time for like 10 minutes? It was really fun so I may have gone longer. I haven't had to farm silver since.
@SharkwithaLaser killing fish in Northwic is vastly better also if you go to the southern canal.. or the little finger south of the area... the fish are trapped by a shallow bridge and much much easier to kill
@@stoogie375 fishing has been made harder.
Dual-poles even better if you are high enough for the 2-hand dual wield (w/speed runes) - lower levels can only do 1 spear. Additionally, in East Anglia, I found the Northwic fast port (right where it says Wesum river on map) is also a good spot for spear fishing in shallow water. Getting Auto-loot (raven skill) was my first goal in the game & makes spear fishing a lot more fun/fast. would be good if your video had break points at the different map locations. Auto-loot skill does not work for Bow fishing, but works for any Spear fishing or direct melee, hence spear fishing infinitely more enjoyable than bow & you never run out of arrows.

@Gaming with Griff Griffin If you head south to the smaller "finger" or alcove which is south of the one you recommended. The fish are trapped by a tiny shallow bridge and basically stuck in a pool waiting for you to slaughter them. It's basically northwest of Jorvik on the left of the fork. Try it out and see if you can.

I use the drinking method, theres a small fort that has a drinking spot and the guy that we are drinking against is very bad and the best thing is that you drink only 4 cups in 40 min i got 5000 silver easy, i just need to search for it, good luck

Dude thank you. Since Ubisoft patch out the "unlimited drinking games in Tamworth Fortress" thing, I honestly wonder how long it'll be before they patch all the fish out of this portion of the map...
Don't they understand why people like Skyrim still? It's because exploits are fun and lot's of people legitimately enjoy using them, and people who don't like them _never have to use them_ .

This is patched. You can no longer get close enough to the fish to even swing your spear at them. 10/03/22
it still works but only in small flat ponds with not enough fish in them to make it worth yor time. The spot north of Jorvic still works too.

I don't think the spear fishing works as well as it used to. I went and just tried it a few minutes ago. The fish seem to have super speed and are great a avoiding the spear.......thank ubisoft
Yeah they patched it. You can still do it but its extremely slow which at that point it's not really a farming method anymore. The best way to earn money now is drinking and flyting

This is kinda slow compared to drinking. I gathered fish in this spot as shown in the video for 30 min and only got 1.5 silver
I've not seen a way to bet people to drinking matches but the first time? How?
@@Mikaboshiff yo Tamworth may be faster because of 3 drinks however Walden is faster as it is 4 drinks and 10 presses each. Tamworth is 20 presses each. All in all Walden is faster as you press 20 less than Tamworth.

Playing the game naturally would mean fishing with the fishing tool, which takes about a minute for just one fish.
@@doryaman I use the bow, but I only fish if I need a fish. I have been playing the game "naturally" and i have about 5k silver and nothing to spend it on because the game is paced very well
@@4evermilkman fishing is natural and a intended method of farming silver. And if you upgrade your settlement and want to upgrade your gear and stuff faster then there is plenty to spend your sliver on. So can you please explain what you mean by naturally because this is a natural method

@@truelove3435 yea exactly, no grinding, I just cleared each zone and moved on and I had no need to grind silver because I had plenty for what I needed and I had no need to grind xp because doing everything once was more than enough xp to level all the way

Stand in front of a beggar, give 5 coins. Get rune. Press up to call bird, up again and give 5 again to beggar. Get many runes and than sell them!

Some people prefer the female form to look at for the multiple hours of a playthrough and or hearing the female voice. The character you play as (particularly in single player) doesn't have to resemble you in anyway at all.
