Armor Lock exists for one purpose: to run out into the middle of a map with Ghosts and bait someone to try and run you over. I used to do that shit all the time on the Blood Gulch-esque maps, it never failed to ruin someone's day.

Fr had this happen on a desert bus map. The host made the armor abilities infinite and some people would spam it in the doorways or teleporters and funny enough we were able to cancel it buy getting a vehicle over them like the warthog. Finally after 7 or 8 tries we finally managed to cancel it long enough to kill them with rockets.

Its always hilarious how 99% of the time somehow no other player manages to run up to the enemy and assassinate him while the other is waiting in armor lock. Its like the universe is punishing the spartan for armor locking.
Armor Lock was really only useful for counterplay (I.E. plasma grenades and ramming vehicles), trying to use it as a purely defensive option always ended like this.
You may want to try some entry level one like solo leveling, that one is gooood, and by entry level I mean for people new to them, just like attack on titan is entry level even though is a masterpiece😅
