@Grandpa Adler Farms I have asked you and your wife for prayer before for my dad who had cancer. Well, it's spread throughout his body and he was admitted Friday for observation. Saturday he told me he couldn't fight it anymore and he was not going to win this race and was ready to go be with Jesus. He said he had a wonderful life with a beautiful bride whose up there waiting for him and a wonderful family who loves him deeply and he has no regrets. I have him permission to go and other family members have done the same. He slipped into a come 2 nights ago and it's just a matter of time. I may bring him home to my house to die around familiar things depending on how he does tomorrow. My father was the best dad a girl could ask for and I'm going to miss him terribly. I know my mom and granddaughter are waiting for him and all his other family that went on ahead of him. What a party they are going to have! Jesus will greet him first and tell him we and done my faithful servant and he's going to rejoice. But us kids are going to struggle because we are a close knit family. I'm his MPOA as well as his financial POA and I'm asking for prayer and wisdom as we divide the money he's left behind. I want to be fair to all but 2 have borrowed against it so I have to take that into consideration. I pray for wisdom. Dad will pass any day and my heart is breaking. He was my hero.
The best salad in town is served at Grandpa Adler farm. Such a joyful time. thank you for the person who provided the treats, and a big thanks to the lady who sends the wormies. most of all thank you Ralph for the care, love, and kindness you give those wonderful animals. And of coarse LeaAnn for putting up with it all.

Grandpa, i have had 2 two of them for 8 years. They work so great. And you can change the weight of how heavy the bird is with the wire on the side. Best bird house. I have 2 green large ones. They came from a store called birds unlimited. Enjoy.

Nelly seems so happy in with the others--I remember when she was in that cage by herself--she did not say a peep--Now she is talking--She loves you grandpa! All of the animals love you! as much as you love them--Lola would probably love the scratching with the brush!

For treats for Smokey get her some freeze dried liver or green tripe. My dog also loves strawberry 🍓, apple 🍎, blueberries 🫐 green beans 🫛, and carrot 🥕all safe for them to eat.

Great video Grampa. My daughter feeds her chickens , cherry tomatoes, they love them. I am happy you feed the animals that aren't yours ie : deer , birds and stray cats. We all need to share the " wealth " , so to speak , it's a benefit to them and your soul as well. Thank you for that.

I just love your videos! I have two goats (girls) 8 months old. They stand by the feed bucket and think the louder they yell at me the faster I’ll feed them. Lol they are so fun, like big puppies. I’m enjoying my chickens as well. Such fun and new experiences since retirement. They give me such enjoyment and purpose. Keep them videos coming. Love y’all.

The chickens also like sprouts. We pick up alfalfa and clover sprouts for our girls. I need to order the seeds and grow my own. I can’t wait for spring garden time.

My little Schnauzer is in love with your chickens and pigs. She gets so excited when she hears your voice and settles right down to watch. She growls at Smokey and the goats. If I ask her if she wants to watch her "friends", she gets in her tv watching spot and starts whining.
Schnauzers make such great companion pets! We had one when we were growing up. My sister was chronically ill throughout her life and he stuck to her like glue. After he was gone, my mom rescued a mini. They're so smart and entertaining!

Mom lived in Joplin down by peterbuilt and that exchange. She got hundreds of humming birds every year. She fed outdoor cats but after dark the raccoons would clean the bowl up. She would hand feed raccoons vanilla cookies, sometimes as many as 15 at a time. Don't leave the food out without keeping track of that situation.

Although I live in a country setting, I also live on a lake with neighbors close to me. I would love to be able to have some animals but know it’s out of the question. So I live vicariously through you. Thank you for taking care of those cats, and all your wonderful animals.❤

Lol, love the cat saga! Word to the wise... Once you have given them access to an area, dont cut them off without making sure they haven't gifted you with little gray bundles of joy. The best thing would be to live trap and take to vet. Spay and shots and your all set. They will get friendlier with food.

So glad that the new food is Smokey approved.
We used to feed our Cats and Dogs milk or vanilla ice cream when we caught them eating grass, because the Vet suggested it usually meant they were having digestive issues like constipation and the milk would make them 💩 and cleanse the intestinal track.
I love how Adler wanted to be held and was sad because Grandma wasn't home, he loves his Grandma and Grandpa.

As for the kitties, all tri-colored kitties are female. If possible put the food out in the morning, to avoid training raccoons and opossums to visit at night. I started coming down with something similar Monday morning, sneezing, sore throat, chills and I immediately started using the Zicam Nasal swabs that morning per instructions and the next day. Today, what ever that germ was is gone, no more sneezing, sore throat or chills. Hope you feel better soon. Thoroughly enjoyed watching the New Years treats for all the animals!

Ralph my dog loves chicken jerky. It's all natural with no toxic stuff in it that is much healthier for dogs.I get big bags of it at Walmart. I'm almost certain Smokey would enjoy it as well.

Ralph, I don't know where you normally buy your dog food but I know our dogs got to where they wouldn't touch food bought at our Tractor Supply store. I don't know if it was some odor that we humans didn't notice that was being absorbed into the food or what. But we literally had to stop buying it there.

Your red barn bird feeder from tractor supply will last you a long time I can’t believe the price has gone up $10.00 since I bought mine 2 years ago. Those darn squirrels I have around here in Maine I have seen hanging down by back legs so it won’t close they are so clever and then they figured out how to get inside it so my husband put vice grips on the top and out out smarted them for a bit until they figure out something else again. I love cats and glad to see you do also. They do end up bringing friends along to eat with them to eat. They look pretty and may take care of the mice you have in the garage. Thank You for being kind to all animals. Glad you had Chad and Adler stop by a nice surprise. You all have a happy new year and keep enjoying your retirement
