I already see one major flaw in this contingency:
Micheal Myers is known to use others to do his dirty work. There have been instances where people have either caught or killed Myers, only to find, much to their horror, that it was someone else underneath the mask. He may already know what you'll try to do before you even enact your plan, Bats. He won't put himself in a position where he knows he'll lose. Only when the cost is clear will he strike. Do not underestimate him.
Not only that, Micheal was shown (or lack there of) to evade an entire house of motion detectors to get to one of his victims so that method is useless.
Lets hope we get an addendum due to that. Perhaps ask the JLD if this is a supernatural case?

I feel like Batman is choosing the younger sister Canon here because Meyers' actual motivation doesn't exist, and Batman can't create a logical setup for a version of Meyers that has no directed goal to exploit.
He definitely could use the same containment he mentions at the end
The movie Forbidden Planet plays in the background of the first movie and that involves a monster of the subconscious mind.Dr Loomis also refers to the unconscious or subconscious mind in relation to Michael Myers. Basically Michael Myers is pure subconscious ID which is the reason why he doesn't have motivation but instinct. Basically you need to interpret Michael through a Freudian lens. Even John Carpenter refers to him as pure evil and can't die. Literally steals his sister's Tombstone and kills on the anniversary of his sister's death. John Carpenter wrote Halloween 2 and it is the cannon.

@@Churrowhisperereh very adaptable and surprisingly a quick learner. It seems he watched the tv in secret in the penitentiary the guards watched and he taught himself some brawling and martial arts. It isn’t like he does a kick or anything like that but if you look how he fights the firemen he’s actually surprising good.
He also taught himself how to drive by watching people, makes quick plans on the spot. And is very patient. He is also manipulative not with his words, but his actions. However he is not as smart as Batman. But never the less, he would provide a threat.
it’s like none of you even know who michael myers is. first, the family obsession is not canon to the OG movie or the new trilogy, even carpenter said he shouldn’t have made that timeline in the second one when he wrote it. michael myers has always supposed to have been a force of nature that kills for no reason, you cant tie him to anything, he kills because he is quite literally the embodiment of evil. it would not take michael long to realize that batman is a much more intelligent, lethal, and powerful being he hasnt seen the likes of before. i personally feel that batman will fail at thinking he will be able to contain evil itself, michael has been proven to be able to analyze every inch of every environment & also learn from it. while they try to study & understand him, michael will find his escape and will become 10x harder to capture the next time. The Shape would become the most feared entity in all of Arkham Asylum

The only place to put Michael Myers is in Belle Reve in a very tight containment. However, even Amanda Waller can find used for killers like him on a suicide squad. She always finds a way to manipulate anyone to do what she commands. Even a prison psychologist as Dr. Hugo. Strange can sometimes make some more dangerous and finds used for him for his experiments. Like giving him the use of beans venom injector to enhance his strength. Also, Batman‘s next contingency plan should be about pumpkinhead.

Finally i have been looking forward to this
I like how Multiversal Wisdom's Batman almost briefly references the other Halloween sequels such as Michael was a product of a dangerous Druid-like cult that made him what he is today when he was a kid that fateful Halloween. But takes us back to the original 1978 movie that we know and love and to the direct 2018 sequel to Kills and Ends to keep the mystery of Michael Myer's strength and stamina intact.

Note, Michael Myers does eat as shown in Halloween 8 that he ate rats and lived under his old home. I think in an earlier Halloween maybe 2 or 4 he ate a dog too. His endurance also has limits as shown in number 4. He was wounded to the point that he stayed in a coma for a year shown in Halloween 5. But he was shown to fear death in part 8.
