I cried out to YHWH for truth , the world and the church just didn’t make sense and I could not accept the answers I was getting from the masses. I was led to keeping the sabbath and dietary laws about 4 years ago . I realized I had been listening to what the world said about him and not actually listening to what HE had to say . My best friend is a Christian and I told her everything as I was discovering things thinking she would want to shout from the rooftops this amazing thing we hadn’t realized and the world didn’t seem to see either …..but she scoffed at scripture and said she had permission to sin and slowly we grew apart. She didn’t mind me quoting scripture and praying with her when I followed the world but she hated it when I started to follow the word instead. It’s hard to loose a best friend but I’ve gained so much and I’m just trying to keep my eyes fixed on YHWH and his ways.
You sound like me 15 years ago. Keep strong! But do realize that no Christian is Bound to obey Jewish Laws, you can voluntarily do these things if that is what your conscience decrees, but it is not a salvation issue. In Christ there is freedom from the old law, as Paul so brilliantly pointed out.
Thank you for going over the histroy of sun worship. It seems we are coming to full circle, from sun worship in ancient times to sun worship in our time. It reminds me of Ecclesiastes 1:9 “ The thing that has been, it (is that) which shall be; and that which is done (is) that which shall be done; and (there is) no new (thing) under the sun.” Man without Christ is the same, doing the same thing over and over and over again, generation after generation. Jesus alone is the change-maker. He is the one who makes of us a new creature, a new man or woman, with a new lifestyle and destiny. Praise His Holy name. We can clearly see as you clearly speak and warn us. We are doomed to repeat the sins of the fathers of unbelief and rebellion, even from the first and early entrance of sin. Satan has even lied to us telling us we are all so very different, superficial YES! But my bible says “All have sin and come short of the glory of God”. The real difference is made when we surrender our life to Jesus. He is the only Saviour of all men. END OF STORY!!!
YHWH is the name Jehovah. Jehovah is God's name. Jesus is not Almighty God but the son of the Almighty God. These two and pretty much everyone else here seem to believe that Jesus is God. Would the son of God be portrayed as part of a filthy, pagan trinity ? Think about it. The trinity is from ancient Babylon also Egypt.
@@DovidGershom I say this graciously my friend. There is no such thing as Jewish law in scripture. It’s the laws of God. God has one church of believers and they are of like mind from Adam to today.
When Paul talks about freedom, he is not talking about freedom from the law, he is saying those who repent and accept Christ as their savior are free from the condemnation of the law(Rom 8:1). Very important distinction.
@jayt2257 If that was the case, then the First Apostolic Synod (in Acts) which met to discuss whether or not the new Gentile believers (Greeks, Romans, Canaanites) had to observe Jewish laws. The conclusion (after consulting with the Holy Spirit) was this "Gentiles are to refrain from the blood, things strangled and sexual immorality. No other burden we lay upon you" (ACTS) Circumcision was OUT along with the dietary laws. Now for the Sabbath, interestingly the Sabbath didn't come up directly. I am still researching whether the Sabbath was considered to be for "all" or Jews only. The silence in the NT about the Sabbath leads me to believe (for now anyway) that it was thrown out with the old Jewish laws.
I love the urgency of your voice. I was a Roman Catholic but when I discovered the full truth I turned to honor God on the 7th day Sabbath.
Go back to the roots of Christianity ,the church Father's were not fools. But all the same live as Christ ordained and all will be well.

I was Anglican- my family very staunch and sure they had the right church- one so mighty and honored. But, when I heard Prophecy and the seventh day Sabbath preached, I knew this was Truth, and I was convicted by the Holy Spirit to truly honor God by loving Him enough to keep His Commandments and “Grow in grace and in the knowledge of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.” It’s a beautiful communion!😊

Our Lord rested on the Sabbath.....it's ever lasting, perpetual. Starts on Friday at evening and ends at evening the following day. Exodus 20 & 31 kjv.

It's not just praying on the Sabbath keep it Holy (set apart ). God gave us the Sabbath so we might get to know him. Don't buy or sell and do no work. The ones who obey are the ones who love him and he searches the heart.

Made time to watch this video (twice) and I want to compliment you both for making it! I also read many of the comments as I usually do, I feel it’s shared information, affirming what the video showed, we ask questions and sometimes one will share in a comment their personal experience with biblical words (it’s helpful and appreciated), but I came across a few that question (we want to do that respectfully, it’s good to question and test it with the Bible) and a few that don’t believe the content talked about and shared why (which is fine, the seed was planted for open discussion with biblical words at the Holy Spirit’s timing). You two remind me of Mr Walter Veith (*I miss watching the 3 of you together in videos, using biblical and today’s events to make us aware, put faith over fear) nice to see that the message is being spoken by you two young men of God too. I’m proud of you both, you both speak with confidence and a true love for humanity, “that” is following Jesus’ examples, truth matters because “life” matters, eternal life matters. You’re teaching me so I can teach others. I pray for you both and your families, those that read this comment and please pray for me and my family too. Can’t wait for the next one. We can’t stand on the sidelines or on the fence in the last days, doesn’t work that way, we are all active players, God will strengthen our faith through His words. I might watch this one again 👍
The Judaism, Old Covenant, was ended when the sanctuary veil in the Temple was torn from top to bottom (Matt 27:51) at the time of Our Lord's death. Our Lord replaced the Old with the New Eternal Covenant (Matt 26:28, Jeremiah 31:31) and, after the Pentecost (Acts Chap. 2), His Church (Matt 16:18) began the work of salvation as commanded (Matt 28:20). To honor the Glorious Resurrection of Our Lord and, at the same time, to separate from the practice of the Old Law which was no longer valid, St. Peter, Vicar of Christ and the 1st Pope, changed the Lord's day from Saturday to Sunday per the authority given to him by Our Lord in Matt 16:19 "I will give you the keys to the Kingdom of Heaven. Whatever you bind on earth shall be bound in Heaven and whatever you loose on earth shall be loosed in Heaven."
Yes, I always listen to professor wallters. The first time I watched him and I heard him. I picked up my bible to see if it's correct what he explained, it was spot on.

I didn't come to destroy my father's law, but to fulfil like magnified. So, is that what Jesus told his disciple, isn't it? Mathew 5 and 6, if read both chapters, Jesus was training his messengers to tell the world. Mathew 5, Jesus explain it to them here about the new law that he wrote. Let me bring the picture closer so you can understand. Exodus 20:13. This the same old law. Mathew 5:21,22. Now, can you see the different between the old law and the new law? Isaiah 42:21. This why the word said, MAGNIFIED. Exodus 20:14. This the old laws, Mathew 5:27,28. This is the new law. Now, can you see the different between this old law and new law? Ok, tell me, what is the difference. Everyone explained that the grace of God replaced gods law. That is absolutely wrong. I want to correct this to the world that this is the new law that Jesus wrote. Let me bring the pictures closer about this new laws. The old law says, when you killed someone you commit sin. The new laws that Jesus wrote said, once you makes plans before you act, your sin. The same as adultery, the old laws said, when you commit is sin. The new laws says, once you look at the girl and you in love, you're sin. Is that makes sense to you? This the new laws I was asking God about it, and he showed it to me when I was working one day. Now, I'm asking you to tell me why Jesus claims that he is God. If you don't know, please let me know so I can show you something that you never know before. God bless everyone. @@eddietomasi6164 As I posted above, St. Peter moved the Lord's Day to Sunday with the Authority given to him by Our Lord. Our Lord and the Holy Spirit are always with the True Magisterium of the Church and guide its actions. As you know, the Church started her work of redemption in Jerusalem as written in Acts Chap 2. But St. Peter moved the Seat of the Church to Rome under the guidance of the Holy Spirit (John 16:13). Why God guided him to move the Seat? Because God was going to destroy (in AD 70) the Temple and Jewish Nation, and scatter Jewish people, making them restless wanderers on earth for their rejection of the promised Messiah and Deicide, Divine punishments similar to that on Cain (Gen 4:12). St. Peter simply obeyed God's will.
This dispute on Lord Day is not from God. It is from Satan who wants to create confusion and division among the believers. We should trust God and faithfully follow the centuries old teachings of the Catholic Church.

i grew up adventist, but it wasn’t until i was graduating high school that a family member showed me the “total onslaught” series and it changed my life. God is speaking through his people TODAY. i pray and pray and pray that i might be able to set an acceptable example for my friends and family and the WHOLE WORLD to see so they might open their hearts and acknowledge the truth; to take on the mark of God and reject the mark of the beast. someday soon, i don’t know how soon but very very near in the future, church and state will come back together and the observance of sabbath on the seventh day versus the first day will be of grave importance.

I used to belong to the Uniting Church here in Papua New Guinea, that was established in the late 1800s by the then London Missionary Society, but ever since learning about the true Sabbath of our Lord.. it has truly promoted me to conduct my own research into God's Sabbath as oppose to "Sunday" worship and I gotta say, my life has never been the same again.. I thank God for various Seventh Day Advantists ministries that I accidentally stumbled across on RUclips.
I am now a true believer of the true Sabbath that is Saturday and no longer regard Sunday as God's day of worship!!

I too have been trying to study the bible as well as listen to online ministry. I came across Professor Walter Veil years ago. He showed so much detail and information that he didn't say directly but archive material. Which all had references too. I only learnt recently about him being a SDA. I looked in to their bible faith ministry. I have yet to read the old testament as I am nearly finished the new testament for the second time. I told a friend of mine a Christian. She had a conversation with some Christian friends who told me they said SDA are a cult. I d not recognise them as that at all. I am praying for discernment for the truth. God bless.

All this history is fascinating. When I started looking at this, I thought Marduk was a deified version of Cain. If we look at its myth, especially in its philistine version (Dagon) its says he "invented" agriculture. It even has a scythe hanging in his belt, I just could think of Cain. And since it is also accompanied of the 8 pointed star, which is thought to be related to the mark of Cain, it just made sense to me. Either way, it is clear that Babylon has never been so present in the world as it is today, and definitely the Roman Catholic church is the heir of all this wicked system.

The above comment has nothing to do with the commandment of God, the issue here is Sabbath being one of the ten commandments so sunday was not the Sabbath bit it was a pagan festival which was converted to man's Sabbath, so do we follow and honor God's commandment or honor man made commandment is the issue here

@@TheMomGeneral Again, if we keep the Sabbath as means of obligation it is not done in the spirit of obedience. When you were a child and your parents told you to brush your teeth, did you do it because they told you to do it or because there's an actual design law that shows that if you do not do it they will decay naturally.
We can still worship God but still believe that He is an arbitrary rule enforcer that uses his power to punish and in doing so we take Satan's characterizations of God to the world.
If SUN-day worship blew your mind, wait until you research heliocentrism. It's always been about sun worship.

I love my Sda brothers in Christ you are correct about the sabbath this is the one thing that must be a fundamental pillar of the protest ! It’s a commandment -why do I get this as a Calvinist and it’s just not an issue with everyone else? This is a commandment
I'm also reformed (Presbyterian) and I struggle with this. I admit that I am slightly uncomfortable going to church on Sunday. I am aware that man has changed a commandment, but I just hope that Christ sees the adoration and love on display.
Here’s another point to ponder on regarding prophecy and day year principle which proves all prophetic days in the book of Daniel is 1 day = 1 year.
Original Hebrew had two different words for vision in Daniel 8/9, (Chazown and Mareh).
In Daniel 8 while Daniel was in a vision wanting to understand the (Chazown) he saw an appearance of a man (vision aka Mareh)
Daniel 8:15 And it came to pass, when I, even I Daniel, had seen the vision (CHAZOWN), and sought for the meaning, 👉then, behold, there stood before me as the appearance of a man.👈
Take note that Gabriel is involved in this verse about the MAREH like Daniel 9. 👇
Daniel 8:16 And I heard a 👉man's voice👈 between the banks of Ulai, which called, and said, 👉Gabriel, make this man to understand the vision (MAREH).
Then he said that the (CHAZOWN) would be AT THE TIME OF THE END.
Daniel 8:17 So he came near where I stood: and when he came, I was afraid, and fell upon my face: but he said unto me, Understand, O son of man: for at the time of the end shall be the vision (CHAZOWN).
And the (MAREH) OF THE EVENING AND MORNING. The mareh which is a portion or part of the longer evening and morning one is true, 👉wherefore👈 shut thou up the vision (CHAZOWN); for it shall be for many days.
Daniel 8:26 And the vision (MAREH) of the evening and the morning which was told is true: wherefore shut thou up the vision (CHAZOWN); for it shall be for many days.
Daniel didn’t understand the MAREH 👇
Daniel 8:27 And I Daniel fainted, and was sick certain days; afterward I rose up, and did the king's business; and I was astonished at the vision (MAREH), 👉but none understood it.👈
Daniel finished the chapter saying he didn’t understand the MAREH and the previous verse that the CHAZOWN was shut up as it will be for many days / time of the end v17.
Daniel 9 the same Gabriel that was told to give the meaning of the MAREH returns to give him the understanding as at the end of chapter 8 Daniel fell sick and didn’t get the understanding of the MAREH.
Daniel 9:21 Yea, whiles I was speaking in prayer, even the man Gabriel, 👉whom I had seen in the vision (CHAZOWN) at the beginning👈, being caused to fly swiftly, touched me about the time of the evening oblation.
Gabriel who Daniel had seen in the large vision aka CHAZOWN returned as stated above.
Gabriel will now give him understanding of the MAREH.
Daniel 9:22 And he informed me, and talked with me, and said, O Daniel, 👉I am now come forth to give thee skill and understanding👈.
Daniel 9:23 At the beginning of thy supplications the commandment came forth, and 👉I am come to shew thee👈; for thou art greatly beloved: therefore understand the matter, and 👉consider the vision👈 (MAREH).
Then proceeds to go through the messiah 70 weeks / 490 years prophecy v24-27

Though do not believe that churches that keep the Sabbath are teaching more important truths all related to the salvation of Jesus , redeeming us completely , dying on the cross for our sins. Investigate before deciding in joining yourself to a church, I was in a church that keeps the Sabbath but they taught it as part of salvation, which is not! They had other unbiblical teachings so I left it ! The gospel is Salvation in Christ alone and nothing added to it, not Baptism, not sabbath, Not circumcision, not prophets, nothing. Jesus kept all commandments and He paid the death penalty for man rejection of HisFather law and sentence , we believe in this good news and receive His redemption gift and grace . It was not God that revealed that to you, but a demonic (legalist) spirit.
The Lord, through the prophet Jeremiah promised that the old covenant and it's laws would be replaced by a new covenant.
The author of Hebrews references that and goes on to say this about the old covenant and its laws, "it is obsolete, growing old, and ready to vanish away."
Why in the world would the "Good News" be "Good News" to the Israelites?! It was good news because they were no longer under the burden of the old covenant and its complex laws.

So there were *yearly* festivals, *monthly* new moon , and *weekly* Sabbaths (52 of them). We are no longer to judge each other about whether or not we keep the Sabbath or eat unclean foods. Trying to enforce these old covenant Jewish commands upon others was even astonishing to the apostle Paul.

That's the 1611 version. It says nothing about God's name being put on the idol.

The 25th of December was the great festival of Sol Invictus, the Invincible Sun who was the Roman equivalent of the Persian sun god Mithra and the patron god of the Roman army. The 25th of December comes shortly after the winter solstice which is the shortest day of the year and it was chosen by the pagans for the celebration of the "return" of their god as the days start getting longer. Constantine the Great was a follower of Mithra, which is why he established Sunday as a public holiday ("venerabilis dies solis", which means "on the venerable day of the sun").

One of the things God hates is lies & sunday 1st day worship is a big lie.
The Roman emperor changed the worship day from Saturday to Sunday.
Constantine changed the whole calendar. He changed the Roman Julian and Hebrew lunar calendar to the reformed Julian. The old Julian calendar calendar had 8 days in it’s week. The Roman army used the Mithra Babylonian 7 day week calendar. The Babylonian and Hebrews used 7 days in their week, but started the New Moons at a different time.

I mean, Catholicism is probably the worst but every denomination is an excuse to worship God without believing a word He has written. Think about it. What denomination doesn't specifically break canon? I've never seen it and I'm pushing 70.
Fundamentalists claim they're going back to the bible but I've examined lots of so-called fundamentalist churches. Every one of them uses their denomination to shield themselves from God's word.
Church of Christ? They have a very subtle form of disobedience and unbelief. It looks like New Testament Christianity but it fails in many of the particulars. Baptists all tell you to "find a bible believing church" but they themselves don't believe the bible so I guess they're advertising for some other church then?
Paul said it best, "There is none righteous, no, not one." Find a denomination that doesn't use it's status to violate the New Testament. I dare you.

I believe the point is to share facts and history as to the origin of Sunday worship. Not to accuse or find fault with those that choose to worship on this day. I believe you can be a Sunday worshiper and still worship the true and living God without knowing the true origin of that day. Many Sunday believers will learn the truth about the Sabbath and or 7th day. Gods true day of rest as mentioned in the Ten Commandments.

Akhenaten rebelled from the egyptian dynasty and didnt like the idea of worshiping many gods. He acknowledged one true God and was a monotheist. His story is fascinating.
He was the only pharaoh who depicted his wife by his side.
In ancient egypt this was unheard of an considered strange. Eventually he was exiled for his unorthodox practices. Also he had his kids depicted in his art , again this was not normal for a pharaoh to do. I believe we will see him in heaven because he tried to understand who God was to his best capabilities.

Akhenaten changed his name in order to declare his allegiance to the One True God. In 6 days, God created everything. On the 7th day, He created the Sabbath as a remembrance for mankind to reflect on what God did for us. Hence, when God rested from his labour, He gave us a special day for us to rest from labour as well so that we could worship Him, which includes helping others to glorify Him, take walks in nature, and more that is a reminder of our Heavenly Father and His love for us.
Therefore, the whole controversy between God and Satan is the day of rest that God instituted for mankind. For those who actually see what's transpiring in the world before our eyes and choose to ignore it instead of finding out the reasons why is, in my opinion, willfully ignorant.

Given that Satan is the prince of this world, it stands to reason that God had had to hold back the release of the 4 winds until the last person on earth chooses which side to be on. There are 3 sides at the moment. For God, against God, and on the fence. If one is on the fence and doesn't make a choice by the time probation closes, he or she will unfortunately be considered against God, and it will be too late to change their mind and be given the seal of God.

@@jap3270 you're right. Essentially it's cherry picking verses that suit their agenda. By thoroughly examining everything written in scripture about a particular topic, you get a better understanding. One verse can be taken out of context or misinterpreted. This is where pride and ego's come into play. It's easier to belong and fit in with the world than follow God's laws and Yeshua's teachings. If you look through scripture to find excuses, you'll probably find them, however learning, understanding and following God's word is entirely different! In the 1st situation people are putting themselves first. The 2nd they are putting God first and learning what He has to say and why. It's the same with prophecy. Sure lot's of individual things look like they fit, but if one small point doesn't, then the entire theory is wrong. 100% has to fit exactly and withstand criticism from all angles to prove the prophecy fulfilled.

If someone goes to church or a bible study on Wednesday nights, are they worshipping the sun or are they engaging in worshipping and seeking after Christ? When this same Christian attends a church service on Sundays, does he suddenly change the focus of his worship to and start worshipping some other god like the sun god like Ra? Of course not.
Unfortunately many SDAs conflate the day that one goes to church with the way that they, as Adventists, observe the Sabbath. But this simply is not the case for the rest of Christendom. For example, I know of absolutely *no one* who practices _sundown practices_ from Saturday nights to Sunday nights. Do any of you?

They just assume that non-SDAs must despise them in the same way that Adventists despise all of "apostate Christianity"*
"Sunday Worship" is a ridiculous argument that SDAs actually promote to people who do not think critically. What SDAs are actually afraid of is a law where there is *no worshipping God on the Sabbath* . Ask yourself this question: Is anyone trying to stop the Jews from worshipping on the Sabbath?
Nowhere does the Bible say worshipping God on Sunday is sin.
1.there is God’s sabbath
Genesis 2:1-4. Where does the Bible says “the evening and the morning is the seventh day?
2. There is the sabbath given to Israel which is apart of the 10 commandments.
Hebrews 4 tells us “to labour to enter his rest”.
The apostle Paul was he in sin for preaching on Sunday and praying for a man who fell from the roof.
