Thank you, Thank you, THANK YOU SOOO MUCH!! I tried your method of using this product by applying a top coat first then the unt base coat and my nails lasted. This was the easiest/fastest way I have removed my gel polish without my polish popping off before I wanted it to. I reviewed this product on Amazon and I gave you a shot out. Thanks again!!❤
so I finally tried this, and for people wondering, it lasted me a full 6 days. my tip to make it last is to fully wrap the tip of your nail with whatever nail polish you are using, just don't wrap the tip with the base coat. also, uSE A TOP COAT! I cannot stress this more! your nails will last so much longer if you use a top coat!
My only issue with unt peel off base coat it's getting it to last longer than a day or two after I do my nails especially after I take a shower cause that's usually when it pops off during a shower or after a shower, the whole thing just comes and let me tell you it's not fun taking a long time to do your nails only to have it pop off not long after, it is a good peel off base coat though, it does its job
I'd imagine this isnt for long wear. Its likely for people who change their polish every day or two, and whose nails get dried out from so much remover.
Great tips. I like having a strengthener on my nails, so it's great to know it will probably work if I put a top coat on it first! I have learned the hard way that with just the strengthener and then the UNT, the UNT will not peel off. So glad I found this video!
Thank YOU SOOO much!!! I also need a strengthener - I use nailtiques & swear by it. So are you saying to 1. Put on the strengthener. 2. Then top coat. 3. Then when all dry, the Unt peel off base coat? 4. Once dry to proceed with polish?🤔💜💜💜
So. I finally got around to trying this… I have had them on for 6 days until one of them finally popped off.. that I understand that one pop off was entirely my fault. But this method is AMAZING! usually this peel off base coat will not even last a whole day. But this method with all the showers. Washing dishes. Applying oils. They lasted waaay longer! I will feel confident doing this again! Thank you so much for letting me think I didn’t waste my money on this product!
Thank you so much for your tips! I had given up because my nails always popped off about an hour after I did them. And it was so frustrating, and it was hard to find tips on using the uh peelable base coat. I never would have thought of doing the top coat first.
Holy smokes I’m soooooo excited!! I just knew there had to be away to protect my natural nail completely from nail glue or press on nails!! I’ve seen the tutorial using the UNT polish on your bare nail and then nail glue or press on nail but I wanted even more protection and I knew it had to be possible! Thank you for saving me from hours of experimenting! This is the only video that I have found on RUclips that states this fact! This is a total game changer for me as my natural nails are super thin and peel At the drop of a hat. I had acrylics for years and took them off two years ago hoping to grow natural nails only to find out that I have ruined them. This allows me to have beautiful nails again! Thank you so much!
Hi Ginger! I think they complained about damage done to natural nails. But if you are being gentle you never need to worry about nail damage with UNT. Another helpful tip is to make sure you are wraping the whole free edge of the nail.
Thank you so much for making this video. I am new to UNT, and I did my nails last night with it. One of them popped off while I was sleeping! I figured there was going to be a learning curve, so I wasn't too put off by it. I was just glad that I didn't have to struggle with the microglitter that I used. I was curious to see if anyone was using it with gel, so I will be trying your suggestions. I found this to be super educational, and I've subscribed to your channel. I look forward to watching more of your videos. :D
@@GelsNGemsNails hi I'm new to this,as I havent tried it yet, hence I'm watching you're video.. Can I ask what tips you use please, they look so lovely & natural.
Thank you so much - you've got me thinking. I do not want to buff my nails using dip powder - it damages them and i am trying to think of ways to adhere the dip without buffing - this has got me thinking :)
Okay, this may become on go-to method for my Color Street nails! I think removers have damaged my nails and I seem to be allergic to something in many non-acetone alternatives. But I was afraid that a peel off coat directly on my nails wouldn't be any better. THIS method keeps the peel off layer off of my nails directly. I only used one coat of UNT over the quick-dry coat and it lasted well and peeled off just fine. Have another set on now and will see how this one goes. Thank you!
Thanks Ginger for the advice. I haven't used Unt a lot bc I wasn't sure how to use it under a gel mani or over a gel overlay. I'd put gel polish over it but it would become stringy, so I know I'm not letting it dry long enough. Then I didn't know whether to buff or not to buff. It's also hard to be patient when you're used to curing gels and your nails are dry right away. I need to just relax and chill. Lol😄
Madam Glam's peel off base coat does need curing. Since I wear my manis 2-3+ weeks, I absolutely love this brand, and highly recommend it to anyone else who likes longer manis. (I use only lacquer polishes.)
tkoehn_ nails I cure it for 60 seconds. Does it really air dry? I have never tried it. don't understand why she said it damages natural nails. I am more than particular with my nails. When I use it, my nails seem to be better off afterwards. I have always just put it down to not using removers.
This is so helpful! I’m going to try some of your tips!! I have oily nails that has made things difficult. Also- when it pops off early it’s kind of wet underneath which is so weird! (I have used it between layers of dip. Now I’m trying polygel because the dip lifts.) I’ve never tried shiny coat underneath so I will for sure try that!! I may also try the base/top of Reg nail polish underneath and see how that goes. Thanks so much!!!

Ok. I replayed it an I believe I said "a base coat such as Rejuvacoat or a fast drying top coat" I used to use all the time Seche Vite, it's really good but you will also want to invest in the thinner for it because it gets thick over time. The one I use all the time now is CND Vinylux, it goes on great, drys fast, has great wear, and its super shiny! You can get any of that from Amazon. I hope that helps 😚
@@GelsNGemsNails Oh my goodness~ YES, helps so much! Thank you~ I actually have the Seche Vite in my cart, but have heard about the thickening happening fairly quickly. I think I will give the CND a try. Have an awesome day you =)

I've come back to ask you another question please lovely Ginger? Do you think that if i did my strengthener, then top coat, then the Unt, all on my natural nail - then if i did gel polish on top of that with the light, would i be able to pop the gel polish off when i want to like i can with regular polish? Are you using gel on top of the UNT here, or regular no-light-needed polish? I have a really strong C curve in case that makes a difference? I've not played with gel before. My concern is that is gel so hard that it wouldn't flex open enough to get around those corners? I hope that makes sense? My C curve is like almost 3/4ths of an O - not quite, but close. My skin gets mad when i use acetone so that's why it's important i can get the gel polish off without it. Please forgive me if this should be obvious by your video. Im ND (Neuro Divergent) andvoften clear info just doesn't sink into my brain right. Thank you SOOO much again!
Yes. You can definitely use gel polish and it should pop right off just make sure your peel off is ALL the way to the edge. It the get get over the peel off it makes it so much harder to get off. Hope that helps. 😉
I don't have natural nails. Gel powder is used for my refills. I understand UNT is ok to use in that case? Also my main lasts three to four weeks, will the UNT last that long? I have a gel overlay, but I'll always have one or two pop off in a day or two, but the rest will last a week. So odd. Since it happens every time, I've started using NYT (Amazon, dirt cheap) and have had better luck.
Why use a top coat instead of a base coat first? What if I used a normal base coat and then the unt peel off on top? Will it still peel off really quickly?
To not use a peel off base. A great gel polish manicure with regular base gel should last you about a month and removal is not so bad with some acetone and foil. 😊
Is there any way when using UNT to make it look nice around the cuticle area? Every time I use it and everybody I've ever seen using it does not have a clean smooth line around the edges. Is this just not a possibility? TY
How long can you do with one bottle? When is it empty? I'd really like to try this base coat, but it's kinda expensive in The Netherlands to get a bottle.
It really depends on how much you use it. If you are using it every day to swatch or just fro whatever it isn't going to last a super long time. I do think it is priced reasonably tho. hope that helps.
Whenyou you say gel polish, is that the type to cure under a light, I use powder coat gel polish I think thats what its called, when I used this peel off base, my powder coat came off by it's self in 2 days
Hummm maybe by the time you get to the tips you have less product and your coat is just to thin at the tips ( hope that makes sense) I would say try 2 coats and focus getting enough on the tips. Hope this helps. TFW
My problems is that it doesn't come off that easy... I mean, it gets off just not in a hard peely. It's really soft and sometimes doesn't come off in one piece.
If anyone has trouble taking this or any peel off base coat off try using nail oil, you can get it at Walgreens for about $3-4 :) Also where is our Cristine Crew????

Your natural nails are beautiful under your manis! What’s on them?
Thank you. I usually keep a gel overlay on them.
Your nails are gorgeous.
Idk I ordered this but I can see myself not using it.
Why use a top coat instead of a base coat first? What if I used a normal base coat and then the unt peel off on top? Will it still peel off really quickly?
because the top coat doesn't have a sticky layer. I haven't tried it with a base to see how that would affect it.
This is incredibly helpful, thank you.
What would you suggest if you want the manicure to last for a month?
To not use a peel off base. A great gel polish manicure with regular base gel should last you about a month and removal is not so bad with some acetone and foil. 😊
Is there any way when using UNT to make it look nice around the cuticle area? Every time I use it and everybody I've ever seen using it does not have a clean smooth line around the edges. Is this just not a possibility? TY
It is a very thin formula so you just have to use a little bit at a time, don't over load your brush and just paint carefully and slow
Great tips. I can't wait to try them out. ☺
Whenyou you say gel polish, is that the type to cure under a light, I use powder coat gel polish I think thats what its called, when I used this peel off base, my powder coat came off by it's self in 2 days
Yes, gel polish has to be cured in a lamp, uv or led.
Hello Ginger thank you for the video. Can unt work under madam glam builder gel?
It sure can, just be careful if you have to do any finish filling, the filling process may pop it off.
Wait this one you cure?
No. This one is air dry
Does this work under poly gels
I've never tested it under polygels
Do you have a gel layer on top of your natural nails?
yes
My problem is that it peels from the base but the tips of my nails never peel so good. any ideas?
Hummm maybe by the time you get to the tips you have less product and your coat is just to thin at the tips ( hope that makes sense) I would say try 2 coats and focus getting enough on the tips. Hope this helps. TFW
thanks. will try
Please do the gel polish and this take off base
How long until fully dry?
A few minutes
Great video helped me a lot x
I really appreciated this video. Thanks.
Thank you for watching!
Thank you for sharing your tips with this
My problems is that it doesn't come off that easy... I mean, it gets off just not in a hard peely. It's really soft and sometimes doesn't come off in one piece.
Please tell me you save that nail art.
Lol. No. I don't 😟😬
This helps soooo much thanks 4 sharing xxxx
Thank u for this video
thank you!
If anyone has trouble taking this or any peel off base coat off try using nail oil, you can get it at Walgreens for about $3-4 :) Also where is our Cristine Crew????
For some reason for me they dont pop off they just peel off like I put glue on as a base coat
got to let it dry fully!! Maybe you didn't let it dry long enough.
@@GelsNGemsNails thank you

Are those your really nails
Yes, with a gel overlay
You have a ever lay of something on your natural nail, I don't have anything, and the polish came off the next day
yes, I keep a gel overlay on my nails. Helps keep them strong so I can grow them longer. Thank you for watching.
Thank you!!
Thank you so much
