Great tutorial:). I wouldn't ever think to use the matte coat to mimic a prepped nail!

New subscriber! YES to BTarbox nails. ALL of their nails including the sets you can paint/design are excellent and fit SO well. I make my own custom press on's with their x-coat tips. Also, YES to tucking into the cuticle. BTarbox makes that especially easy because the cuticle area is so thin, but I sometimes efile a bit more knowing that I'll be polishing over top and I want the thinnest possible cuticle for a seamless application, whether gel x or glue. Tucking is also key for regrowth. Any woman with hair long enough to run her fingers through knows that getting it caught in the cuticle of a press on is NOT fun!! As to peel bases, I also have the Murron, which is great, but I LOVE Jello Jello. Not only is the base very similar in wear to the Murron, but the one kill remover is astounding. They work perfectly together and I've never had an easier removal process since using this system. Love your videos!!

I just bought the Beetles full coverage nail tips. Used KDS nail glue then polished. Oh my goodness I’m in love with my nails. I’m in the middle of learning acrylic an poly gel nails an wanted my own nails to look good because trying acrylic on myself was a disaster. Those are some beautiful press ons, think I’ll keep up this way since I love them so much.

Thanks for the detailed process. I love t change my nails often however they start to suffer damage. Now I can avoid with without all the acetone soaking. What a beautiful vlog.

I love love love these nails! I watched this video probably 10 times and finally bought all the items to try your method out myself! Curious how long they last on me and how my natural nails keep up underneath! I recently used those sticky tabs with a dot of nail glue and they lasted 14 days! I couldn’t believe it! 👍🏽

@@RozeBeauty318 so I am on day 11 using your method and 3 nails popped off in these 11 days. The good thing is though, that there was no peeling or sloughing off of my natural nail! So ‘YEAH’ for that!! Is it enough to go over the natural nail with an Aceton cotton pad or do you need to do more afterwards to get anything off? Mine didn’t feel like there was anything left on the nail.

what happens if i do all the steps except the matte top coat?
Hey love! 💕 I think the method would still work but the glue would slip around on the tacky layer of the peel off base. I would recommend rubbing the peel off base with alcohol after you cure to remove the tacky layer if you don't want to use a matte top coat. I hope this helps. Thanks for watching! 🥰

Would it work to just use peel off coat and then nail glue on top? Without the protein bond and matte coat? I don't want them to last more than a week
Hey love! 💕 If you only want them to last for a week, skip the protein bond. Because of the sticky layer from the peel off, I would recommend using the matte top coat. They will still pop off easy, it's the protein bond that makes them last. But if you don't have matte top coat, I would recommend wiping the sticky layer with alcohol before applying the nail glue. hi roze, i just watched your “using acrylic to apply press on nails” video. and now im watching this super glue video. i realized they both last 2-3 weeks. so which method do you suggest? cuz im currently using nail glue but i was thinking to start using acrylic? but is it really worth it? since acrylic powder is more expensive than nail glue and it takes more time to apply but you get the same amount of wear as the glue? please reply ! thanks girl
Hey love! 💕 I really like both methods. I think I still prefer the acrylic because it's less steps involved for the application and it could last 3+ weeks but the removal is more work as you will need to soak off with acetone. If you do this method with the primer, peel off base, matte top coat, and nail glue; its more steps upfront and you could loose a nail or 2 by the two week mark; but the removal process is a lot quicker. So it just depends. If you usually change your nails out at 2 weeks anyway this peel off + nail glue method would be the way to go. I hope this helps. Let me know which method you end up trying. Hi! This method worked really well for me thank you! Can anyone talk a little bit about the removal of the base coat from the nails? I'm finding that even after I soak off it's still really sticky and feels weird.
Yay! 🤗 I'm glad to hear this method worked well for you. 😃 So with this particular method, because primer is applied before the peel off base and the peel off usually leaves a sticky layer you can usually remove by simply rubbing it off, the primer adheres to that sticky layer really good. So you will have to remove that from your nails with acetone. I've also recently started using nail debonder and that has worked really well for me as well. I have a video showing how I have removed nails with the debonder and will link it here in case it might be useful. Hope this helps. Thanks for watching.

Hey beautiful, can I use the peel off base and a UV glue? I’m planing on starting to use UV glue so my nails last long but I’m worried to how to take the off without damaging the nails
Hey love! 💕 Yes you can if you don't prep and only use UV peel off and UV glue they will last about 3-5 days. If you do slight prep and use primer then UV peel of and UV glue. It will last up to 2 weeks. I have a detailed review of a UV peel off base that I use applying all the different ways you can wear it depending on how long you want your press ons to last. Hey love! 💕 If you are wanting to do a peel off with your press ons, it's better to put a matte coat over the peel off so that the dispersion layer from the regular gel base does not interfere with the nail glue drying. I hope that makes sense or at lease helps. Thanks for watching! 🥰
How did the removal process work with these?
Hey love! 💕 I soaked them in hot water for 5 mins then used a cuticle stick, lifted from the corner, and popped them off. You can also use a nail deboder to remove them. Hope this helps. Thanks for watching! 🥰

Hey love! 💕 Yes you are. I use this method of peel off and nail glue for press ons I want to reuse. Just file the inside of the nail and reapply. Thanks for watching! 🥰

Can I apply non-gel peel off coat under full coverage tips?
Yes you can but it will not last nearly as long as the gel peel off. You would probably only get like a day or two wear with a non-gel peel off. Hope this helps. Thanks for watching! 🥰

Hey love! 💕 Nail prep is really important for ensuring your press ons don't pop off. I have a video that shows how I prep my nails. I'll link it here in case it might be helpful to you. If you have press ons that are weaker and split you can always apply thin layers of builder in a bottle then tops coat it to give it extra strength. I'll link to one that I really like using. If you don't already, etch (either with an efile or nail file and/or chemically etch with acid free primer) the inside of your nail tip where it would meet your nail plate until it's quite rough and there is no more shine. "Pre-etched" nails are usually just mattified plastic and are still too smooth. Etching will definitely aid adhesion dramatically.
