Keep strong! Try something new maybe. Next time you see a cute girl your age(at the bus station maybe). Approach her, introduce yourself, and give her a quick compliment: It could be something you notice about her or something as simple as: "I thought you were cute and wanted to say hi". Have a short convo with them and then ask for their number. Note: The convo shouldn't be boring. Tease them a little(exaggerate things etc), instead of asking questions and making assumptions(Instead of "Where are you from?", say: "Oh you're definitely not from around here". Be mysterious sometimes, aka answer questions without answering them :) , altho I would only do that 1 time per question, no point in leading them on. However, this shouldn't be the entire convo, you should move from this type of friendly banter to just vibing with them. This way your conversation will have a lot of emotions and they will be interested in getting to know more about you.

A month ago, the girl i liked for 5 years rejected me. Of course i was hurt, but it turns out shes been telling all my friends that she didnt like anything about me, and that really hurts. I usually write your video’s off as not rlly helpful, but i learned really much from this one and will probably keep this in the back of my mind.
I personally think that having a competitive vibe on a date is more of a no-no :) If you’re looking for a serious relationship then you’re looking for that one person to be firmly on your team for life and to never compete with, to always work together :) a challenge that involves doing/making something together to see how you both operate in a team is more useful information
well its true you can get wrong with competition at times but as he said its a part of his personality. I agree with you on some level though, but some action is better than no action what would you suggest in return then as a teamwork plan?

For the first time in 6 years I don't feel bad in anticipation of the 14th of February. After my Graduation, I texted the girl I liked and she rejected me. Well I Was sad but a bit happy not to see her anymore so I could forget her more easily. A few months later, I visited the school where I used to be and she was there too talking to our teacher. She looked at me and her smile disapeared. She tried to ignore me but I kept looking disappointed at her. But I left before I went in tears. A year later my little brother had with the same teacher I had and she invited us, I mean the class I used to be. And she was there again. She smiled and talked to our teacher but when she saw me, her smile disapeared again. I smiled back because I was finished with her. She kept looking at me and tried to ignore me again but this time succesfully. I didn't mind at all and I was with some friends I used to have in that class.

I actually hate dating and meeting women. I see nothing exciting or fun in it. I genuinely think staying home and reading a book is a better use of my time, than going out with some woman I don't know, and trying to impress her. And even worse, doing it over and over again, like in the movie Groundhog Day, except every time with a different woman (who, in reality, is not really that different from all those who came before her). It sickens me, to the point I'm not very fun on dates.
At best, I see dating as means to an end, but I am very sceptical about its effectiveness. What I really want is to find someone nice whom I will love and who will love me for the rest of my life, just like my parents loved each other. I've come to terms that this is unlikely to happen, especially since I am unwilling to comb through hundreds of train wrecks we call "modern women", just on the off chance of meeting my soulmate.

Those dates are intended to work for him specifically - if it doesn’t work on some people it means they are not compatible and he can filter them out quickly. Everyone is unique and should look for someone who matches them

Touch is definitely an important part of establishing romantic interest but you should also be aware of how the person is and their upbringing. For example, all of the touch behaviors you mentioned are quite common among friends in Germany. You wouldn't assume anything romantic between them.
I am 29 and this year developed the first crush I’ve had on someone in over 15 years. They are great! Friendly, creative, and just someone I feel I can really be myself around. However, I knew this crush was doomed from day 1 (for multiple reasons). Regardless, I am still going to confess this Valentines Day, not because I’m expecting anything to come from it (I’m not, and am 1,000% with just remaining a friend), but because I feel it isn’t fair to them to keep hiding this info from them. Will I loose an amazing friend over this? Possibility. But I am willing to take that chance because I respect them enough to tell them the truth (because it does, in a way, involve them 😂) and to make their own decisions about the matter/come to whatever conclusion they want, even if it means cutting me out of their life permanently for their own personal comfort. As for me? I can at least take comfort in knowing that I was finally brave enough to confess something so personal, and that I was blessed to have such a wonderful person in my life, even for just a few short months.

You can't really connect well if you turn the 1st date into a job interview where you are on a mission to gather as much information as possible. Focus on fun and bonding; let the information flow a little more naturally.
