I am from sulphur and live in Lake Charles thanks for stopping hope I catch yall in town next time through and more places open I can show you where all the good food is.
Gosh guys, seeing this video is making me kinda home sick. Well being I grew up 30 miles west of Lake Charles it's only natural. So I guess by now you learned Boudin is pronounced Boo-Dan. The big glass building was called the Calcasieu marine national bank when I was a kid. They now call it the capital one building. I'm so glad yall touched on the devastation the area suffered. Sadly the red cross though dropped the ball when it came to helping the other smaller communities in the area. According to all my folks another good place for boudan is insane sausage in Vinton La. Yes boudin is da shizz. Thanks guys. I will share this vidio so my folks in the area can see. I have a friend in LC who is a descendant of the founders of LC.
I’m from Sulphur. The Boiling Point is a staple. Believe it or not, they have been told several times to fix the sign. I moved away in 2005 to NYC. I cook all that here and have Boiling Point Sausage sent here so I can make gumbo for my friends. Imagine being a liberal Cajun living there. Sheesh.
Did y'all make it into Houston, TX yet? Texas Hill Country area is good visit&Ft. Worth, TX area heading to Oklahoma offers Pecan Shed. Butchers&Block is on RUclips; what are y'all craving with Texas, Arkansas, Louisiana, Mississippi,&Oklahoma style cooking?
I'm truly sorry to hear about the devastation that Lake Charles, Louisiana, has experienced. Natural disasters can have a profound impact on communities, and it's important to acknowledge the challenges that people in those areas face. If there's anything you'd like to share about your city or if you have any questions or thoughts you'd like to discuss, feel free to let me know. My aim is to provide information and support in any way I can.
Awesome! I'm so glad yall enjoyed Lake Charles. We've had an extremely rough year in Lake Charles. The Boiling point boudin balls are the best!
So sorry about Lake Charles. I saw that y'all had a rough year, so hopefully it will only get better from this point on.
