Just a little update for anyone viewing this video in 2022, the Sausage Link where they stopped for boudin is no longer in operation 😢 they suffered too much damage from Hurricane Laura. BUT LeBleu’s Landing is still open and it’s still phenomenal!
Market Basket in Sulphur is my go to now, but definitely ask another local if you visit, because everybody has their own favorite boudin & sausage place around here 😊 happy travels!

Exactly i love in lake Charles too and it's weird to use because they don't eat crawfish or gumbo or how can or brown balls it's weird

Yes I live in Texas too so it's never too far. Definitely take a plantation tour and spend a few days in New Orleans. But I'm sure you already have a video on that.

I live here, I didn't even know we had this stuff...
also, boudin from sausage link is SUPER good, also we barely eat crawfish. we eat it maybe like twice a year, mainly on crawfish season, if not, it's SO expensive, but SO good, definitely recommend it. Yes, there's a lot of French words but I don't know anyone that speaks french down here, our second language is Spanish. We have big houses in some places and horrible houses in other places, your on the Southside, where all the goof stuff is, don't go on the Northside, it's very poor, houses are in poor shape, and taco bell never has the slushy machine working ;-;. Yea that's it I guess thats it, really nice people arond here...

Our second language is MOST DEFINITELY not Spanish 😂 it is french/Cajun. We eat crawfish year round, crawfish etoufee, crawfish gumbo, we eat boiled crawfish from March to July. Never heard of north side/south side. Great video though, we enjoy these places and enjoy sharing them with others around the world!!!
Lake Charles is a majority-black city. It's a mystery how you van put together a travel vlog about Lake Charles without a single black resident.
You are right. I did not interview many people in my vlogs then. I am adding more people now as we interact more.
How is the weather there?
It's nice and comfortable during fall and spring, very hot during summer and it can get cold during winter. Last year it was especially cold in February when I was there, unlike previous years. If you see the other videos I shot in Lake Charles you'll see that I was even wearing overcoats!
Really hot and humid in summer and lots of mosquitoes and other bugs. Not to bad in fall and winter it can get warm even then. It doesn’t get cold very often.

Could have saved a lot of time by just saying this place is garbage and boring as all hell. The only thing good about southwest Louisiana is the culture and food. Good place to pass thru but literally no reason to stay just keep going after you eat.
