Forever amazed by Stephen Morris's drum fills during the chorus on Transmission. Sensational energy.
This is brilliant! How are you able to clean up old footage like this?
The color is oversaturated though.
@@Nominay I think it’s perfect
You are even more genius!!!! This is brilliant!! You are genius. We get so very very close to Joy Division because for your devotion. God bless you for your work. Thank you one thousand million times 🙏 forever.
Holy shit
You did a good job man ❤
Fantastic work
Incroyable !
Thank you very much FageOner, this is beautiful.
thank you..xx
Very good.
Excellent job on the restoration! This was such an oppt for Ian to engage with a journalist for the interview portion and accompany Tony - why Steve ended up has always astounded me. Steve comes off odd and detached at 7:38 where his natural humor does not come to the surface or maybe his shyness got the best of him. Or maybe he was just as confused as to why he is chosen to stand toe to toe with Tony to combat commercial radio. Be a good backstory as to how this situation arose as I imagine Steve was not thinking he was going to be thrown into the spotlight like this.......but ended up taking it on the chin. Barney and Hooky may have been too childish on camera then so Tony felt Steve is next best if Ian declined? Well it was the only real chance for Ian to have been captured on film interviewed....and the topic they had would have suited Ian wonderfully for him to draw upon his years working at Rare Records and championing the more artistic/inventive music versus the heavily rotated Top 40 on the radio. Why he is not in the interview is such a weird miss as he had no problem speaking with Steve on Rock on when interviewed by Richard Skinner & Trevor Dann interviewed Martin Hannett in the same month?
Amazing quality !
♥
Thank you for this!
This is brill, thanks
THANKYOU SO MUCH ❤️
Thanks for sharing this!
Brilliant job! Did you use Topaz's Video Enhance AI?
Well, yes. Topaz's AI too.
The original footage is quality and has the spirit. It needed AI as much as it needed dancing dolphins and glittering stars imho
What's your favorite Joy Division song guys?
Shadowplay
Interzone. I love their human drum machine and the two sets of lyrics; it all is clashing really well
@@likethatnice i really love New Dawn Fades
Disorder, glass
Colony ( the Peel version)
This performance, itself should have put them in the RRHOF. Sorry lost out to Pearl Jam.
the interview portion doesnt look as good as it did in your 2018 remaster of this
