Well, to be fair Fire Team Harmony's armor is a foam base and they wear that stuff a lot. I believe Black Gryph0n's was made from a heavier plastic mixed with modified motocross body armor and helmet.
Since they designed those MLP outfits for doing reactions, maybe they have internal water cooling refrigeration [not super cheap, but the water pumps and tubes are easy to get from hardcore PC systems]. The main drawback like on fursuits would be the battery duration, but they are sitting all the time.
That is possible, Fire Team Harmony uses there suits all the time. On there own channels they use them for skits and such. I'm sure they took weight & everything into account when designing them. BlackGrypn0n's was a one off.
Actually, I think the reason they targeted Rarity's personality specifically is because her "one note-ness" is made a lot more obvious than the rest due to the repetition of certain words such as fashion show and runway as well as the sub-sub-subplot about setting up the fashion show.

A big part of them being one note is that the pony world has a lot more going on, and the characters have known each other for a long time & learned lessons / development. The human counter parts literally don't have the same experiences and development as their pony selves, so it makes sense that they behave closer to the early versions of themselves.
You can sigh all you want when they mention rarity's 1 track mind, but all she did throughout the movie was say anything about fashion. Regardless if you like a character you should see when the writers screwed them up.

I honestly found Rarity's constant mentioning of fashion shows to just be getting annoying because of how repetitive. It's not that I didn't take it seriously, it's just that it's SO hammered in. Even the characters were complaining how Rarity keeps calling docks runways. THAT was one big problem I had with this movie. There was a LOT of repeating stuff, simply for filler. The constant reminder of of Twilight and Sunset's past (after several movies about it), the work on the dock, the "I've got this", ect.
I watched Zootopia in a cinema at 22:15 (10:15 pm), 5 weeks after the premiere, in english (I live in Sweden), and all the 70+ seats where taken. My friend and I booked the tickets one week in advance.

The thing apart from the others with Rarity was that she is the only one who was focused on more. Applejack hadn't talked about Apples at all if I am remembering correctly. Rainbow Dash barely talked about how awesome or fast she was. Pinkie had some moments with her baking but it wasn't as stretched. Fluttershy was extremely under focused here. Rarity was the one who got her fashion show in with the plot as if it was important and never stopped talking about it, even when in danger. I'm not saying it's bad, but it isn't hard to get somewhat annoyed by that.

Top notch animation, a plot that actually makes sense and isn't forced (most of the time) musical numbers that, unlike rainbow rocks, I consider all good, the death of Brad as a love interest, Sunset finally devolved as a character who, might just be my favorite of EQG and finally, a sorta accurate depiction of teen romance *cough cough Equestria girls more coughing*. It's easy for me to say my favorite in each (The Cafeteria Song in the first, Shine Like Rainbows in the second, Unleash the Magic in the third and the title song in this one). Favorite overall is tough though. If pressed, I'd probably go with Shine Like Rainbows.
You know, the fact that this are less developed characters than the pony versions brings a tiny significant plot hole: why is Sci-Twi transforms into an alicorn? that doesn't seem plausible at all. And still kinda bothered that the unicorn transformations (and the alicorn that shouldn't be there) doesn't involve horns.
In the second episode of the tv show, "The Unicorn, Twilight Sparkle" re-created the Elements of Harmony from broken rocks (mere tokens, not the "real" old elements that are still missing); using the emotions she felt and the raw "white sparkling magic" the Sonic Rainbow unlocked on her years before. Because the new Element of Magic was made by a pony [not by a crystal tree], its internal "Equestrian Magic" is actually "pony magic" (something she was researching on the first episode); then whoever harneses it will acquire "pony bodyparts" even if they are not equine at all [the humans are primates, the sirens are hipocampi]. -> [The novelization of the first Equestria Girls (based on the original script "E.G.: Through The Mirror" ) even mentions horns on Sunset, Twilight and Rarity plus actual "pony tails" growing from their backs for all of them (Applejack actually referenced it on Rainbow Rocks: "Yup. Ears, tails, the whole shebang."). Why SciTwi has wings but Sunset do not? -> Sunset stole a gemstone made by a unicorn with some of the power of other gemstones beamed from the hearts of the "mane five" into it (Magical Mystery Cure [S3E13]). Later on Legends of Everfree, the geods (created with the same "raw" Equestrian Magic) was absorbed by crystals in the "Rock Quarry". Since Gloriosa Daisy lived her whole life in the Everfree, she had a natural conection with the forest, channeling this "raw magic" as "plant magic". The proximity of beings with weak equestrian magic atracted the highly concentrated magic contained in the crystals (the girls started to absorb it pasively since the first time they met Gloriosa). Later when SciTwi completes her "pony up" she has both flight from her fleshy pegasi-like wings and telekinesis from her unicorn side (she was also probably stronger and more durable than a normal teenager girl). She grabs from a distance the geods and those break free and align with each of the "sinks" of equestrian magic they detected. The transfer of power reacts with the "pony up" the girls learned to summon at will at the end of Friendship Games [Pinkie Pie shows it in the deleted scenes]; morphing them even more but this time with the aspects of the crystals themselves. All of the humane 7 are crystal -gems- hybrids now (in adition of their other pony kinds). Since magic atracts magic, the "next target" will be the sirens. [[ drops the microphone ]] (feedback noises)

I'm assuming Gabe is complaining about his suit because it is a real life motel made of metal and possibly other materials, which make it hot, heavy and bulky. Fire Team's uniforms are foam, so they have an easier time.

It's scripted , they write jokes ahead of time and pitch it to Race. There may be small chunks of authenticity but the majority is thought out and planned.

This is still my second favorite movie, really enjoy it. And yeah while the love interest part of the story wasn't amazing it was at least more bearable (at least to me). Timber was actually developed more then Flash Sentry in my honest opinion, and Timber was just in one movie. And I'm not even a person that hates Flash Sentry, at this point in the movies I'm more like are we really doing this? Can't we get some sort of development with him? And I'm happy that they did actually give him some sort of character development in this movie, however small it was. Although I did enjoy the villain song in Friendship Games way more then the villain song in this movie. I agree with you there as well. I would love one day if they developed the rest of the humans, because yes while I do agree with you that they all are pretty one note, you can seem to tell with Rarity, maybe because her pony self is so well developed that the human version of Rarity just seemed really one-note or something like that, like even more then the rest of the humans. (Not counting Sunset and Twilight of course). I mean while Rarity is my third favorite pony she's actually tied as best, the pony that she's tied with is actually Twilight, while my favorite pony of the mane six is actually Rainbow Dash. (I think of best and favorite as two completely different things). So I can definitely get behind what the Bronies in Bronies React were saying, because while I do love this movie and love Rarity her continuously talking about fashion and almost nothing else kind of annoyed me, not too much, but still. Still though really love the movie and I'm happy that you finally reacted to the Bronies React of this movie. (Gave me an excuse to watch it again). Great reaction and can't wait for more! XD.

my idea version of this movie: including the cmc, diamond tiara and silver spoon into this movie, all the catastrophic things that happens at this camp and filthy rich hears about it and threatens gloriosa if incidents like that keeps on happening the kids (his daughter more importantly for him), he will shut down the camp wich will drive golriosa too madness and she becomes desperate too try get nore control over the power (but she still messes things up) so she seeks out more of those geodes wich leads us to the cave(and you know how the rest goes there, except filthy rich is happy that things is under control now and his daughter is safe) the end

I'm conflicted about Dustykatt in this one... His humor was the worst in my opinion, but he also was the least cynical, which I appreciate.

Later when SciTwi completes her "pony up" she has both flight from her fleshy pegasi-like wings and telekinesis from her unicorn side (she was also probably stronger and more durable than a normal teenager girl).
She grabs from a distance the geods and those break free and align with each of the "sinks" of equestrian magic they detected.
The transfer of power reacts with the "pony up" the girls learned to summon at will at the end of Friendship Games [Pinkie Pie shows it in the deleted scenes]; morphing them even more but this time with the aspects of the crystals themselves.
All of the humane 7 are crystal -gems- hybrids now (in adition of their other pony kinds).
Since magic atracts magic, the "next target" will be the sirens.

I'm assuming Gabe is complaining about his suit because it is a real life motel made of metal and possibly other materials, which make it hot, heavy and bulky. Fire Team's uniforms are foam, so they have an easier time.

It's scripted , they write jokes ahead of time and pitch it to Race. There may be small chunks of authenticity but the majority is thought out and planned.

John Neal I assume this is a joke, but in the case it isn't, it's a reference to the Twilight books and movies.
John Neal it’s a reference people make. When they see a lazily done romance in media, then they make the joke, “Still a better love story than Twilight.”
This is still my second favorite movie, really enjoy it. And yeah while the love interest part of the story wasn't amazing it was at least more bearable (at least to me). Timber was actually developed more then Flash Sentry in my honest opinion, and Timber was just in one movie. And I'm not even a person that hates Flash Sentry, at this point in the movies I'm more like are we really doing this? Can't we get some sort of development with him? And I'm happy that they did actually give him some sort of character development in this movie, however small it was. Although I did enjoy the villain song in Friendship Games way more then the villain song in this movie. I agree with you there as well. I would love one day if they developed the rest of the humans, because yes while I do agree with you that they all are pretty one note, you can seem to tell with Rarity, maybe because her pony self is so well developed that the human version of Rarity just seemed really one-note or something like that, like even more then the rest of the humans. (Not counting Sunset and Twilight of course). I mean while Rarity is my third favorite pony she's actually tied as best, the pony that she's tied with is actually Twilight, while my favorite pony of the mane six is actually Rainbow Dash. (I think of best and favorite as two completely different things). So I can definitely get behind what the Bronies in Bronies React were saying, because while I do love this movie and love Rarity her continuously talking about fashion and almost nothing else kind of annoyed me, not too much, but still. Still though really love the movie and I'm happy that you finally reacted to the Bronies React of this movie. (Gave me an excuse to watch it again). Great reaction and can't wait for more! XD.

my idea version of this movie: including the cmc, diamond tiara and silver spoon into this movie, all the catastrophic things that happens at this camp and filthy rich hears about it and threatens gloriosa if incidents like that keeps on happening the kids (his daughter more importantly for him), he will shut down the camp wich will drive golriosa too madness and she becomes desperate too try get nore control over the power (but she still messes things up) so she seeks out more of those geodes wich leads us to the cave(and you know how the rest goes there, except filthy rich is happy that things is under control now and his daughter is safe) the end
