During the credits when they show the storm king’s statute remains, hasbro for the DVD release told them to add in some extra animation to the eyes have them move around a little bit to show that the storm king was still alive. This to me was a mistake because quite frankly his situation is worse. Now only has he turned with statue and broken to pieces but he’s AWARE, he can never be fixed because unless they happen to a found all of his pieces include all of them together perfectly he’s going to start bleeding as soon as he’s turn back to normal. I feel that I'm the only one that cried during the last song. Other than the case of this movie, if you put a dramatic scene like they were hundreds of people murdered around you and you were barely struggling to live, having a last glimpse of your killers and your family, dead. It shows that there are people around the world going through hard times, some harder than others. This also applies to S1 Cutie Mark Chronicle, Twilight said if you are having a hard time just look up at the sky, that maybe you and your friends out in the cold evil world are looking at the same rainbow. This implies to the lyric "I can see a rainbow". This to me is just so sad to know that not everyone can be convinced or everything can be fixed by singing songs and dancing. There will always be the evil out there, especially on this planet. With the many things happening to our world, we always have to be reminded there is a silver lining in everything that comes our way. The meaning to me is so deep and emotional it makes me cry every time. Remember, always find the time to help those in need, you had no idea the hardship they might have gone through. By having it be Rara (Countess Coloratura), there would have still been the celebrity value, but with preexisting connections to the Mane Six. Consequently, there would have been a greater emotional impact when she encountered Twilight after both were captured, highlighting the idea that Twilight's actions were at fault since the friend they shared, Applejack, was absent. Rara's presence would have also given Applejack more to do during the final battle.
EditDeath As much as I enjoyed Rara back in Season 5, that would’ve been something on how she’s linked between AJ and Twilight as mutual friends and even pushed for more AJ screentime, this is probably the studio’s way on introducing the movie to new audiences since they likely never even watched the show from the very beginning at all. Yeah, that did feel like a missed opportunity.

I feel that I'm the only one that cried during the last song. Other than the case of this movie, if you put a dramatic scene like they were hundreds of people murdered around you and you were barely struggling to live, having a last glimpse of your killers and your family, dead. It shows that there are people around the world going through hard times, some harder than others. This also applies to S1 Cutie Mark Chronicle, Twilight said if you are having a hard time just look up at the sky, that maybe you and your friends out in the cold evil world are looking at the same rainbow. This implies to the lyric "I can see a rainbow". This to me is just so sad to know that not everyone can be convinced or everything can be fixed by singing songs and dancing. There will always be the evil out there, especially on this planet. With the many things happening to our world, we always have to be reminded there is a silver lining in everything that comes our way. The meaning to me is so deep and emotional it makes me cry every time. Remember, always find the time to help those in need, you had no idea the hardship they might have gone through. Like if you agree.
The reboot was good compared to the original G1 MLP movie from 1986 which was a total garbage. This is the definitive reboot.

By having it be Rara (Countess Coloratura), there would have still been the celebrity value, but with preexisting connections to the Mane Six. Consequently, there would have been a greater emotional impact when she encountered Twilight after both were captured, highlighting the idea that Twilight's actions were at fault since the friend they shared, Applejack, was absent.
Rara's presence would have also given Applejack more to do during the final battle.
EditDeath As much as I enjoyed Rara back in Season 5, that would’ve been something on how she’s linked between AJ and Twilight as mutual friends and even pushed for more AJ screentime, this is probably the studio’s way on introducing the movie to new audiences since they likely never even watched the show from the very beginning at all.
Yeah, that did feel like a missed opportunity.

Her country was in danger along with a dictator's accomplice and her minions are in hot pursuit, and her friends are screwing around singing songs. Yes, they gained allies thanks to her friends, but she's the last royal one not stoned. She's also frustrated because she thinks her friends aren't taking it seriously.
If you were in Twilight's shoes, you would do the same thing. Plus, Rainbow Dash gave away their cover unintentionally, which destroyed Celano's ship. So, I think her actions were justified.

Yes, Rainbow DID make a rookie mistake with her rainboom. But them "goofing around" and singing upon meeting the new creatures was THEIR way of taking things seriously.
In my eyes, there are two ways to handle a situation in a "serious" manner.
You can do it Twi's way; doing EVERYTHING by the book, fretting over every detail and worrying about everything going perfectly...or you can be like the others.
Cut loose, be who you are while still maintaining focus on the task at hand. Personally, I vote for the latter.

I was hoping they wouldn’t complain about this, but they did. They keep on pointing out that three out of the mane six can fly, but there are two issues. Flutters can’t seem to fly consistently, and oh I don’t know... THE RAGING STORMS THAT WOULD PROBABLY BE TOO STRONG TO FLY THROUGH! (I’m sorry, this just seemed really obvious to me.)
