Say what you will about The Storm King as a villain, but the fact that Liev Schreiber can play the villain Sabertooth in Wolverine: Origins, a silly and over the top villain like the Storm King, and an imposing gangster like the Kingpin in Into The Spider-Verse makes Liev Schreiber always a win.
Viva was just fantastic as always lol, probably my favorite. Also Vincent Tong was the perfect surprise, Mr Flash Sentry. Definitely was a great experience as always blank 👌.

What I hate about the conformation scene is that they're saying that twilight should've trusted her friends but 1. She did trust them up until then, she didn't trust the pirates or capper but she went with it because her friends seemed to trust them, you can see over time she forms the thought process of "she has to do something because her friends aren't thinking before they act" because each time she trusted them to help they would mess it up, like when they trusted capper then he tried to sell them and when RD did the rainboom. 2. It's not that she didn't trust them, she didn't trust the people they were dealing with, as black gryphon said. Also like littleshy said, she may not have been thinking straight and just been so desperate that when hope presented itself she went for it

I mean, her friends abandoned her after she was horribly and permanently injured when THEY were the ones who insisted she go in the cave where she lost her horn. Those ponies were jerks and I hope they got shitty jobs and lives later on. Would serve them right. 1:11:03 I'm more questioning HOW Sky Star transformed so close to the surface. I mean, she clearly doesn't have the Pearl, so the only way I can see this working is if she secretly has one of those fragments. Though, regarding the fragments of the Pearl thing, I personally see that idea as a coverup for the fact Queen Nova really just found a way to transfer the Pearl's power into smaller amulets and hasn't even told her own subjects in order to keep everyone believing the Pearl is now destroyed. She's being a smart ruler. If people think your special macguffin is destroyed, they won't keep trying to steal it and if they come after you, thinking you're defenseless without it, you can turn the tables on them almost immediately

The MLP movie has definitely grown on me, but I'm still pissed Spike was turned into a damn puffer fish. And honestly i liked the Storm King, he was like a weird mix of the unserious personality of Discord and the hard core personality of Tirek. :edit: And I'm not a fan of how he's the one villain to actually be killed?

And where did you see the Storm King Blink?.. it showed his statue that's damaged wasn't even accurate to how it was damaged in the movie itself, then it collapsed... He never blinks. And no one confirmed his death, cause the probably thought him being turned to a statue that was then shattered would be enough proof.. and even if he's not dead, he stuck as a broken statue.
