Yah it almost proves that a moon the equivalent of a month. Sunset was trapped in are world for 30 moons, it being the same as a year doesn't work because sunset would be older, a day wouldn't work because she wouldn't have been able to be princess of the fall formal so many times. Every 4 years is an odd time frame for the friendship games, and odd things like that are normally necessary for the plot. 30 months is about 3 1/2 years. So IF it's been 6 months since the first movie, then it would fit quite nicely. This is my theory, care to disprove it?
Lilith Booth I won't disprove it so much than point out in middle and high school we HAD events that happened once every 2 years. I suspect some schools had longer gaps but the idea is that when the event repeats the participants are always new students with no repeats. In the cast of the 2 year gap it was only the highest 2 grades that participated. Where as this Friendship games is a full school participation so it would be roughly 4 years for every participant from the last games (baring people held back a grade) to have moved on.
You know what any glitches from equestrian girls on we can just say that if flutters rainbow or twilight loses their wings in the pony world it's not a glitch. PONY UP

one thing I realized I would like to see while watching this is: a movie where the human mane 6 and sunset go over to the pony world to help stop something that the pony mane 6 cant stop. for example some kind of magic resistant piece of tech the sunset/human twilight may have made in a misguided attempt do something with the magic they have over there
