My father has bad dandruff and we used to make him nettle tea for a hair rinse. I think if appreciate the lavender and other ingredients :) Maybe some bergamot? As usual, great video and ideas Sally! Thanks for sharing.
So glad I caught this video! I don't have stinging nettle (I'm not even sure if it grows here🤔) but I have everything else. I wanted to an alternative to essential oils since they're so wasteful. I had to water our rosemary plant so I'm going to start on this tomorrow morning!
I usually use a quarter of vinegar to water for my hair rinse, I have dermatitis and it's the only thing that's helped with the symptoms, adding herbs would be better as it does smell pretty strong. If I don't have access to fresh plants, could I just use store bought things?
Fresh herbs have a higher water content and also there will be differences in the aromatics, some herbs lose top notes on drying, others will alter a little. Both are useful though.
It's the most efficient way, in my case I didn't have quite enough vinegar, but regular shaking and turning the jar upside down periodically meant everything infused just fine. If you have enough vinegar though, fill right up
Hi Sally, I'm really enjoying your channel! It's so informative and some really beautiful and easy ideas, also very relaxing to watch, thanks :)
THANK YOU!!!!!❤
You'll have to pry that lavender from my cold dead manly hands 😝
Lovely!

You'll dilute this lots for use, so make the rinse with plain vinegar then cut it before use. You can certainly use dried herbs
What’s the difference between using dry herbs and fresh herbs?

are you filling the vinegar to the top of the jar with herbs?

First time viewer, the sound is rather low.
