Mariposa is a wonderful gem of a town. The people are very warm and friendly, and you feel like you are home there simply as a visitor. Thank you for staying true to our rich mining history and California cultural heritage. I am honored to have been there and plan to visit again soon :O)
Wow, very extensive overview of Mariposa. Thanks for producing it. I hope this video peeks the interest of people coming up to visit the town and help support the local economy as things "return to normal" some day. Even though this is a very long video with a lot of content, there is even more to see and do in and around Mariposa. We get to come up and visit regularly since my Parents live just a bit outside of town.
Yeah isn't that the truth? We had to exclude a few restaurants we ate at since we already were featuring three in the video, there's a gem and mineral museum up there as well, there really is a lot to do and see in this place and it's a great place to spend a few days in, and seems to be a great place to live as well.
Thank you! Three more episodes left this season and then once Season 2 picks back up at the end of January we'll start bringing Arizona, Utah, and Nevada into the mix.
Awesome I can tell you alot about UTah the great places I ate at for a year i spent traveling to see my son Loren was at school over there for 1 year. they have the best roads city is very spread out like fresno. And Nevada too I used to own property less than 10 mins from Virginia City in stagecoach Nevada on US highway 50. definitely check out the Wild Horses run wild through the mountains near Virginia city. Arizona my daughter and her boyfriend nick just moved too Phoenix in October Williams Arizona has the Grand Canyon Railway that was a lot of fun we stayed at the fray marcos hotel at the train station and took the train to the grand canyon for the 2 day trip. the city of Parker home to Lake Havasu and the Original London Bridge is phenomenal to see we spent a lot time traveling when my 2 older kids were younger.
I think they were the very last county in California to have even one case of Covid… I think they didn’t even get their first case there until like July or something - I have a few relatives who live there.
Well done! Thank you so much for coming to our little town and making it a part of your series.
Our pleasure! It was the place we'd looked forward to the most and it didn't disappoint!
Mariposa is Fabulous!!

It really is, we'll have to go back there one day for sure.

Is mariposa , California safe for living? How is the crime rate? And how is the costing?
Yes, barely any robberies, crime rate is low, but it is very expensive
Huge gang war going on in Mariposa as we speak. I think it's the Crips and Bloods.
HAHAHA THATS AN ANNUAL FESTIVAL
