Another stunning design! Thanks so much. I recently saw one of y’all Sister chats where y’all mentioned people were making ugly comments about patterns not being correct or something. I think anyone that can’t keep a civil tongue or comment should be surcharged. You don’t charge a penny. Y’all are super sweet and there’s plenty of amazing content.

Great! This landed just as I'm off on a trip and was looking for a portable project. It is perfect for a shiny yarn I have had in stash for ages. 3 balls and a crochet hook will travel. Clear and easy video as ever. Thank you!

I'm making a mesh stitch sweater right now but not in the back loops. What a great idea. Love the hats, I'm thinking of making one. Take care Tiffany.

Pretty stitch, ty for sharing. I'm going to do this on my next hat this morning, but also include short rows to reduce more crown bulk.

If you have a turn up,it best to have wrong sides together sew 2 ins then the remainder turn inside out right sides together continue to finish

When using a worsted weight #4 yarn, how many beginning chains would you recommend for an adult size hat? The stitch you've presented here is gorgeous.

It depends on your yarn, hook, and tension. You can find size charts for hats on the internet.
If the hat is for yourself, make enough chains to reach from your eyebrows to the crown of your head, or from the crown to the middle of your ear. If you want a turned-up brim, add enough chains to add 2 inches to the length of your chain. Add or subtract 1 chain to make an odd number. Then follow the directions.
For the hat circumference (how big around) measure around your head along the line the hat will go, then subtract 2". Average head circumference for a woman is 22"; then subtract 2" to equal 20". That's how many inches you want to crochet for the body of the hat.
I suggest making yourself a hat this way so your crochet brain will understand the process 😊

So so pretty. I’m sorta confused is it just the back loop of the stitch right? You just make it look so so easy ❤

Does anyone know what would happen if you don't include the slip stitches? 😅

I must have mental problems as I am having a very hard time keeping the correct number of stitches! If I start with a chain of 33, how many stitches should I have @ the end of my 1st, 2nd and 3rd rows?

Nevermind - gotta start with an even number. All good now!

Question: In the video you say to chain any odd number but in the pattern it says to chain any even number…which is correct?

    • @racheltorvik5345

On FB she said the video was incorrect and she corrected the pattern. Start with an even.
