Love the idea of creating stains to see how well they get removed. Most of us don't want to use our goods to create stains.
Something which I totally understand. Luckily I still have reusable baby wipes which I don't mind to make dirty.
Thanks for doing this video. Very informative. I too agree without any pretreatments this stains wouldn’t have come out with regular detergent. Would love to see side by side chemical comparisons with the big name brands.
I don't know how much they pay people to say this product is good because it not ..read all the reviews I could find about Tru earth and decided to do the trial packs it says use 1 strip for half load well I think to queen sheets and 4 pillow cases is half load.washed on warn water and this product did nothing no clean smell nothing I then tried 2 sheets lavender sane thing no fresh smell nothing then I tries 4 lavender sheets still no clean smell ..this product socks DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY
polyvinyl alcohol is not environmentally friendly

@lynnettawilliams: You can get these at the Jewel-Osco stores in ILLINOIS. I live near Chicago and they should be available in all the grocery stores in this area.
Do you have a feedback after a few months? How has it been? Does it really clean / if it didn't smell like anything would you consider that a good sign, as I would prefer my clothes smelling the laundry to know it got cleaned? Maybe in the dryer the scent got stronger?
I loved using them! Especially when we were camping as they were so easy to bring. If you prefer a smell, they have different options for that but I like the unscented version and I feel that it could get my clothes sufficiently clean.
I don't use a dryer so I can't say anything about that but once the clothes were line dried they still smelled of nothing.
It will be quite some time before these laundry sheets will give satisfactory cleaning. Much needs to be done to greatly improve their performance!
They are perfect for everyday wear but for dirty items like kids' clothes or cloth diapers they don't have enough cleansing power.
Try enzymatic laundry detergent work really well. Some laundry sheets and liquids contain it.
I’m surprised with the comments that laundry sheets don’t clean well. I’ve been very happy with mine although I don’t use the Tru Earth brand. Too expensive. I use a brand made in my area, Eco Living Club. I find they are better value. I agree that the sheets don’t take out stains. But neither did my liquid plastic jug detergent. I have to use a stain remover and soak. I like that they save space. I don’t have a lot of room. Although, I’m hearing PVC is in them and it’s not eco friendly. But accounts seem to diff on that.
I should note that I don’t have children. I do laundry for my partner and myself. On occasion I’ve had to use 1.5 sheets for a dirty load.
I also found mixed sources about plastic in laundry sheets so I use a mix of different detergents.
I use a strong detergent for cloth diapers, kids clothes and undergarments but for delicates or my boyfriend or my clothes I use an eco-friendly detergent like sheets or the eco egg (whichever is on discount when I need new ones).
In which country does the producer does not have to list the ingredients of such a product? 🤔
It is not food so the ingredients don't have to be listed as far as I know.
@@GreenHappyMom ok, but in which country is this legal? Because as far as I know, in the whole Europe it is mandatory to list ingredients on everything, including cosmetics, cleaning products, etc…

You shouldn't have stuck them in that laundry bag thingy because of course it's not going to come clean. I feel like you would've gotten the same outcome with using nothing lol
People keep saying that however, i gave been cloth diapering for over 5 years now and have been using these bags for dirty wipes and those come out clean so i dont think the bags are the problem. Sometimes there are close to 20 wipes in a bag and they still come out clean 🤔
Be honest. You would have pretreatment with any other laundry detergent. So doing it like this with this type of soap sheet as a test is not accurate
Actually i dont. I dont have time to pretreat all my kids clothes do i put them in the washmachine with untreated stains.
I purchased these....they do not clean. There is zero foam.
Foaming is not a sign of how well something cleans. In fact when there is foam, the cleansing power is less as the foam is bubbles/air. When there is air the detergents can't reach the stains and they will not clean. But I agree the cleaning power of these sheets is less compared to many store-bought detergents. I use them for my own clothes that don't get very dirty. For kid's clothes and my cloth diapers, I use a different detergent.
@taskeen1102: You should also check Consumer Reports on their ratings of these detergent sheets. They rate cleaning power as mediocre to poor.
you don't want foam that means your using to much soap.
@@swampysanta5445 Even Speed Queen SERIES WASHERS, the TR3, TR5 WHICH I HAVE AND THE TR7 all recommended HE DETERGENTS. I tried Ariel inoo my TR5 SERIES WASHER and I noticed it has a suds-lock detection feature in which it when it attempts to go into the first spin it will pause, fill up with water,drain and again attempt to go into the first spin. Again sensing possible suds-lock it will fill with water again,drain and finally make it to the first spin and then the initial rinse cycle. After then it will continue with it's draining and then the final spin and complete the cycle with no further issues. Still I set for a second deep rinse just to be sure of everything rinsed. This is a smart feature not mentioned in these SPEED QUEEN TR5 SERIES and TR3, AND TR7 Washers. Surprisingly no error codes appeared when all this happened like the wash,rinse,and spin cycle lights never flashed 3 times like stated in the owner's manual. Also with these SPEED QUEEN WASHERS you get the best results by using the auto-fill feature. If you use a non-HE DETERGENT the Speed Queen instruction booklet say to use only one half the manufacturer's recommended amount.

Sorry not good enough the stains did not come out! That is jut sub par to me!!!!!
Indeed for my kids' clothes, it is not good enough but these are fine for my own clothes that don't get dirty when worn.
