I've had one of these for over a year now, bought at Wally world for $15. It works well enough to boil water and heat food. The bonus is the 1lb propane adapter! Worth every penny!
I've got a few different ones of the same style. They are great for compactness but really work best for just boiling water. I personally find, as you saw while trying to cook, that the pot holders are to small and flimsy for actually cooking without running the chance of losing your meal in the dirt. It is cheaper than the MSR version, which is nice. It is nice to have that propane to Lindahl adapter. You can gets these on AZ and there are a number of stoves that now include one.
Yes the case is not so good, Had another person comment to carry it in the pot or what ever you are going to cook or boil in, I think that is a good idea. maybe wrap it with an extra peace of cloth or bandanna for extra protection.
Amazon has some grill grate that have 2 a round and square or maybe Walmart you can put the small grate on top and the teeth of stove get in and makes it easier to put pots and skillet on it by giving it wither foot print
@Robertssurvivalsystems That stove is a good price e I agree I paid about 6 to 7 dollars just for the adapter so very good deal I may go get one just to have a extra
Wow... I know you were disappointed with the cookware, what a shame, it looked like a respectable little kit. That's what the reviews are for though! Thanks for ruining your eggs so the rest of us don't have to 👊 the sacrifice is appreciated 👍
How about some eggs with that butter 😂, sounds like a great price but I prefer a stove with a bit larger base and burner. But definitely great for survival.
That's funny. I've had mine for at least 2 years. Just pulled it out last week and used it first time today.
Lol, funny how stuff like that happens
Got one a few years ago and it still works great
Thank you that is good to know it will hold up over time.

Yeah that adaptor is nice, really helps save money on gas.
Good Morning 🌄
@@IdahoHillbilly good morning how are you?
@@Robertssurvivalsystems whew been a long day on the Mountain
@@IdahoHillbilly I hope nothing bad.
@@Robertssurvivalsystems Naw just taking care of fences
That's good to hear, I was cutting brush and dodging yellow Jackets all day.
Like cast iron a stainless steel frying pan must also be seasoned before use.
I have never had to do that before, however I will try it next time.
Thanks for sharing. I looked at the kit at Walmart but didn’t know how to hook it up. Have a great day.
Your welcome, all you have to do is screw on the adaptor then screw the whole thing onto the gas canister
@@Robertssurvivalsystems Thank you 🙏🏻
@@billiep4338 You are welcome.
Ya got to love these little stoves. They are quick and easy to set up. Very lite too.
@@LegionTacticoolCutlery yes they are very nice
9i dig a hole 2 inc or so deep to set the bottel in put littel dirt around to keep it stedy
@@evilmothericebearkillerbir6016 that would work. Thank you for the tip
Can't beat that price. For it to come with that adapter is a ➕️. I was thinking you good probably store it in a mess kit. Nice video......👍🤙
I would do that for sure, keep it safe that way.
It's a good idea to pre wash items that are new. There's manufacturing residue most of the time.
@@Countingtheday6 yes indeed, I had cleaned that one before hand
Line up the handle with one of the stove legs, just a little more stable.
@@RS4393 thank you for the tip
Neat stove. Stanley is lifetime warranty, return it. Probably should have washed it first. Looks like the stove got it WAY too hot!
It did indeed get to hot. I did clean it before use. The steel is too thin I think.

Yes I agree with you. I think that add on would be well worth getting
To and too are different words with different meanings.
I don’t even use the plastic boomerang thing I just sit can on ground might need a harder case to carry in
Yes the case is not so good, Had another person comment to carry it in the pot or what ever you are going to cook or boil in, I think that is a good idea. maybe wrap it with an extra peace of cloth or bandanna for extra protection.
You can put the "dish" inside the pan to double th thickness, but the fry pans always suck.
That's a very good idea thank you
I was looking at that kit, not for the stove but the stand, pouch, and adapter
I cant say I care for the pouch , but the adaptor is nice.
I bought the Soto a while back for a ridicules amount of money. Wish I knew about these back then.
@@LegionTacticoolCutlery my review was too late to save ya money
I bought the Soto stove and pot combo, and while the pots are good, the stove was a piece of junk.

I will have to get one and keep it in my car, Just in case. Nice price to boot.
@@jamessotherden5909 yeah its not bad. I like it
They make plastic lantern bases for 1 pound cans, 6 bucks
That would work very well, thank u for the tip.
Lantern base ?
That might work.
Nice score, the adaptors alone are now 15 to 20 bucks.
I did not know they cost that much, guess that is a better deal then I thought. Thank you.
@@Robertssurvivalsystems the small foldable tank stands have also gone up in price.
@@johnny30806 GIveing what is going on with the economy Im not surprised
This is the first time I seen one of these work on RUclips.
Do you mean that it was not used, or that it did not work right?
You mean it's the first time you _have_ seen one of these work.
Better to just make a 🔥 not steady for pan
Yeah I got to admit I'm not happy about how unstable it is.

Yes they are lol. Handy tables

Yeah I over did it with the butter lol.
⁉️ Whats 4 in 1 about that stove ...???
I'm gonna have to guess the number of items.
My guess: Support arms folded in / support arms folded out / Isobutane connection / Propane connection….that‘s 4.
@@ventilator2999 I think they might count that case too.
