Great that there is ONE e-collar video on RUclips that actually, clearly shows and explains the e-collar device. The Shield K9 video would be the one to watch after this one IMO.
Thank you so much. The number of scenarios in the manual were overwhelming and your “quick start” video made all the difference.
Thank you!!!!!! This is EXACTLY the kind of video we needed to see!!!! Now I feel comfortable and confident going into this new mode of training for my GSD!
I have had this color for over 2 years now and just timed how long it takes to charge. It was just under an hour. It is the best E collar I have ever used.
This was a great video! I was about to return it cause the manual made it seem so complicated! I’m also grateful for all the comments that mentioned problems with the manual!! I don’t feel like a dumb old lady now. I’m usually pretty tech savvy and the manual made me feel like I was cognitively impaired!!
This is the best instructions for this collar that I have ever seen. Thank you!
Great video. Very straightforward explanation and demo of the device and it’s features. The company should just toss the vague manual and point users to your video. Thanks for posting.
Thank you so much! This device is not easy to learn to use and your tutorial was a perfect training! Thank you, thank you!
Great video has helped me a lot. The manual was hard for me to understand. This video helped me so much to understand how it works. Thank you so much.
Just what I needed. Thank you!
Thank you! Concise instructions.
This helped. The instruction booklet didn't explain clearly that the receiver can be turned on and off after the control was switched on. I was goung mad trying to do it together.
great video. Thank you. Just one question... My Boost level seems to be set to 3 times the increase compared to 5 points higher which you mentioned. How do I adjust that?
Can the E-300 be set to use for two dogs? I have a second collar and unit that was given to me and I want to be able to have two dogs outside together, but am afraid that if use them both, the unit would just stim both dogs. Is that the case or is there a way to set the units to recognize a different "channel" for each?
Where can i get one of these in england please???
This collar revolutionised the life of a 4 yr old rescue English Pointer x I took on. She had never been trained, very strong hunting drive and knocked down the dog rack and escaped through the half open car window. Caught her 36 hrs later.
Even in the garden her recall was zilch. Using the vibrate she learned, at home, the recall. Out, it transitioned easily and within a couple of weeks she was trustworthy to be loose and have 100% recall.
As with any training tool, the handler needs to both learn to understand the uses and the principles of dog training.
I do know that my dog now has the time of her life on walks, running loose, following her hunting instincts, which, without the collar, would not have happened for many months of passive training, if ever.
Thank you for the great video
Why do you think it is that when I hit the red (boost) button, the screen does not show a number that is 5 over the number I set the dial to? The dial is not locked.
Brilliant video/tutorial - thank you! 👍🏼
I don't know if I am understanding. Is there a screen setting that tells the black s to be the momentary stimulation but if youre holding it down it will turn back on as continuous until you let go? or is that only for the red button, but 5 points higher?
To switch between the M/C setting, go to the back of the remote and press and hold the small black button that says m/c. You will see your screen switch and it will beep when you’ve switched the setting. It will have M/C for momentary (black) and continuous (red), M for just momentary, and C for Continuous (black) and 5 point boost (red)
Do you help me to unlock ( stimulation )10 second safety features
How much are they
Thank you!
Thank you so much!
Great video. Thanks!
Thank you
Does this unit work for stubborn 10-wk. Lab puppy biting (draws blood), growling, barking at our cats?
I would think so 12 weeks might be young but it's a good e-collar and has good amount of variation between stim levels, should check out shield K9 how to say no to puppy's it worked for me
Do you know where I can get one of these in the UK?
Awesome video. Perfect for my set-up. Thank you!
Thank you for your video. Very helpful! t
Good Video Jamie
Mine is beeping now instead of vibrating. What did I do and how can I bring it back to vibrating?
C Miller press the light button on the back and then immediately press the vibrate button. It will switch back then.
@@magiclarry7688 didnt work...
How did you get the custom shell for the remote?
You have to be a wholesaler to get them
I bought mine custom made from etsy for 64 usd
So helpful, thank you
My dog doesn’t do anything that this collar says it does. My first dog was trained on it and it works but the bigger dog laughs and acts worse when it gives him a boost.
Different dogs require different approaches or different tools. 👍
The T on my shocks my dog not vibrant I was told not to use the T do to it is to much of a shock for dogs
great video
Super informative! Thanks!!
Do you Think this is powerful enough for a male 85 pound ridgeback who is fairly docile but does get excited when he sees other dogs and I just want something to help me with his recall because when he is on leash he tends to be aggressive with dogs but awfully she’s so much better. So I would say he has a very high prey drive but at the same time he’s also very sensitive dog in many ways
TheZakkmylde I am sure it will be okay for your dog
I would check out Larry Krohn on youtube. He shows how size and a dog who is sensitive works on an ecollar
My directions say that the max is only to be used in a life or death situation. That tells me that it's fairly powerful. Go slow, take your time, and learn what strength your dog responds to. Better to train it to it heed a warning, than any other option.
Thank you ,
Thank you
