What they did with the new 'park' of Stormwind looks more like it was done in a hurry. But they do good work, overall. Legion looks great.

The Alliance is literally the opposite of a pot of Happy Flowers. Ever since WC 1, it has only known horror (even before WC 1 if you factor in the Dranei). SW itself fell at the end of WC1.
So noice how Blizzard recycles a villain song to discreetely make it clear who the bad boys are. Ty Blizzard, The Horde are the good guys, we got it since W3 anyway.

Well to be fair, it was the ENTIRE Horde which consisted of not only the dominant race of another planet(orcs) but also ogres, against one kingdom. By all rights it should have been a slaughter, but Doomhammer himself said that taking Stormwind was a close thing, as if they might have failed.
You know if they just hired a stonemason to chisel Wrynn's chin out of granite over the main gates, I think the Horde would be too worried about getting crushed to bother attacking Stormwind.
what edition of cataclysm soundtrack has this track? It has some elements of this track in Defenders of Azeroth, but not entire song... HALP PLS! Been looking for this for a long time :(
This just makes you want to command 1000 players vs 1000 horde players wearing full stormwind armour against each other head on in complete battle formations. That would be so epic...

Illidan was assigned a 10,000 year sentence for making a pact with Sargeras himself after becoming jealous of Malfurion's rising power as a druid, and the taking of his love, Tyrande. He gained demonic power and thus became a tool to Sargeras' plans of destruction and conquest, basically betraying his people, and all of Azeroth. Thus becoming known as the "Betrayer".
Due to your position as regional commander of the southern defense forces, Lord Terenas commands that you raise an outpost in the Hillsbrad foothills. It is rumored that Orcish marauders have been raiding coastal towns in the area, but whether these attacks are part of a greater Horde offensive is, as yet, unknown. Your outpost is to provide food and information for Alliance troops and, as such, should be a community consisting of at least four Farms. You must also construct a Barracks in order to safeguard the Hillsbrad operation.

You need stone for keeps to hold against his foul twilight spawns. With the resources diminishing thanks to Cataclysm, there's shortage of any of these. Do you think that old rivals that fight each other for years would be so eager to share what they hold? Do you expect that from savage, tribal Horde or the conservative, prejudiced Alliance?

Arthas' betrayal though was more due to the dark temptation the original Lich King was bestowing upon him. Garrosh as a very militant, but not incapable leader. His visions of the Horde closely relate to how the Orcs were when they first arrived from Draenor, brutal and unrelenting.

I did the Horde's quests in Stonetalon, and a good number of other Horde people try to stop the commander, and die trying. In the end, Hellscream himself arrives after the academy's destruction and executes the commander for the war crime. The Horde was not responsible for what happend in Stonetalon. A traitor was.
