Good morning nina, had a long long sleep this morning, it is still very warm and that means late evenings to enjoy....lovely, little cards , they could also make beautiful broches or dangle under a larger tag......We have a choir-rehearsal this afternoon, for tomorrownight we have a little concert with six other choirs. A warm activity, but every thing for the "arts""( ha ha), wish me luck. Love and hugs lenaxxx
Good morning Lena, glad you had a nice long sleep. It is still baking hot here too. Sam’s girlfriend Jodie is with us for the weekend so we have been enjoying more long evenings chatting outside. I hope all goes well with your concert and no one passes out! 🤞🤞🤞. They have forecast heavy downpours and thunderstorms next week, but not everywhere. I am keeping my fingers crossed we got some decent rain here to clear the air a bit and give the garden a good soaking. The temperatures are still predicted to be high early week, but cooling down a bit towards next weekend. Let me know how the concert goes and have a wonderful week. Love and hugs 💕 xxxxx
Thx Nina like the plaques a lot. You could put diamond glaze or something like that on them and make them into key rings, I think you have done something like that before. Have a great week.
Thanks Christie, yes I have done similar ones to these with painted Jenga pieces which I added dimensional glue to. Love the vintage vibe of these ones 💕
Wonderful use of your beautiful dried flowers. The emery board does a great job on the edges but I keep forgetting to use one. I still have a beautiful dried flower embellishment hanging from my purse from two years ago. Mom talks a blue streak every time I visit (if she is awake) but nothing she says makes any sense at all, she talks about family that doesn't exist and has not recognized me in a long time. It makes it difficult sometimes to not be emotional. I hope you weather is better and you are enjoying yourself. Thanks Nina!💕💕
Oh Debbie, it must be very difficult for you. I hope the virtual pet is still helping to keep her calm. It is still very hot here, although it’s getting cooler throughout the week and thunderstorms are on their way. Our garden desperately needs a good soaking as the grass is parched and the leaves are falling off the trees. it looks more like autumn. Thinking of you 💕 xo
What a wonderful idea to use up my lavender!!! and a reminder to cut some flowers from the garden to dry before the cold overnight weather starts! When you brought out the little wooden pieces, I thought they were tongue depressors (which I have a whole bunch, don't know why!) so instead of buying the little ones, I will give it a try with the depressors and see how that works out. Thanks for the wonderful idea and the reminder to get some flowers to dry!
Thank you so much Nina, I really really enjoyed watching you create these amazing and stunning little plagues, they’re so cute and adorable too. And I really could see these as bookmarks, if you added some ribbon from the bulb pin. Or hung up on drawer handles, say herbs or something similar. Please stay safe and well too. Thank you so much for another wonderful video. I always look forward to seeing you on Sunday’s. xxx Mags
Looooove!! Using them as necklace pendants would be lovely too! Now I’ve got to go make a bunch of them!! I think I might try doing some from the flowers that are drying from my father’s funeral. That would be a great way to preserve them! 🥰
I just love these!! 😍 Thanks for sharing & suggesting this new video 😁 I’ll post in the Fb group when I get some made. I think I’ll leave some to just glue onto a page or project.
I think these are precious. I don't have the wooden discs nor do I have dried flowers. But I had already decided before you shared your wonderful tip to use Tag board or chipboard or whatever you call a cereal box and to use my smallest fussy cut flowers. But I also thought I would try painting flowers on and see how that works. It is a lovely idea. I think they would be very nice attached to the top of the tag. And if you use the eyelet at top and bottom they could also be used on the spine of your Journal. Especially nice on a nature Journal
Hello Judie, I love that these have given you the inspiration to improvise with your fussy cut flowers. I think hand painting them will look gorgeous. Happy Creating 💕🌼🌼🌼
What a gorgeous idea , I have some of those in my stash and never know what to do with them , must press some flowers first , thanks Nina for your inspiration,,,xxxx 🌷🌸💗
They are beautiful, Nina. Enjoyed doing them but need more practice. Thanks for sharing your brilliant ideas with you channel pals. I have those light bulb pins and they are sooooo cute. x
