Volkswagen Golf mk4 headlight switch removal and install

In this short video, I show how to replace the headlight switch on a 2001 Volkswagen Golf mk4. This same process will work on the Jetta and new Beetle. This is a very simple process that only takes a few minutes. I chose to replace the standard switch with a European headlight switch. The VW part number is 1C0941531A20H and the Vemo part number is V10-73-0113.

The side marker lights should illuminate when you turn the switch to the city light position.
