Since the 1999 Family Values tour for Me. I saw Buckethead play with Primus at the Honda Center in Anaheim that 1st time. I've seen him live 3 times since!! Big B is a Prodigy but what makes him so special is How Humble he is!!!
KFC does NOT sponsor him. However, they put out a Tweet years ago saying that they LOVE Buckethead; people flood their locations when he comes to town.
Buckethead is probably the best guitar player in history. He has recorded over 400 solo albums, worked with at least 80 other artists/groups, composed and performed the soundtrack of Mortal Kombat, and toured with Primus and was with Guns 'n Roses for four years. He's 6 ft 8, robot dances, moonwalks, and gives out toys to the folks in the front row. He worked with Snoop Dogg and Bootsie Collins in the soundtrack for Undercova Brother - there is a great video with Big B doing a cameo. I've seen him 22 times. He never shows his face or talks while in character. Artists respect him so much that they do not take photos of him unmasked and bucketless. He is one of the most interesting composers/entertainers ever. I'd recommend a couple of his performances with Primus, as well Buckethead Dueling Banjos live in Rio while he was in Guns 'n Roses. Your reaction was priceless.
He ain't human, man i can't imagine how it's gonna be when he's gone. I'm sure he would never be forgotten tho, in 100 years i bet my ass that he would still be remembered, the dude can play/cover anything he wants
I can confirm all of what was said. Buckethead is easily one of the best to play guitar. I saw him a few years ago in a tiny little venue in Syracuse and as expected the little trinkets of toys he picks up from the local dollar stores before each gig came out and we brought home some glow in the dark stars that still hang up on my kids ceiling. This kid is now 10 and plays guitar himself, just had a concert for friends and family at a church today. He had to be told to change out of his Metallica shirt cause it was a church setting but my dude is big time into metal and Buckethead is one of our heroes. This is one of them though that you can meet, he's a great human being.
I'm 56 listened to what I perceive to be the best guitarists out there. In my little corner of the world he's hands down the best player I've ever seen or heard. Lanky dude at 6'7" (i do believe) and never says a word. His music collection is vast, and i do mean vast. Even if you don't react to his music on your channel don't cheat yourself and not listen to his material. This guy's ability to tell stories via that guitar of his without saying a word is amazing. Subbed. More Buckethead please!
Glad buckethead is getting love recently. Be prepared if going down the buckethead rabbit hole, he plays all types of music. But he's one of the best for a reason! Awesome channel btw keep it up!!!!
This man is the GOAT. Over 350 albums of original material spanning everything from metal to easy listening and practically anything in between. He's not in it for the fame or fortune, he just wants to make music. I could easily recommend 200+ excellent tracks of his. There's nobody else who even comes close.
Buckethead = My musical religion. Of course I own his signature Les Paul guitar that I bought in 2011. He has released at least 370 records. Yes, 370 not 37.
I'll give you $200 for the Les Paul 😂 But seriously Buckethead's music quite literally made the hardest period of my life bareable. If I hadn't discovered his music I think these last few years would have been significantly tougher that they were. He's the reason I've picked up the guitar and I'm privileged to have been alive during his lifetime to be able to experience him 🙏🏼
He's wore a mask an bucket since is was 19yrs-20 yrs old. He is now in his early 50s An still unknown. He is painfully shy So a friend suggested a mask an the bucket just happen 😄 His music saved my life!!!!

Welcome to the Brotherhood, Cam. Buckethead has over 300 studio albums of original compositions. Hes a modern day Mozart that can pretty much invoke any emotion with his music. A humble dude who wears the bucket and mask to help combat his stage fright. He is the best guitar player ive ever seen and would be my choice if I could only pick one artist to listen to for the rest of my life. A few of my favorites The Moltrail Part 2 Siege Engine Sonar Rainbow Celery Hold Me Forever The Closed Triptych Hope you keep exploring BH
He is a cutie pie, sweet, funny, extremely talented. Loves chickens, A Heart Throb. But I guess IM partial. Love his work. Dances, robotics, throws things to people. Extremely nice, and battles a heart ptoblem Gotta love him.😊❤
Dude played the frickin' WHEELS off that guitar, tore the fur off it, smashed it. That thing was wobbling around on bare rims, not an ounce of fur left on it, and crushed to the beejeezus. Brian Patrick Carroll is the artist and he created "Buckethead" back in the late 1980's, '89 I think.
reminds me of your first time hearing fear of the dark. you were shooketh man. i love when people listen to music that i normally wouldnt expect them to listen to. buckethead was my favourite guitarist growing up🤘🏻
Buckethead is one of the most technical/skilled guitarists out there. Another guitarist who is on the same level is Steve Ouimette. You gotta check out Steve Ouimette’s cover of ‘Devil Went Down To Georgia.’ As much as I love Charlie Daniels I gotta admit that Steve’s version is the best that I’ve heard.
Idk man, devil went down to Georgia was pretty killer but I don't seem to find all that much material from him. Not to mention 700 albums. Guthrie Govan is technically above just about anyone but he doesn't move me like Buckethead
Hey, like your vid. I've heard he wrote this song over 10 yrs ago, in remembrance of his Aunt Suzie. I remember seeing footage of him yrs ago. I just started listening to his music.
He released album number 419 yesterday in his Pikes series (short 30-minute long albums). There are hundreds of albums and thousands of songs to listen to. He is your/everyone’s favourite guitarist’s favourite guitarist. The king at the top of the pile. He is all I listen to.
He truly is I play and he just blows me away. It’s physically not possible without having large hands but even at that. The talent isn’t even in this universe. The aliens in the rest of the universe knows the meaning of life and all that shit but can’t figure out how the hell bucket plays guitar like that.
Everyone says Eddie Van Halen is the Greatest Rock Guitar Player in History! I feel that Buckethead at the very least Ties Eddie, and probably occupies the Top Spot by himself! Just my opinion folks!
buckethead is one of the best concerts ive ever seen and its just one dude murdering a guitar for 2 and a half hours with a drum machine playing backup lol
I see you loving that guitar and saying you need suggestions. Check out Stevie Ray Vaughan Texas Flood Live at the El Mocambo. Basically the electric blues version of this caliber of performance.
been listening to Bucket head for years, maybe decades at this point, He started with a KFC bucket but got called out by them for copy rite BS, so he then went to a plain white bucket... don't thinks hes getting any kickbacks from KFC these days.. You can find his real identity if you search hard enough.. cool dude, amazing musician...
Bucket, Face mask and hair keep Brian from anxiety... Its his stage gimmick. He plaid for Guns N Roses, and was asked to play for Ozzy and Red Hot Chili Peppers, but didnt like their style.
His name is Brian Carroll and no he doesn't speak or eat KFC. I believe he was raised in a chicken coop not really sure. As you can tell Brian isn't really that sociable. I know his KFC bucket actually means Kentucky Funeral Chicken. Age 54 i believe. Over 402 songs.
cam we need you to buy a guitar and start learning how to play. youre clearly interested in it man. theres no denying it. cant wait to hear your first song
Buckethead has been one of my faves for over 20 years. He makes that guitar sing, and you feel and travel a journey with him.
Word! 👌
He's the GOAT. No question about it.

They did try to sue him and they came to a compromise. That's why he wore a plain white bucket for a while.
@Abraided if thats true then whoever decided that deserves to be deaf and blind lol
And he hand out gifts and toys to his fans at his live concert. He is also timid, humble and generous. Love Buckethead

I love how Buckethead (Brian) is Soo good that even Dave mustaine admits to be lesser than him.
I have seen him do interviews with puppets. That's his form of communication
He did an interview as Brian on his therapists podcast. Easy to find. Very interesting and Brian comes across very, very well. As shy as you’d expect

And bought him his first guitar
It comes straight from his soul. No wonder it's such an incredible masterpiece. The best ever from Buckethead IMO
