This is so true. I'm a theatre director and I'm always asking actors to understand that the body doesn't k ow the difference and they need to make sure they don't carry trauma while using their bodies to tell stories.

Wow! The first person I have heard tell the truth about being an actor, describing herself as a "vessel." Because that is exactly what you become when you play the roles that they play. The body doesn't know you are just acting because the emotions you are asked to exhibit are real and effect you as if what you are doing is real. She sure nailed it right on the head. And making sure you get the help you must have is key. Acting is a job filled with demonic entities which you are allowing to come in and out, hopefully, of you as the vessel.

Playing emotionally draining characters is taxing on the body mentally, physically and emotionally- let alone spiritually. Some people stay in the energy of the character and it can lead to destructive behaviors. That’s what she saying 💕

Healthcare has a similar emotional demand. In a span of 15 min, you can have a stabbing of a pregnant mother you 'll have to declare both mother and baby dead and tell husband, then 5 min later be all smiles for the next patient. You don't get to take a min and cry. No one cares. Sometimes I cry in my sleep because that's the only time I have to do so. I see why people burnout in this industry. It's hard. The numb ones make it. The sensitive ones don't. But sensitivity is what makes you good at this. Quite a conundrum.
