- Grimmjow Jaegerjaquez is undoubtedly one of the most popular Bleach characters out there, who is known for his vibrant blue hair, sadistic attitude, and for having an intense rivalry with Ichigo Kurosaki. The question that is brought up frequently is, just how strong is Grimmjow?
Although Grimmjow was far from being the strongest Espada during the Hueco Mundo arc, he eventually became so powerful to the point that Ichigo viewed him as a threat, Kenpachi wanted to challenge him, and even the 3rd Espada, Tier Harribel, wanted no problems with him.
In this video, we go over the Hueco Mundo arc, the Quincy War Arc, and even the novel- Can't Fear Your Own World, to properly assess Grimmjow's overall power in comparison to his fellow Espada and other Bleach characters.

To clear up some misconceptions-
1. I NEVER claimed Yhwach was multiversal, all I said was that this new lore brings about a new perspective for the series and I even said it's very vague. Even if he was going to collapse and reform all of these universes, it'd be moreso multiversal reality warping/hax rather than raw power, but it's still very impressive. I will go more into depth on this scaling in the future.
2. Post-Training Ichigo was stated to have regained his level of power (Dangai) that he used to defeat Aizen and got even stronger. This was before he even used his True Bankai or his Merged Hollow Form. Not to mention even heavily sealed chair Aizen became more powerful than Butterfly Monster Aizen. He was even able to affect Yhwach momentarily. Therefore, if Grimmjow is comparable to Ichigo and is right up there with the top Sternritters, he would, in fact, be stronger than Dangai Ichigo.

3. Vasto Lorde and Ulquiorra are fodder in the TYBWA. Kenpachi, who faced off against Yammy, sensed that Grimmjow was the strongest of the current Espada who
got stronger over several years. I don't know why people still hold these characters to such a high pedestal when they clearly got surpassed.
4. The fact early Hueco Mundo arc characters have LS-FTL+ attacks, means that characters who can react to and combat against it have combat FTL speeds.
It's not hard to grasp. Even lieutenants like Nanao could react to Yhwach's Auschwalen light. There's many more statements and feats that prove they are FTL, but you guys get the gist of it.
5. The reason these top tier characters are at least multi-planetary is because Yamamoto while holding back was going to destroy the entire soul society, which is parallel to the size of the Earth and has its own Star, which would easily make the feat far beyond just planetary. Grimmjow, Kenpachi, and Ichigo would scale from this, obviously. Not to mention even Vasto Lorde Ichigo during Hellverse could have wiped out Hell which should be comparable in size, if not larger than the Soul Society.

I personally don’t get why everyone treats Ichigo and Grimmjow getting ‘beat’ by Askin as an actual feat. Askin has a cheatsy power to become immune to energy based attacks, as well as screwing with other people’s immunity levels. That’s not a fight. That’s making his opponents too sick to fight.
I also thought that was the case with Renji and Uryu vs Szayel. Szayel used his fracciones to heal and build a machine to render Renji and Uryu's power useless
Even if Ichigo got “beat” by Askin it would just be considered an outlier. In Ichigo’s battle with Yhwach he displays better feats and said feats are consistent as they are supported by statements and backed up statements. Also it’s important to consider that Ichigo overcame Askin’s ability in a short time by himself while Grimjow needed to be healed and needed outside help to do the same thing. Remember when God Goku got pierced by a laser? People just use it to lowball characters.

Grimmjow should’ve had a stronger resurrecion as Ichigo had a huge powerup to the hollow mask. And Grimmjow was stronger than Ichigo at the beginning.

To be fair, the first time Ichigo fought Grimmjow in bankai, he was also fighting to keep control of himself, so he wasn't exactly stable. The next time they fought, the mask put him well above Grimmjows level, but he was also inexperienced with using it and had a very short time limit. Round three, he had practically perfected the hollowfication and how to use it at that point and was completely stable. Its not at all plot armor, its just people seem to forget to look at the entire context behind the fights.

Starrk is the most underestimated character in bleach.
He's heavily overshadowed by the likes of ulqioraa despite showing potential to defeat him with relative ease.

He's always been such an amazing character in both design and writing, I really do wish that Grimmjow became a Vegeta type rival after the Hueco Mundo Arc.
Loved the video but I have to give one criticism: I feel like you beat around the bush too much in the early half of the video. I know there’s a lot of downplayers and a lot of people who refuse to listen to logic in this “community” but I do think you went a bit overboard, especially in a video that’s well over 10 minutes. Yo chuck, German here. The attacks that uryu uses in the very first arc are called " licht Pfeil" which means light arrow. It's also called that in the Japanese Manga.

Isn't it "holy arrow"? The majority of Quincy called it Heilig Pfeil.
If translated 1:1 "Licht Pfeil" really means "Light Arrow" but you could say its "Heiliger Pfeil" (English: Holy Arrow"), since light and holy are strongly connected by the bible which also fits to Yhwach bc his overall character theme (in terms of abilities and his name) is based of the bible. For example: "All-Mighty" is what God is stated to be by the bible and how we interpret it as humans.

Man I would love more people to do Super Robot feat's outside the normal mech channels. Having different perspectives/views is always nice. Like Many people always forget in the last bit they use a portability altering missiles to bypass the defenses of a foe for direct damage. I remember SethTheProgrammer many times only briefly mention ElderGod Demonbane in his videos but it flew over most peoples heads.
But Chuck, you forgot the title scale. Bleach isn't a very powerful item in anime, it's just a laundry item, but other anime like Dragon Ball, which has the wish granting orbs themselves as the title proves how powerful the show it smh and Naruto on another hand is the main character so I think Bleach stands no chance. I don't think a bottle of bleach can beat Naruto at full strength. I doubt that a bottle of bleach can even break the sound barrier, much less light speed. God it's like you don't do any research on titles smh

Grimmjows my favorite Espada and one of my favorite characters in bleach. Hes so clean.
16:28 toriko has my favorite answer to the problem of "they're planetary but don't destroy planets" by making the attacks massive, basically covering the entire planet. Its a great way to demonstrate the power and scale of the attacks while not actually having to destroy a planet and I wish more anime and manga used this format. Plus it also just looks really raw.

Grimmjow has cannibalized other Hollows as the spiritual panther.
I mean, that's something that literally any non-arrancar hollow that wouldn't have difficulty against an unseated shinigami does. Humans and pluses just don't give enough power to sustain a strong normal hollow or any menos or stronger.
Grimmjow was going around eating Adjuchas and Vasto Lordes.
Pretty sure one of the main reasons Ichigo got smashed so hard in the first few fights is because his Soul badge was suppressing his reaitsu somewhat without his knowledge, which was one of the plot lines in the Fullbring Arc. I mean he probably wouldve still lost but probably not as badly. As he definitely didnt seem as strong as he was when he fought against Byakuya

Honestly characters like Grimmjow And Ichigo we’re lightspeed at that time based off of the fact that characters like yoruichi and soi fon can react to light speed attacks back at the end of the soul Society arch (the menos light saving thing at aizens escape) Vasto lorde is many times faster than light if you base it off of the fact that Ulquiorra’s reaction speed is easily higher with each form/ already faster than yoruichi and soi fon at that time

@@umu-8985 I think he's ok with normal power scaling but if it's too explain crazy powerful characters or parts we do not understand and they find evidence, nux seems to disagree on it.
