Urahara STOMPS here, especially with bankai, there's a reason he is feared by both main villains in the verse, with prep time he's unstoppable, he has too much utilities in his tool kit, he's weaker definitely but I believe he would find a way to win

You all are forgetting that azien feared kisuke during the turn back the pendulum ark. Which predates all of bleach. The visards all ganged up and attacked him and tessi and they took them all out. Kisuke and ishin were royals. There raw power had them dwarfing Byaukya. And byaukya a man who respects power to the utmost. Never once speaks to any of them as if they are below him. And this guy even attempted to call kenpachi below him😂. I believe azien knew that kisuke was stronger when he was young and viewed him as potential equal or close towards the end. But the intelligence of kisuke levels the playing field. The hoygoku is just a cheat code.

I believe what Aizen may have meant by "I have surpassed you" is that his power had gotten to such a level that he believed no plan Kisuke came up with could stop him. My 2 cents anyways. Awesome video as always.

I believe what Aizen means by his surpassing of Kisuke is that he's now so strong that none of Kisuke's strategies or tricks would work against him anymore
Y’all actually kinda downplayed Urahara’s Bankai. His Bankai is literally Rewriting Reality within a large perimeter. Basically, big brain Limited Strength of the Author which is terrifying.
@@mas849185ify Well, Ulquiorra faced off against Vasto Lord Ichigo ( which is the same form he masters at the end of bleach against Yawtch ) and kinda got fucked. But he was still able to keep up with Vasto speed wise for a while. I really don't think Urahara could have managed that. With Ulqi's insane regeneration and power in that form, he has a lot more mistakes in the matchup he can do compared to one wrong move from Urahara. IMO as insanely smart and powerful as Urahara is, i think he's better matched up against enemies who rely on OP complicated abilities that Urahara is able to figure out and create an opening compared to just raw power, regeneration and speed.

Urahara’s Bankai is like a patchwork version of Trafalgar Law’s Room ability to reconstruct and configure his surroundings into whatever he wishes.. it’s not just limited to reconstructing himself and amping his own strength / abilities. His Bankai alone gives him the win my dude.
I doubt the Result, at least partially. This video is downplaying some of the most Powerful Captains, who are Top-Tier in their Time. Kisuke and Yoruichi were litrally presented as 'much bigger versions' of existing Captains: Mayuri-chan and What-was-her-name. I still cannot wrap my head around this 'Yammys Cero could just killed Yourichi'-Statement. Sorry, cant wrap my head around it; isnt that, if anything, an argument against the Databooks?
I cannot even imagine how powerfull Ulquiorra's Beyond Resurrección would be. I mean, the difference between his first and second releases is already insane, imagine with a Hogyoku...

You're assuming Ulquiorra even gets to his second form. He only even used it because he was trying to make Ichigo despair etc. He'll begin in base, and one sword exchange would be enough to give Urahara a chance to put the things on his wrists. Anyway, that's only one of Urahara's plans. He would have countless more that were specifically designed to take down arrancar.

He's strong sure, but massively overrated. He's not the most powerful Espada, nor the 2nd. It's absolutely laughable to believe that Aizen doesn't know about his release. It goes against everything we know about Aizen as a character to not know about his own subordinates powers. I mean, he literally granted them their arrancar abilities with the Hogyoku lol.
@@randumo24 LMFAO no other espada matched him besides Yammy maybe in terms of brute force and what's funny about that too is he sacrificed power for more regen meaning he technically could have been even stronger. Aizen didn't even care about Starrk taking the L. He wasn't impressed by him, yet was very impressed by ichigo's reiatsu which was possibly weaker in hollow mask form compared to the actual hollowfied form (which Ulquiorra was matching in the hell movie). Not only that, but Ulquiorra had his tattoo straight up disappear upon second release. Literally never happened with any other espada. That's the most obvious sign that he was probably number one. It also makes sense to have hollow ichigo fight the number one espada narrative wise to have it clearly demonstrate how hollow ichigo stands above all other hollows.
For the Aizen quote, I feel he means they would beat him but for different reasons. He believes Yamamoto would overpower him eventually through raw power, and Urahara would beat him through being able to hold out until he springs one of his plans (I.E making Aizen blow himself up.) So with him saying he finally surpassed Urahara, he means that Urahara's tricks ultimately can't defeat him since he can heal.
Aizen specifically says "our power is no longer equal" Tough to imply he doesn't mean power. He specifically mentions how Urahara being smarter than him is irrelevant now that their abilities and power arent relative anymore. So its clearly not about intelligence, he both says "power" and draws a distinction between when his intelligence DID matter, when it no longer does (because Aizen now dwarfs him in power. When they used to be equal)

This got me thinking, do you think Ulquiorra would have followed Kisuke if he found him before Aizen? Like Kisuke was looking around Hueco Mundo and managed to convince Cifer to follow him like a lost puppy. I just really like the idea of Urahara having a new house cleaner that he can pay in tea.
Yooooo, this is literally the mindset I have for like a third of the Espada. Most of them were never loyal to Aizen or his ideology but his strength and dominion over them. And a good chunk of them are evil bastatds in their own right . But I always wonder what would've happened if characters like Starrk, Ulquiorra, or Harribel met and allied themselves with some of the more open minded members of the Soul Society. It would've been such a nice thing to see.

As you have said, Kisuke isn't the strongest in terms of raw power but his intellect of how he uses everything is his overall strength, basically like the weird Batman of Bleach.
25:03. I think Aizen means that Urahara was in the list of who he considered a threat, not in just the terms of power but threat, or someone who could planblock him. Zaraki, Unohana, and Yamamoto were physical threats, but Urahara is a plan foiler. But after he fuses with the hogyokyu, his power increases by a dimension, and his ego by a few hundred dimensions. Therefore he decided that Urahara is no longer on the list of threats, i.e. surpassed whatever Urahara throws at him.
The Aizen surpassing kisuke with the hogyokuo statement had to be power related. If he was referring to intelligence it doesn’t add up, he and urahara were already close in intellect and that means that the hogyokuo failed to make him intelligent enough to see through kisukes traps and I’m not even sure if it boosts intelligence. Kisuke was also able to react to aizen casually before he transformed all the way and we know spirit energy has to be relative if not superior to react to someone let alone counter them. We’ve seen plenty of characters get one shotted because they weren’t on a relative power scale to react. Not saying kisuke was stronger but he had to be somewhere close to aizen level. Also he casually fought yami and wonderweiss, there was no evidence that he was struggling. And he also wouldn’t be able to cancel yami’s attack if he didn’t have superior or relative spirit energy. Again we’ve seen countless one shots because characters weren’t strong enough to counter or defend. Also Aizen’s powers were rivaled by the likes of Yamamoto so that’s another contradictory statement seeing how he refused fighting head captain head up. Again kisuke isn’t as strong as pre hogyokuo aizen but he has to be somewhere close beneath him.

I think his Bankai fits him well. He's a strategist and benhime allows him to strengthen any strat he already has or to counter and hole in his strats if their are any, simple as that.

Something that has always been on my mind is how strong is Gin because Aizen cut down Harribel for not being as strong as he thought and he didn’t do the same to Gin.

Every argument to put Ulquiorra over Stark is based on if and if not. Yami is the strongest and, then the countdown goes from 1 to 9 as stated by Yami(not brought up in this video because so hell bent on putting Ulquiorra at top by stating ifs and if nots) Just because Aizen sent him more on missions proves him to be the strongest? If that is the case then Renji is the strongest captain(because he has attained bankai and is shown more than any other captain in the series). Also. What Urahara did against Aizen post hogyoku transformation was nothing, but the debaters didn't mention this that Ulquiorra was getting his shit beaten by Vasto Lorde Ichigo and did not land one single attack, literally one single attack on him. A much much stronger Hogyoku fused Aizen being atleast damaged or attacked is a much greater feat than a much weaker Ulquiorra second release who got his ass thrashed by Vasto Lorde Ichigo. Yet he's being hyped up because Yamamoto hyped up Ichigo who smoked Ulquiorra, but according to Clyde Ulquiorra was on equal footing with Ichigo. Crazy deductions lmao.
Yeah this whole argument is base off a movie. which isn't even the same timeline as the manga/ anime. Stark was able to hold his own against Shunsui and Jūshirō. Who were able to survive attack from the head captain who more powerful than base Aizen.

The thing about Stark is that he is stated as being able to fire an infinite amount of Ceros. Which can only mean his recovery speed is ridiculous and outpaces the cost of a cero. In other words, he is the worst possible opponent to face in a battle of attrition. Even if his destructive power isn't the strongest, he could wear you down at his leisure. Every second the fight goes on, his advantage grows as his opponent tires. Which means even opponents like Yamamoto could become vulnerable. You know, if Stark survives long enough and his prey doesn't escape or get help.

The fact that Urahara was able to even touch Aizen and surprise him (pre silver surfer form) is enough for me to put him above Ulquiorra. Wether Aizen is aware of Ulquiorra’s 2nd release to me irrelevant. As you pointed out the unmasked data-book still calls Yammy the strongest purely off of power. Then Gin later remarks those who followed Aizen only did so not because of his Zanpaktou. But his strength which would include 0 Yammy. And this is base Aizen which casually solo’d the entire gotei with utter ease. Max power or not they still dealt with the top 3 Espada right beforehand.
I would think Urahara would win because Of the sheer amount of intelligence he displayed you up anime and manga. Also how they only came to fight Aizen and not any of the Espara but it could go either way

I've heard of an argument that said 2nd form ulquiorra is somewhat implied to be even above 0, as there isn't even a number on him, which implies he's off of the espada scaling if urahara puts the wrist band on ulquiorra, would he just remove his own arms while urahara was talking about it?

Urahara's bankai to deconstruct anything it touches would literally hard counter Ulquiorras regeneration even though Ulquiorra is the strongest Espada. Or maybe it's that Ulquiorras regeneration is a hard counter to Urahara's bankai to deconstruct? I guess it's really up to the author - Kubo.
We don't see the bankai for long, and what we see is a bit strange. If it can rewrite reality freely, then he could just void his opponents heart and kill them instantly. Instead he disables his opponents arm and uses it to reconstruct his eyes, then amps himself before doing the portal thing. If I had to guess the limits, it would probably be that he can't outright kill an opponent, only alter their physical body, meaning he can't kill Ulkiboy with it outright and would need to create something that could kill him. At which point if you ask me, he just isn't in the same ballpark of power to defeat a second release espada. I mean his plan with his bankai was to get the help of a second release espada.
From what I saw I can describe Urahara's bankai like the ability of Overhaul from Mha that is restructuring things and that could mean that even if Kisuke doesn't kill him he can restructure Ulquiora
This is a really tough call. Urahara fighting empowered Aizen clearly shows his battle capability but Ulquiorra broke the scales when he released his second Resureccion. Tough battle to call. I'm going for Ulquiorra though. Badass from beginning to end.
Ulquiorra didn't really break any scales though. He was still just stronger than Bankai Ichigo, and he got absolutely wrecked by Vasto Lorde Ichigo. He may not have gotten vaporized by the attack that killed him, but the "fight" between the two if you can even call it that, was one of the most one-sided beatdowns in the entire series. Ulquiorra's 2nd release being super strong is predicated on the absolutely ridiculous notion that Aizen doesn't actually know about his 2nd release. Just because Ulquiorra thinks he doesn't know doesn't mean that it doesn't completely go against everything we know about Aizen for him not to know.

Btw bankai ichigo beat byakuya bankai and improved alot by then. I like the match up and i agree with the results. i do think ulquiorra would win. it just that Urahara is so smart and his kit of abilities is so versatile he always has a chance of winning lol.

@@Chuck Weirdest thing about Kisuke is his Biiggest Feat literally being forgotten: Yugeki Byakurai (Modified Kido). I scale Shikai Aizen and Vasto Lorde to Moon-Level but it really doesnt matter who is what, cause you cant argue with reality: Aizen just stood there, smug, a red laserbeam pierced him fully and he looked behind and said smuggly "Oh, Mr. Handsome aka Kisuke Urahara, nice to re-meet yoouuu" AND EVERYONE FORGOTTTT
Lmao. Urahara takes this and it's not even close. Urahara fought a decent solo fight vs hogyoku Aizen, even making Aizen himself admit that if he didn't have hogyoku, he would've died. And the same base Aizen was supposed to be much more powerful than all espada, including Ulquiorra. That's the only thing that needs to be considered here. Urahara is too fast, and his hax is too powerfulabd versatile.
That base Aizen was, by his own admission, not trying in the slightest; and was recklessly not even on guard anymore. He also wasn't using Kyoka Suigetsu and Urahara also had backup from Isshin and Yoruichi, who herself has special anti-hierro armor. And even all of that together did squat to Aizen and he then oneshotted all of them.

Urahara would place those cuffs on ulquiorra and he'd quite literally just die to put it simply. I like ulquiorra but urahara's kido is simply an easy win. He doesn't need his zanpakuto in this fight.

The specific conditions for Urahara's wrist-sealing Kido to be performed are incredibly precise and not something he ever would have ordinarily been able to use in conventional battle - again; the only reason he even managed to use it was because Aizen was being MASSIVELY arrogant. Ulquiorra would never let himself fall into that; he's far too analytical and on guard. Don't get ME wrong; if Urahara managed to get Ulquiorra with it then absolutely he would win by the nature of its hax. I just don't think Urahara would manage to pull it off.
You don't get the whole point tho. It's not a matter of pre transcendent Aizen being more cunning and careful, NO. It's a matter of FACT, that IF Shikai Aizen or even Yamamoto had indeed taken that hit, they would 100% die to their own reiatsu detonating inside them which is unavoidable UNLESS you attain immortality(which Aizen had already at that point). Aizen not being serious doesn't take anything away from the 3 that were fighting him, and at that point, no 3 espada could take 1 hit from him anyway lol he ruled over them in a weaker form than that. side note, literally 1 of them was nerfed(Ishin), the other was out of shape and had grown weaker(Yoruichi), and the 3rd(Urahara) didn't even whip out his bankai because he was playing the long game. my point here is that, Ulquiorra "hiding" his power and potentially being on par or above Shikai Aizen in 2nd release still doesn't matter because the same argument can be made for the 3 he fought after evolving. And knowing Ulquiorra, he would 100% look down on Urahara and take his normal looking attack lightly. Don't forget the rules of the argument here, "the narrative/portrayal is taken into account". With that in mind, Ulquiorra wouldn't even go into his 1st release form let alone 2nd release, AND Urahara only needs to tag him once. It is impossible for Ulqiourra to evade EVERY attack that comes his way lmao, Urahara is not base bankai Ichigo who hesitates to kill and has no "resolve" nor is he sadistic and arrogant like Ulquiorra, if he sees a chance he's taking it. Battle experience and knowing your limits is also important, even if just a bit. We all love Ulquiorra's character and know just how powerful he is, but the fact it that the only way he would stomp Urahara is if, for some reason Urahara underestimates him because he is ranked 4th and so decides not to use one of his trump cards, and for some other reason Ulquiorra immediately goes into 2nd release form and quickly creates that absurdly powerful spear and kills Urahara. Which is very unrealistic considering this argument is based on the narrative of the story and not just some Death Battle type match up. Urahara vs Ulquiorra would logically end in a few seconds, with Urahara taking the Win at least 7 times out of 10.
Wouldn't it make the most sense that Aizen meant that Urahara doesn't have any way of defeating him now, not because he was stronger then him before but because he could still win with his intelligence and different techniques? Because it's obvious that he was physically stronger then Urahara and his intelligence didn't increase with the hogioku so I think this explanation makes the most sense.
Byakkuya and kenpachi barely looked like they had to try against yammy. They were both pushed by weaker espada prior to that. There was very little break between the fights as well. Idk... i refuse to buy that yammy at full power was even that powerful. Maybe powerful in the sense that a battering ram can do a lot of damage if you stand still and let it hit you. But he is so bulky that i think his power doesn't get utilized well. It was also stated that a captain would be swinging a zanpakuto the size of a skyscraper if it wasn't kept in check. Yammy might be the hollow equivalent where he has massive amounts of power but cannot use it worth a shit.
I think Kisuke wins pretty clearly tbh, especially if we’re counting his Bankai. I know we’re not scaling him post time skip but the mere fact that Yhwach thinks of Kisuke as one of the 5 war threats is beyond impressive. To even put him in the same category as Kenpachi, Aizen, Ichibe, and Ichigo is incredible. We know he’s not referring to his raw power as well, but I think we’re still underrating exactly how smart Urahara is. He wipes imo
Aight i listened to your explanation a few times, and I get that a gran rey cero is within a comparable power range to a 1-4th Espada's release, but I feel like there's really not enough to grasp onto to throw around multiplier estimates like x10 or x100

This was analyzed very well. I agree with the others that Aizen surpasses Urahara in a way that caused Urahara's strategies to be moot. If the newest release from the mobile game for Ulquiorra was a factor I don't know if Urahara's bankai would be enough (despite how insane it is). That would be a really badass fight in itself. Also, remember Ulquiorra lacked a real drive during the fight with Ichigo and basically just gave up. If he had the resolve Ichigo did, who knows what he could have done. On the flip side, he was such a masterful fighter because he didn't let emotion control him. Once he "found his heart" at the end of the battle with Ichigo, I'm curious what that would have translated into if he hadn't died and brought that new awareness into the next battle.
Aye Just curious if kisuke was able to somehow manage to get those wrist cuffs on ulquiorra (in his 2nd released state) wouldn’t he be able to just slice off his arms & regenerate new ones to avoid the Insta kill?

Cuz those cuffs looked like they took a lil bit of time to activate before the kill, or are they supposed to be an insta kill as soon as they’re on, & Aizen only lasted longer because of the hogyokus power? I’m still relatively new to bleach, so I’m definitely no expert lol, & I was also curious what you think would happen if Ulquiorra did manage to pull that off, when his arms regenerate would he be good, or would the cuffs already be in his dna or whatever, so they’d just reform with his new arms & still be an instakill no matter what?
Ikr, i think Yammy is the strongest in terms of raw physical strength but Ulquiorra would beat him in a fight due to being much more faster and way smarter

Even if Urahara got Ulquiorra with the wrist thing, wouldn't Ulquiorra just rip his wrists off and regen them. Also I always took the Aizen line of surpassing Urahara to mean that he had become beyond Urahara's ability to defeat. Not in any one factor, but simply stronger than Urahara's intelligence and power combined can do to Aizen.

Lets do the most basic math possible. Firstly, lets establish power level of a captain. Lets say on average a captain power level is 1. Captain Unohana said that Ichigo with half of his bankai was about at captain level, so Ichigo with his full bankai is about power level of 2. Hallow mask is about the same boost as a bankai (5-10 times power increase), thus full-bankai hallow mask Ichigo should be at power level 10-20. No release Ulquorra was weaker than full bankai hallow mask Ichigo, thus he should have been at about 5-15 power level. Arrancar releases are about 5-10 times boosts, so first release Ulquiorra should be around 25-150 power level. Second release Ulquiorra, if we assume that each release works the same, should be around 125-1500 power level. Half-bankai Vasto Lorde Ichigo was stronger than Ulquirro at the similar proportion as full-bankai hallow mask Ichigo was stronger than no release Ulquiorra, thus this makes half-bankai Vasto Lorde Ichigo power level to be around 165-2250. Lets average-out both of them: Second release Ulquiorra - 812. Half-bankai Vasto Lorde Ichigo - 1207. Lets say Urahara is 50 times stronger than any typical captain. That would still meant that Second Release Ulquiorra is 16 times stronger. Even a child can follow math this simple - Ulquiorra no-dif almost any character in bleach except only few special cases (Yhwach, Ichigo, Yamamoto, etc)
Damn big fan of both you guys but you’re massively underestimating kisuke. Kisuke has the speed advantage. Aizen was legit trying to kill him in the beginning and fooled him with the gigai and put reiatsu cuffs without him knowing. I’ll concede AP to ulquiorra but in bleach AOE explosions don’t always mean more power. By that logic R2 ulquiorra Lanza is stronger than shikai Yamamoto. Kisuke also did damage aizen with just his shikai and shot through his shoulder casually.
I think Urahara would stomp them both, with The Cat Lady fighting backup and taking pot shots. Once hit, he's very difficult to hit again and his ability to lay elaborate strategies on top of the seemingly unpredictable (his fight with Askin AND Aizen) can NOT be ignored. Benihime is a powerful Zanpaktu and Urahara is actually an exceptional fighter (remember he was over the worst prison in The SS). His Bankai would HAVE to be included, as Captains must have Bankai (Zaraki being the only exception); which also means that Yoruichi has Bankai as well (even if it's the cat form). I say that to say this: In power scaling, their fight with Aizen was commonly used; but the Espada were Aizen's flunkies. They weren't NEARLY as strong as he was..... and Urahara sealed him after realizing that he couldn't kill him. Mind you, he did so WITHOUT his Bankai. Ulquoria only THOUGHT that Aizen didn't know of his 2nd release, when in fact he was watching him the whole time. Perhaps it'd be a good fight, but Yammy would be too dumb and bulky & that would provide excellent cover for the slippery Urahara. The armor that Yoruichi wore broke on Aizen, not an Espada. She could still deal substantial damage in this fight without going Bankai. And let's not forget that SHE'S a Captain as well, one of the more respected ones at that. All of that massive energy generated by Yammy she can cancel out with a single attack; Shunpo (not sure I spelled it right). There's more, but I'm typing instead of talking. I give this fight to SS. Hands down

You all are forgetting that azien feared kisuke during the turn back the pendulum ark. Which predates all of bleach. The visards all ganged up and attacked him and tessi and they took them all out. And this guy even attempted to call kenpachi below him😂. I believe azien knew that kisuke was stronger when he was young and viewed him as potential equal or close towards the end. I believe what Aizen may have meant by "I have surpassed you" is that his power had gotten to such a level that he believed no plan Kisuke came up with could stop him. My 2 cents anyways. Awesome video as always.

But he was still able to keep up with Vasto speed wise for a while. I really don't think Urahara could have managed that. With Ulqi's insane regeneration and power in that form, he has a lot more mistakes in the matchup he can do compared to one wrong move from Urahara.
IMO as insanely smart and powerful as Urahara is, i think he's better matched up against enemies who rely on OP complicated abilities that Urahara is able to figure out and create an opening compared to just raw power, regeneration and speed.

You're assuming Ulquiorra even gets to his second form. He only even used it because he was trying to make Ichigo despair etc. He'll begin in base, and one sword exchange would be enough to give Urahara a chance to put the things on his wrists. Anyway, that's only one of Urahara's plans. He would have countless more that were specifically designed to take down arrancar.

He's strong sure, but massively overrated. He's not the most powerful Espada, nor the 2nd. It's absolutely laughable to believe that Aizen doesn't know about his release. It goes against everything we know about Aizen as a character to not know about his own subordinates powers. I mean, he literally granted them their arrancar abilities with the Hogyoku lol.
@@randumo24 LMFAO no other espada matched him besides Yammy maybe in terms of brute force and what's funny about that too is he sacrificed power for more regen meaning he technically could have been even stronger. Aizen didn't even care about Starrk taking the L. He wasn't impressed by him, yet was very impressed by ichigo's reiatsu which was possibly weaker in hollow mask form compared to the actual hollowfied form (which Ulquiorra was matching in the hell movie). Not only that, but Ulquiorra had his tattoo straight up disappear upon second release. Literally never happened with any other espada. That's the most obvious sign that he was probably number one. It also makes sense to have hollow ichigo fight the number one espada narrative wise to have it clearly demonstrate how hollow ichigo stands above all other hollows.
For the Aizen quote, I feel he means they would beat him but for different reasons.
He believes Yamamoto would overpower him eventually through raw power, and Urahara would beat him through being able to hold out until he springs one of his plans (I.E making Aizen blow himself up.) So with him saying he finally surpassed Urahara, he means that Urahara's tricks ultimately can't defeat him since he can heal.

25:03. I think Aizen means that Urahara was in the list of who he considered a threat, not in just the terms of power but threat, or someone who could planblock him. Zaraki, Unohana, and Yamamoto were physical threats, but Urahara is a plan foiler. But after he fuses with the hogyokyu, his power increases by a dimension, and his ego by a few hundred dimensions. Therefore he decided that Urahara is no longer on the list of threats, i.e. surpassed whatever Urahara throws at him.

The Aizen surpassing kisuke with the hogyokuo statement had to be power related. If he was referring to intelligence it doesn’t add up, he and urahara were already close in intellect and that means that the hogyokuo failed to make him intelligent enough to see through kisukes traps and I’m not even sure if it boosts intelligence. Kisuke was also able to react to aizen casually before he transformed all the way and we know spirit energy has to be relative if not superior to react to someone let alone counter them. We’ve seen plenty of characters get one shotted because they weren’t on a relative power scale to react. Not saying kisuke was stronger but he had to be somewhere close to aizen level. Also he casually fought yami and wonderweiss, there was no evidence that he was struggling. And he also wouldn’t be able to cancel yami’s attack if he didn’t have superior or relative spirit energy. Again we’ve seen countless one shots because characters weren’t strong enough to counter or defend. Also Aizen’s powers were rivaled by the likes of Yamamoto so that’s another contradictory statement seeing how he refused fighting head captain head up. Again kisuke isn’t as strong as pre hogyokuo aizen but he has to be somewhere close beneath him.

The thing about Stark is that he is stated as being able to fire an infinite amount of Ceros. Which can only mean his recovery speed is ridiculous and outpaces the cost of a cero.
In other words, he is the worst possible opponent to face in a battle of attrition. Even if his destructive power isn't the strongest, he could wear you down at his leisure. Every second the fight goes on, his advantage grows as his opponent tires. Which means even opponents like Yamamoto could become vulnerable. You know, if Stark survives long enough and his prey doesn't escape or get help.

The fact that Urahara was able to even touch Aizen and surprise him (pre silver surfer form) is enough for me to put him above Ulquiorra. Wether Aizen is aware of Ulquiorra’s 2nd release to me irrelevant. As you pointed out the unmasked data-book still calls Yammy the strongest purely off of power.
Then Gin later remarks those who followed Aizen only did so not because of his Zanpaktou. But his strength which would include 0 Yammy. And this is base Aizen which casually solo’d the entire gotei with utter ease. Max power or not they still dealt with the top 3 Espada right beforehand.

Urahara's bankai to deconstruct anything it touches would literally hard counter Ulquiorras regeneration even though Ulquiorra is the strongest Espada.

We don't see the bankai for long, and what we see is a bit strange. If it can rewrite reality freely, then he could just void his opponents heart and kill them instantly. Instead he disables his opponents arm and uses it to reconstruct his eyes, then amps himself before doing the portal thing. If I had to guess the limits, it would probably be that he can't outright kill an opponent, only alter their physical body, meaning he can't kill Ulkiboy with it outright and would need to create something that could kill him. At which point if you ask me, he just isn't in the same ballpark of power to defeat a second release espada. I mean his plan with his bankai was to get the help of a second release espada.
From what I saw I can describe Urahara's bankai like the ability of Overhaul from Mha that is restructuring things and that could mean that even if Kisuke doesn't kill him he can restructure Ulquiora
This is a really tough call. Urahara fighting empowered Aizen clearly shows his battle capability but Ulquiorra broke the scales when he released his second Resureccion. Tough battle to call. I'm going for Ulquiorra though. Badass from beginning to end.
Ulquiorra didn't really break any scales though. He was still just stronger than Bankai Ichigo, and he got absolutely wrecked by Vasto Lorde Ichigo. He may not have gotten vaporized by the attack that killed him, but the "fight" between the two if you can even call it that, was one of the most one-sided beatdowns in the entire series.
Ulquiorra's 2nd release being super strong is predicated on the absolutely ridiculous notion that Aizen doesn't actually know about his 2nd release. Just because Ulquiorra thinks he doesn't know doesn't mean that it doesn't completely go against everything we know about Aizen for him not to know.

Btw bankai ichigo beat byakuya bankai and improved alot by then. Hollow ichigo is way ahead kisuke there's no way he'd win, his bankai as limited range which ulquiorra doesn't need to be in to nuke him out

I scale Shikai Aizen and Vasto Lorde to Moon-Level but it really doesnt matter who is what, cause you cant argue with reality: Aizen just stood there, smug, a red laserbeam pierced him fully and he looked behind and said smuggly "Oh, Mr. Handsome aka Kisuke Urahara, nice to re-meet yoouuu" AND EVERYONE FORGOTTTT
Lmao. Urahara takes this and it's not even close. Urahara fought a decent solo fight vs hogyoku Aizen, even making Aizen himself admit that if he didn't have hogyoku, he would've died. And the same base Aizen was supposed to be much more powerful than all espada, including Ulquiorra. That's the only thing that needs to be considered here. Urahara is too fast, and his hax is too powerfulabd versatile.
That base Aizen was, by his own admission, not trying in the slightest; and was recklessly not even on guard anymore. He also wasn't using Kyoka Suigetsu and Urahara also had backup from Isshin and Yoruichi, who herself has special anti-hierro armor. And even all of that together did squat to Aizen and he then oneshotted all of them.

Urahara would place those cuffs on ulquiorra and he'd quite literally just die to put it simply. I like ulquiorra but urahara's kido is simply an easy win. Ulquiorra would never let himself fall into that; he's far too analytical and on guard. Don't get ME wrong; if Urahara managed to get Ulquiorra with it then absolutely he would win by the nature of its hax. I just don't think Urahara would manage to pull it off.

It's not a matter of pre transcendent Aizen being more cunning and careful, NO.
It's a matter of FACT, that IF Shikai Aizen or even Yamamoto had indeed taken that hit, they would 100% die to their own reiatsu detonating inside them which is unavoidable UNLESS you attain immortality(which Aizen had already at that point). Aizen not being serious doesn't take anything away from the 3 that were fighting him, and at that point, no 3 espada could take 1 hit from him anyway lol he ruled over them in a weaker form than that.
side note, literally 1 of them was nerfed(Ishin), the other was out of shape and had grown weaker(Yoruichi), and the 3rd(Urahara) didn't even whip out his bankai because he was playing the long game. my point here is that, Ulquiorra "hiding" his power and potentially being on par or above Shikai Aizen in 2nd release still doesn't matter because the same argument can be made for the 3 he fought after evolving.
And knowing Ulquiorra, he would 100% look down on Urahara and take his normal looking attack lightly. Don't forget the rules of the argument here, "the narrative/portrayal is taken into account". With that in mind, Ulquiorra wouldn't even go into his 1st release form let alone 2nd release, AND Urahara only needs to tag him once.
It is impossible for Ulqiourra to evade EVERY attack that comes his way lmao, Urahara is not base bankai Ichigo who hesitates to kill and has no "resolve" nor is he sadistic and arrogant like Ulquiorra, if he sees a chance he's taking it. Battle experience and knowing your limits is also important, even if just a bit.
We all love Ulquiorra's character and know just how powerful he is, but the fact it that the only way he would stomp Urahara is if, for some reason Urahara underestimates him because he is ranked 4th and so decides not to use one of his trump cards, and for some other reason Ulquiorra immediately goes into 2nd release form and quickly creates that absurdly powerful spear and kills Urahara. Which is very unrealistic considering this argument is based on the narrative of the story and not just some Death Battle type match up.
Urahara vs Ulquiorra would logically end in a few seconds, with Urahara taking the Win at least 7 times out of 10.
Also Kisukes war arc mainly revolved around his bankai, which would be important in this matchup.
Wouldn't it make the most sense that Aizen meant that Urahara doesn't have any way of defeating him now, not because he was stronger then him before but because he could still win with his intelligence and different techniques? Because it's obvious that he was physically stronger then Urahara and his intelligence didn't increase with the hogioku so I think this explanation makes the most sense.
Byakkuya and kenpachi barely looked like they had to try against yammy. They were both pushed by weaker espada prior to that. There was very little break between the fights as well. Idk... i refuse to buy that yammy at full power was even that powerful. Maybe powerful in the sense that a battering ram can do a lot of damage if you stand still and let it hit you. But he is so bulky that i think his power doesn't get utilized well. It was also stated that a captain would be swinging a zanpakuto the size of a skyscraper if it wasn't kept in check. Yammy might be the hollow equivalent where he has massive amounts of power but cannot use it worth a shit.
I think Kisuke wins pretty clearly tbh, especially if we’re counting his Bankai. I know we’re not scaling him post time skip but the mere fact that Yhwach thinks of Kisuke as one of the 5 war threats is beyond impressive. To even put him in the same category as Kenpachi, Aizen, Ichibe, and Ichigo is incredible. We know he’s not referring to his raw power as well, but I think we’re still underrating exactly how smart Urahara is. He wipes imo

This was analyzed very well. I agree with the others that Aizen surpasses Urahara in a way that caused Urahara's strategies to be moot.
If the newest release from the mobile game for Ulquiorra was a factor I don't know if Urahara's bankai would be enough (despite how insane it is). That would be a really badass fight in itself.
Also, remember Ulquiorra lacked a real drive during the fight with Ichigo and basically just gave up. If he had the resolve Ichigo did, who knows what he could have done. On the flip side, he was such a masterful fighter because he didn't let emotion control him. Once he "found his heart" at the end of the battle with Ichigo, I'm curious what that would have translated into if he hadn't died and brought that new awareness into the next battle.
Aye Just curious if kisuke was able to somehow manage to get those wrist cuffs on ulquiorra (in his 2nd released state) wouldn’t he be able to just slice off his arms & regenerate new ones to avoid the Insta kill?

Even if Urahara got Ulquiorra with the wrist thing, wouldn't Ulquiorra just rip his wrists off and regen them.
Also I always took the Aizen line of surpassing Urahara to mean that he had become beyond Urahara's ability to defeat. Not in any one factor, but simply stronger than Urahara's intelligence and power combined can do to Aizen.

Lets do the most basic math possible.
Firstly, lets establish power level of a captain. Lets say on average a captain power level is 1.
Captain Unohana said that Ichigo with half of his bankai was about at captain level, so Ichigo with his full bankai is about power level of 2.
Hallow mask is about the same boost as a bankai (5-10 times power increase), thus full-bankai hallow mask Ichigo should be at power level 10-20.
No release Ulquorra was weaker than full bankai hallow mask Ichigo, thus he should have been at about 5-15 power level.
Arrancar releases are about 5-10 times boosts, so first release Ulquiorra should be around 25-150 power level.
Second release Ulquiorra, if we assume that each release works the same, should be around 125-1500 power level.
Half-bankai Vasto Lorde Ichigo was stronger than Ulquirro at the similar proportion as full-bankai hallow mask Ichigo was stronger than no release Ulquiorra, thus this makes half-bankai Vasto Lorde Ichigo power level to be around 165-2250.
Lets average-out both of them:
Second release Ulquiorra - 812.
Half-bankai Vasto Lorde Ichigo - 1207.
Lets say Urahara is 50 times stronger than any typical captain. That would still meant that Second Release Ulquiorra is 16 times stronger.
Even a child can follow math this simple - Ulquiorra no-dif almost any character in bleach except only few special cases (Yhwach, Ichigo, Yamamoto, etc)

Damn big fan of both you guys but you’re massively underestimating kisuke. Kisuke has the speed advantage. Aizen was legit trying to kill him in the beginning and fooled him with the gigai and put reiatsu cuffs without him knowing. I’ll concede AP to ulquiorra but in bleach AOE explosions don’t always mean more power. By that logic R2 ulquiorra Lanza is stronger than shikai Yamamoto. Kisuke also did damage aizen with just his shikai and shot through his shoulder casually.
I think Urahara would stomp them both, with The Cat Lady fighting backup and taking pot shots. Once hit, he's very difficult to hit again and his ability to lay elaborate strategies on top of the seemingly unpredictable (his fight with Askin AND Aizen) can NOT be ignored. Benihime is a powerful Zanpaktu and Urahara is actually an exceptional fighter (remember he was over the worst prison in The SS).
His Bankai would HAVE to be included, as Captains must have Bankai (Zaraki being the only exception); which also means that Yoruichi has Bankai as well (even if it's the cat form). I say that to say this: In power scaling, their fight with Aizen was commonly used; but the Espada were Aizen's flunkies. They weren't NEARLY as strong as he was..... and Urahara sealed him after realizing that he couldn't kill him. Mind you, he did so WITHOUT his Bankai. Ulquoria only THOUGHT that Aizen didn't know of his 2nd release, when in fact he was watching him the whole time. Perhaps it'd be a good fight, but Yammy would be too dumb and bulky & that would provide excellent cover for the slippery Urahara. The armor that Yoruichi wore broke on Aizen, not an Espada. She could still deal substantial damage in this fight without going Bankai. And let's not forget that SHE'S a Captain as well, one of the more respected ones at that. All of that massive energy generated by Yammy she can cancel out with a single attack; Shunpo (not sure I spelled it right). There's more, but I'm typing instead of talking. I give this fight to SS. Hands down
