This is one of M. Night Shyamalan’s best in my opinion. The double meaning of the word signs is very creative and heartfelt. ✌️
No, Naveed, she didn't die because she lacked medical care... the ambulance was there. It's just that she was pinned/wedged between the truck and the tree in such a way that she was still alive (barely) but there wasn't anything that they could do to put her body back together once they pulled the truck away. She was trapped between life and death for a few minutes and she was having visions and telling Graham. She said "it was meant to be" (same as Ray) and asked for him to "see" the signs and "tell Merrill to swing away."
yup yup .. the way the two vehicles had her pinned was the only thing actually KEEPING her alive .. to the point where once they remove her from her position between the cars, she won't be able to survive being removed from that position 😢
@@bekanimal Coleen was pinned between Ray Reddy's truck and a TREE - there was no other car involved
@@LittleBlueOwl318 sorry, yes !
His wife’s body was cut in half by the truck. She would die instantly once they move the vehicle. There was nothing they could do to save her.
Someone should've demonstrated it with a taco or a hot dog.
This movie takes place in my county and the town part is in my town, we were all excited for this when it came out. People in the theatre clapped every time there was a local reference or town name.
Bucks? Right? Delco girl here lol
@@JTW89yeah they filmed it in Newtown where I’m from
This is such a good movie, Mel Gibson and Joaquin Phoenix act off each other really well. Also the guy that played Ray is the director, M. Night Shyamalan.
The way his wife died was so emotional for me. Her body was pinned between two vehicles. They could not save her, because they knew that when they separated the vehicles she would instantly bleed out, she died instantly. I was so traumatized and sad.
I love the compassion and care you two show when watching reactions. You feel the characters emotions with them and it makes for a great reaction. Enjoyed watching this with you. The Father had a Crisis of Faith due to his grief but overcame it in the end. Good movie.
Their love for one another is also very evident.
This is one of my favorite movies
Same
I love this movie
Tell the guys an ambulance wouldn't have helped the mother. Her body was cut in half from the accident. Once the car is moved off of her she would immediately bleed out
I am glad you finally showed them Signs...great movie!
One of my favourite films of all time. Lets go!
“The Village” is another interesting movie by the same director.
This also is my favorite movie by Shyamalan, it was amazingly executed. The movie takes you on a huge emotional ride. I'm glad you both enjoyed this as much as we enjoyed your reaction!
Thank you for showing them SIGNS. I think it would be fun to let them know that how the director Mr. M.Night looks like so that the next time they watch his movies, they can try to spot him. ❤
Hell yeah! Let's go boys! I think you'll enjoy the film🎉
I've never seen somebody comment so frequently on somebody's walking style. I'd love them to see Oceans Eleven, when the old guy becomes Lymon Zerga and takes on a purposeful stride. Plus I think they'd love the whole film.
They would absolutely love The Thin Red Line
Can't wait for Unbreakable next.
This is categorized as a thriller/mystery film.
I'm glad to see your reactions of the Shyamalan movies!!! He's one of my favorite directors. ❤
Fun fact: the veterinarian guy is Shyamalan 😊
Everyone loves Beau lol she’s the perfect daughter/sister
Loved this reaction; I recommend “Walk the Line” for another great Joachin Phönix role!
8:38 and 15:52 That man is M. Night Shyamalan, he's the director of this film.
He's a really director and usually plays a small role in his films.
The man in the truck going to the lake was the man who hit his wife--that actor is the man who wrote this script...M. Knight Shyamalan. He also wrote "The Sixth Sense" with the boy who saw dead people. Mel Gibson, is both an actor and a director, with many, many film credits. M Knight Shyamalan is writer, director, and producer of many films. Both men are enormously successful in this industry.
Aw you guys made me cry (31:41) like when I first saw it all those years ago in the theater. 🙏🏼 Shyamalan is one of my favorite directors and this is one of his best films. There have been many discussions about this film and one interpretation is that the "aliens" are demons that he has to fight to get his faith back. You can assume he probably said a blessing over his house when they moved in therefore the tap water would be holy water as well. At one point you hear over the radio that they used a 'primitive method" in the Middle East to defeat them. Obviously that is the Holy Land for the three major religions.
I hope you guys will watch UNBREAKABLE which is my other favorite Shyamalan film. He cameos in all of them. Here he was Ray, the man who trapped one in his kitchen.
Your Patrons ❤ you!
M Night Shyamalan plays Ray. He always appears in his movies. He played a doctor in The Sixth Sense. He is a great director.
And his biggest role was in his movie lady in the water.
YAY!!! I’ve been waiting and hoping you would watch this one soon!!!
*****The movie 'Joker' with Joaquin Phoenix is a must see, please!!
*Oh boy...haven't watched this since one of my twin sons died 2 years ago, weeks before they turned 16. The signs I've gotten, **_there are no coincidences._** I'm sobbing now, at the **30:55** point, because all the circle of incidents and words create what some call destiny, or our purpose, both bad and good, all come full circle and the full picture. In times when least expected but desperately needing. I know personally. Namaste.'*
❤❤❤
One of my favourite movies. Actually attended lectures about it at Uni - it is a masterclass when it comes to slow monster reveal and interspersing moments of tension and drama with (subtle and tactful) bits of humour and flashbacks that add much needed information and emotion.
Also the stakes are both great - the fate of the planet (possibly) - but also extremely personal because it's a man's fight to save his family.
The only aspect that is somewhat lacking is the dialogue, but one can't have everything and absolutely all of the actors are doing a superb job.
Finally and most likely somewhat accidentally, it is an absolute masterpiece and a textbook to any extraterrestrial civilisation on how to conduct a successful and meaningful invasion... yes, successful - aliens didn't loose anything, they simply withdrew and the "green men" weren't probably how the actual aliens even looked like... but that's a topic for a very long discussion or maybe another lecture.
Thank you for the video guys. Great job.
The guy that hit his wife in the movie is actually the director of the movie ...M night Shyamalan .
One of my favourite movies. I'm glad you both watched 🙌
I loved they're reaction! They need to see the village, i think that they would enjoy seeing Joaquin Phenix in that one.
This movie had a serious psychological impact on me when I was a kid. Our dad showed it to my siblings and I when it came out on DVD/TV about a year after release. We grew up in a rural county in Illinois. The biggest town only had 3500people in it. And we lived way away from that. Surrounded by cornfields and thick forests similar to their house in this movie. Anyway after watching this movie there was no going out at night unless you really had to. And when you did you had to talk a sibling into going outside with you. At the time we threw pocket knives in our pockets just in case lol. To this day any time I walk outside at night instead of a pocket knife I am strapped, locked, and loaded lol. Didn’t help that my home county has the most UFO sightings per capita in the state and the surrounding states. Which is impressive considering how few people we have here. Nothing will ever likely happen but you had better be damned sure that I will be ready if or when it does 😂
Oh my gosh it was fun watching you experience this great film! It was just like the first time I saw it myself. Thanks for sharing with us 😊
Excellent choice!! This is going to be fun!
Still hoping they will watch CLOSE ENCOUNTERS
Or war of the worlds
Great movie!
They've seen the Sixth Sense, now they've watched Signs. Next the need to watch Unbreakable from Mr. M. Night.
What I like about this film is it shows a tiny bit about rural America. Most of the United States is remote and small towns. Foreigners think of New York or Hollywood...the truth is we have many rural farmers and small remote communities. My town is only a couple hundred people surrounded by many acres of farmland with a few people. Other places are even more isolated. Nearest smaller city is a 20 minute drive, nearest bigger city is more than an hour away by car. Most of America is similar outside of cities. We know our neighbors, We are far from the insanity of the big cities.
Just to add, I don't fear extraterrestrials. It's just a fun movie for me to watch around our Halloween season. People like to watch movies to scare them for the fun of that season. It is frightening, but only a movie. It's fun fiction. I don't worry about it daily in my life.
Love your reactions!!!
Another suggestion since it can be appreciated in any language, Fantastia.
Either version is fine.
they will like Mel Gibson
Or The Thin Red Line (my favorite movie)
Excellent movie and great reaction !
gonna go watch this myself now, forgot abut this one
Loving this channel guys. Wish I had some strawberry milk to drink with you 😂
This is base on a true story fella!
Ohh, a great jump out of your seat thriller. Enjoy yourselves.
I love this MOVIE!
15:54 . That's M. Night Shyamalan.
"Swing away"! ❤
it'll be interesting to see their reaction to say.... monster house.
another great movie reaction ! would love to see you guys react to the "paranormal activity" franchise, "incantation" (korean movie) or "law abiding citizen" l!
oh man, law abiding citizen would be intense !
A later Mel Gibson movie that is often over looked is "Edge of Darkness." It's one of the better action suspense thrillers he did as an older actor.
You guys really need to see the "Lethal Weapon" action comedy saga too.
Let's get other villagers to see movies
If they enjoyed Mel Gibson, Actor & Director, try watching The Patriot, and Brave Heart.
The movie that made Mel Gibson's career is 'Mad Max'. An aussie classic.
I keep expecting the startle factor to send that tea all over the room🤣
Any movie with Mel Gibson, either starring in it or directing it, is bound to be a good one!
Another great time time watching with the guys!
I am also surprised they did not Notice that the younger brother was also the Evil Emperor in Gladiator lol unless they did mention it and I missed it.
They should see darkness falls and the grudge
They have to watch another Mel Gibson classic - Braveheart
Should check the Tom cruise war of the worlds movie the boys would love it 👽👾🤖
This is a favorite movie of mine. I have to laugh, though, to think that the aliens would travel all that way to a planet that is 90% water when they don’t tolerate water and that they would be stopped by a pantry door.
I loved your reaction guys! I have one question though, what were you drinking? It looked delicious!
They should watch Spielberg's "War of the Worlds".
will also love them to see jurassic park 3
Very handsome guys
I never realized the Alien was still alive after the baseball bat attack haha.....They should of tied it up and hand it over to the cops. This is kinda my 4th time watching this movie and I never noticed.
Very nice. Pulp Fiction please.
What are they drinking?? It looks good
The ending would be better if the alien's weakness was Shasta Cola. 13 ads!
Check out the movie "Forever Young". It's a great Mel Gibson film the guys will enjoy *
Excellent movie that unfortunately seems lost and forgotten thru time
Joaquin Phoenix is not the father. He is the Uncle (baseball player). the father is Mel Gibson.
It would be nice if you stated for every movie the budget it cost to make. For example: This is one of the cheapest budgets of movies to make as a blockbuster movie. The cost to make this movie was only $72 million United States dollars.
Dont forget Back to the Future 3, Toy Story 2.
How about showing them The Curious Case of Benjamin Button? Interesting on so many levels.
YESSSS!!!! 🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼
👏🏼 ❤
Ray is the director
I hope u can show them movie Halloween (1978 version) since halloween is about to come
Thanks for reading, have a nice day and I hope this channel grows strong ❤
8:44 Tell Naveed & Mansoor that THAT is the director of this movie. M. Night Shyamalan has a bit more than just a few cameos in this one.
15:51 M. Night Shyamalan Yes, the one called, "Ray."
*Suggestions: "The Abyss", "Hacksaw Ridge", "Source Code", "Contact", "Her", "The Imaginarium of Dr. Parnassus", "Miss Peregrine's Home for Peculiar Children" and "Mr. Magorium's Wonder Emporium". I **_know_** they will enjoy these.*
what are you guys drinking? may I have some?? yum!
It's a milk tea ( chai)🥰
@@Cinephilesreact786 thanks! I enjoyed watching Signs with you guys! hadn't seen this movie in years
You guys should watch Apocalypto
If they want to see a good Mel Gibson movie show these men "Braveheart", "The Patriot" or "Lethal Weapon." If they want to see a good Joaquin Phoenix movie show them "The Joker."
Please watch Arrival or Interstellar
Pls watch "Braveheart", Mel Gibson's best movie. Yes, violent, but so good!
I'm sorry but what kind of a drink is that? It's looks delicious
What country are these guys from?
Have the guys watched Monsters Inc yet?
have they seen matrix, 5th element, and harry potter? and amazon's lord of the rings ring of power tv series.
unskippable ads :(
❤❤
War of the world
Is that strawberry milk?
Probably Chai - milk tea
Show them Pirates of the Caribbean
Good choice of movie. Next, may I recommend The Color Purple?
