Lots of good tips in this one about tripods. I followed your link to where you can buy it and was surprised it cost a lot less than I thought it would cost. My current tripod works well for me but I did modify it after I bought it to make it better. There is a question I have. I wonder if you would explain the pros and cons of a ball head vs a gimbal head? I have never heard anyone do that before.

Hmmm, I got mine with a case, not sure why it would say that! I bought mine through Amazon as my local camera store doesn't carry this brand (I am working to get them to carry it)!
