Yes that would be great. It would especially be interesting to see the homes of those architects who weren't wealthy and didn't have millions of dollars to build their home.

'emotionally I wanted a structure that felt it was soaring out into space almost defying gravity in a sense, but at the same time tied back to the land itself so that it feels that it's a part of the land and it belongs in this one particular site' - said Frank Lloyd Wright about 'Fallingwater' a half century earlier in 1935.
@@marycalhoun2208 "...There in a beautiful forest was a solid, high rock-ledge rising beside a waterfall, and the natural thing seemed to be to cantilever the house from that rock-bank over the falling water...I think nothing yet ever equalled the coordination, sympathetic expression of the great principle of repose where forest and stream and rock and all the elements of structure are combined so quietly...I want you to live with the waterfall, not just to look at it, but for it to become an integral part of your lives..." - Frank Lloyd Wright
I’d like to see this house in every season. I bet it would look even better in winter rising up out of the earth where you can see more of the “bones” of the structure.
This house is not my style, but I tremendously enjoyed listening to the process of the construction of this tree house. It was soothing to watch. All details were well thought. I would want to see a architects home before hiring them to design one for myself. I love the shape and color of his house. It seems so much bigger inside than it looks on the outside. It kind of reminds me of a blue bird on the trees
It’s beautiful to be able to witness pure passion… this man was born to be an artist.
I cant find the source of FLW saying this. Can you post source?
@@marycalhoun2208 "...There in a beautiful forest was a solid, high rock-ledge rising beside a waterfall, and the natural thing seemed to be to cantilever the house from that rock-bank over the falling water...I think nothing yet ever equalled the coordination, sympathetic expression of the great principle of repose where forest and stream and rock and all the elements of structure are combined so quietly...I want you to live with the waterfall, not just to look at it, but for it to become an integral part of your lives..." - Frank Lloyd Wright
this is perfection. one of the most beautiful and masterful homes i think i've ever seen.
Looks like something straight out of Star Wars!! So incredible
The jet boats that go by below stop and call it the Jetson house
What an inspirational home! And has aged so well! Doesn’t look dated
I’d like to see this house in every season. I bet it would look even better in winter rising up out of the earth where you can see more of the “bones” of the structure.
Since it is in oregon, there’s more greenery in the winter usually.
A generous 'solution' to building 'there', for in its spritely leap, there is perfect harmony with its place achieved.💐
Love this house! So relaxing and peaceful. Fluid is another word that springs to mind. Thank you for sharing xx
Wow, normally wild designs like this leave you scratching your head. I would genuinely love to live here.
Bravo! Such a beautifully designed and realized house & interior ✨ Hopefully more of these features AD.
Way outside the box, unleashed imagination, an inspiration to original creativity
Truly amazing
Real practical art
This house is not my style, but I tremendously enjoyed listening to the process of the construction of this tree house. It was soothing to watch. All details were well thought. No corner details were spared!
It's defiantly giving Frank Lloyd Wright.
This might sound weird, I have never heard of Robert Oshatz but this house feels like a reflection of his personality; Peaceful, humble and generous. It is his identity. You can tell that the architect put love and creativity designing his house.
Took the words right outta my mouth. Yeah, some of the interior and well, exterior, are dated. but there are spots of timelessness and FLW
*MUCH, MUCH better than all those cliché boxy mansions* made out of glass and concrete.
This is the coolest house I’ve ever seen. Absolutely beautiful architecture!
This proves that modern buildings can be just as cool and unique as old ones without just badly copying traditional buildings.
I love unique structures, but at the same time I like simple boxy modern homes too. I think I like the unique homes for the art aspect, and the boxy modern homes for the practicality.
