I think whoever created this slightly odd video (no Centurion??) confused the Anglo-German EKE project, which is linked with the Black Prince upgrade for the Chally 2, with the Franco-German MGCS partnership. Having said that, it's quite likely that the UK will join MGCS, and pretty soon (if allowed ;)
Franco/German took the best of both tanks the 4 seconds autoloader, optics, armor and delayed smoke gun of the Leclerc Turret with the hull, engine, gearbox and configuration of the german Leopard 2. And obviously name it Charlemagne 1 instead of EMBT

Good video overall. I've seen other videos that compared the KF51 Panther and Abrams X there definitely comparable, but KF51 had better protection, a missle launcher, and a bigger main gun with more range and lethality they both use the latest electrics with AI and open-systems that can be upgraded the Abrams X did have a hybrid engine that the Panther didn't but we'll see soon enough both great tanks also I believe the EMBT is a joint German/French tank not British

@TR3B black manta who cares if I'm making a comparison? When new products come out, comparisons are going to be made regardless of what side they are on! It's not always about one being necessarily better. Sometimes, one may be better in certain environments or types of missions! There's many joint exercises where many Western tanks and other types of military equipment are compared, and they are all on the same side! So you implying that we shouldn't compare them because they are both NATO doesn't make sense!

Larger bullet doesn't mean better range though, the shell must be large enough to store more energy for the bullet to travel further due to increased mass, and idk abt what shells will panther use

И то что смешная сетка на российских танках в начале войны сейчас очень не смешная и хорошо работает против Дронов . и есть фото где на леопарды Челленджер и меркаву приделывают сетки на крышу.

Considering how many of these tanks have never been proven in combat it kinda an unbalanced assessment. Only a few Russian/ Soviet tanks and American Abrams have faced other in protracted combat. At least in the last twenty years.

They made it to protect against top-attack missiles. A waste of time, obviously.
The thing that stopped other threads was a kind of side factor. Also, it protects against DRONE-DROPPED GRENADES. They didn't know about the suicide FPV drone's existence.

Again, I suggest the vehicles and tanks of the game Civilization: Beyond Earth. They have 11 variants of a tank, a lev tank, an "autosled", a "Lev destroyer", an airship, and several artillery, even a Walking death robot called an "A.N.G.E.L."
I also suggest the various tanks and vehicles of the EDF games, from the humble Grape and Railgun, to larger tanks, to the great BALAM and BARGA giant mechsuits, the game series has some great fictional vehicles to cover, and all of them have models in the game files I'm sure

6:26 the Т84 is not in the service of the Ukrainian army. It could not be produced. The plan was drawn up in 2021 and not in 2009 ((if I'm not mistaken)) A total of 4 tanks were invented. As I noted, They were not put into production.
The T-84 is in service in Ukraine, and has seen fighting, including a report of one being damaged by a Lancet drone (however it's unconfirmed if it was a T-84 or T-80BVM).
The T-84 Oplot-M, however, hasn't entered service. I believe that's the one that never got produced.
Armata is a much more technologically advanced tank than any tanks in the top 10, why is it not at least in 4th place?..

Russia lacks of sensors.
America lacks on firepower.

Despite you see destroyed Leopard 2 everywhere, they have always an excuse. Usually is: "it's not made to operate in such environments".
So we must think that such tanks are precisely made to operate in the specific environment of Eurosatory and the other "tank festivals" where the big money are stolen from the pockets of the poor people.

Топ-3 и Армата - это прототипы. Леклерк - очень дорогой танк, но он хорош, он гораздо лучше Абрамса также хорош корейский Чёрная Пантера многие считают это лучшим танком в мире. Эти танки из стран которые никогда не были лучшими в танкостроении. Отдельно стоит Меркава - это самый защищённый танк в мире. Ну и конечно Т-90, Абрамс М1А2 , Леопард 2А7, китайский тип 99. Это танки воевавшие или воевавшие их более ранние версии в общем сделанные на проверенной в боях надёжной отработанной платформе. А вот Челленджер - это танк который выглядит хорошо на рекламном постере с его списком красивых характеристик, а в реальности - постоянно ломающееся говно. Вот эти танки и есть Топ-10. Я искренне не понимаю как 40 место- это Т-64, а 39- Леопард1. Леопард -1 может ровняться только с Т-62, Т-64 это танк следующего поколения. Леопард -2 вышел как ответ на танки Т-64/72. А то что Т-90 стоит ниже чем малазийские, индийские или пакистанские танки - это вообще глупость несусветная 😂😂😂. Где Т-80БВМ? Он такой же почти как Т-90, только с 1200 сильным газотурбинным двигателем. Он очень быстрый

Да и Меркава - самый защищенный танк? Не сказал бы. Двигатель прикрыт тонкой (в сравнении с современными танками) броней, которая еще и не композитная. Двигатель расположен только с одной стороны, а с другой - мехвод. Если лом попадет в двигатель, то да, те 2м "брони" спасут экипаж. А вот если попадет со стороны мехвода - пробьет весь танк навылет (и еще несколько стоящих позади). Если фугас прилетит в маску башни, то проломит верх танка и не только поломает двигатель, но и экипаж новый понадобится.
Там по годам сначала идет топ, а потом да, бредятина

А Армата на более чем 90% из новых деталей. В общем сырая и м кучей детских болезней. А вот Т-90М - прорыв, это безусловно на данный момент лучший танк в России и один из лучших в мире. В чëм то уступает другим лидерам, а в чем- то превосходит.

And the No.8 Altay tank is a tank from Turkiye that received all the technology from the K2 Heukpyo tank. And the Korean defense companies Hyundai Rotem and Hyundai Wia designed and transferred technology to Turkiye. Therefore, the K2 tank in Korea and the Altay tank in Turkiye are brothers.

@@user-qt4vy5vt7kI’ve never heard that story of the leopard being beaten by a T-72 but It’s kinda easy to believe that because if the T-72 were to hit the leopard in the right area it could easily disable it, and it’s possible the T-72 crew was just better trained and had more experience. As you said even Cold War tanks can be equal to modern day ones if the crew is skilled enough.

Maybe it's just me, but considering how a lot of these tanks are over 60 tons, I still say that a lot of these should really be classified as heavy tanks.

"Unitary tank" could also fit.
Heavy tanks had low mobility, low agility but heavy armor and firepower.
Medium tanks had good mobility and average firepower but lacked armor and agility.
light tanks had agility and were easier to obscure from enemy vision, so they were better for recon or early light cavalry actions but lacked armor, firepower etc.
