You guys sure nailed it "$150 is like an entry level knife" Rewind 3 years ago and I was thinking "who would ever pay as much as $50 for a pocket knife??" Hahaha
Exactly me 5 years ago, but I'm still in the 30-80€ range toady even though I own some more expensive ones. This range has the most affordable workhorses in my opinion.
Exactly...my first spyderco was the tenacious and I couldn't believe I was spending $50 for it! At the time I thought it was a ton of money for a knife...heh
Drinking Game!! whenever Zac says; "Sweet sweet (fill in the blank"), "great little work horse" "bunch of different flavors" . yall know it happens every single video!!!
Picked up a Caribbean for a marine electric job I started recently and it is unparalleled for its purpose. The blade steel doesn't rust, similar to the H1, and it matches up to s30v with durability and its sharpening qualities. The grooved 3d g10 handle is like nothing else. The sheepsfoot with the "wharncliffe" (which has a little belly, but that's a technicality) is the way to go. Understandably, it won't be a fan favorite, but for all intents and purposes it is a boss knife. Keep up the awesome work, guys.
New Guy needs a Benchmade Mini Griptilian. My first one handed folder was a Spyderco Clipit in the mid to late 1980s that lasted about 6 months before the integrated plastic clip broke off. I then went back to my traditional slipjoint pocket knives for a couple of years before I replaced the Clipit with a Mini Griptilian around 2002. I still use that Mini Griptilian, hard to go wrong with that.
I agree with George about the Tenacious. Great first knife. Kept me going for a few years until I found BladeHQ.... Now I have a PM2, P3 Lightweight, Lil Native, Delica, Endela, Endura, Assist, Bug, Dragonfly Salt, Pacific Salt, and Atlantic Salt.... and I'm waiting desperately for someone to make a M390 Shaman.
Let me tell you something Mean Gene! You gotta have the red and yellow scaled, Hulkamania themed Spyderco brother! It doesn't matter if it's the Para 3, it doesn't matter if it's the lightweight version and it doesn't even matter if you got the Spydiechef, clanging and banging in the kitchen like me dude! You always gotta have your knife brother, just like Chaz Ware in the bungee match in 1993 when he had to cut himself free from the bungee once the match was over brother!
I just got my first Spyderco in the mail today, a Tenacious. Now suddenly I have a PM2 coming tomorrow. It took me just a couple hours to decide I was ready to take the next step. 😃
My favorite Spyderco is the Manix 2. I have four, including LW. If I were a guy that needed to work with knife a lot, that would be my choice. I used to carry a lot but have gone smaller. Now my main carry goes between Lil Native, G10 and the Dragonfly 2 LW and G10. I own several other variations, including the Para 2. Spyderco, please make a mini-Manix!!
Manix 2 LW. Loving the maxamet. You guys said it. The best thing about Spyderco is the variety, not just the steels, handle material, blade profile, price point. There is literally a Spyderco for everybody. That and Sal. The man has personally offered to buy back a forum member's Delica if they they bought one and didn't like it. That kind of confidence and belief in one's craft is rare.
Carson needs a Civivi Elementum. Best all-around, reasonably-priced, comfortably-sized EDC that's approachable in design, smooth in action, and has a quality blade steel for daily use. Plenty of color options as well!
I have a Para 3 with a Lynch clip. I love it. Only one knife in my collection edges it out. Benchmade Griptilian with the thumb hole blade and the Benchmade mini deep carry clip. It's like a perfect hybrid of Benchmade and Spyderco. Flicks even better than my Para 3.
Def need to see the 2020 Spyderco tonto tip blade from your shot show both video. I carry Spyderco everyday as a tool and life saving device for commercial diving, mostly the Salt series H1 - but I dig them all!!! Keep us posted!!
I feel like Zac made more of an effort in the carving contest, so I'd give it to him. 🕷 I am almost afraid to see Shakey's knife collection. Good man, Carson! #GeauxSaints ⚜
You don't hear enough about the dodo I own the natural g10 with a satin blade and it is my favorite knife I'm glad to hear somebody finally talking about it
I have two Spyderco knives. My first one is an Eddie Bauer ladybug from 1992 that has been on my keychain ever since. My second is a Dragonfly Salt I bought this past year from Bladehq. I never leave the house for a run without it.
Yes, we need to see Shakey's knife collection! It's been a long time since I've had a Spyderco (had a couple Delica knives at various points), so I got myself a Manix 2 Lightweight and I'm loving it!
My para3 in m4 has saved me soooooo much money, Purely because I find a new know I love but I think to myself "will I carry this over my para3?".. the answer is almost always no! Freaking love it!!
This was grouse fun. Really enjoyed the chill presentation. You are not lying about Spydie flickin'. Every time I try and Alpha out at a bbq and spydie flick to open a steak, I end up either half opening, cutting myself like some sort of tribute or flat out throwing my knife across the yard. I'm not great at the flick, to be honest.
I have an original Endura with the integrated plastic pocket clip and fully serrated blade made in Seki City Japan. I bought it in 1989 at the AF base I was stationed at.
Currently adding to my collection-- just added my "Grail" Spyderco: old-school cool Stainless Police (plain edge) -- have LOVED this knife since I was a kid and would see at shows or in shops.
Well Carson you can't go wrong with thw Bugout obviously just about everybody else who works wit you has at least 1. Or if you're into assisteds the Kershaw Knockout is coming out with an M390 Carbon Fiber Sprint( high end scales, high end steel great "knife guy" knife), or the OG model is on clearance because its discontinued, and having something people can't get anymore is kinda cool too. Good luck and try out a couple before you buy, you have that option don't take it for granted. Most of us have to make choices from pictures/videos.
The Yojimbo 2 (the wharncliffe of death) is my favorite Spyderco of all time. Unfortunately, the tip of my black M4 with natural G-10 broke off on a piece of plastic.
Currently own the CF/20CV Yojimbo 2 and Delica(which I carried today). I also used to own a Spydiechef that I customized by anodizing the scales gold and then anodized titanium hardware bronze. I sold it and kinda regret it lol
Carson's first knife - Benchmade Bugout. I was hesitant myself, and was only going to get a Blackout Bugout if I ever owned another Benchmade, and I made the right choice.
Shaman me for my pronunciations! 🤣
🤣🤣
@@BladeHQ Is the Smock going to remain on sale or is it going to jump back to the regular price?
Manix 2XL 💯🔥❗ I 💘 that knife. It's been my EDC 6yrs now !
brother shbazz....
Did he say running with Chris Reeves? He could of used a better chose of words! 😳😳
You guys sure nailed it "$150 is like an entry level knife" Rewind 3 years ago and I was thinking "who would ever pay as much as $50 for a pocket knife??" Hahaha
Rick Curcio I remember cringing at $20 knives now all my shit is like.. 100-200 most times

Thank you Blade HQ for the end screen feature!
Casey Lynch is a solid dude , great customer service and incredible clip. Spyderco all the way!
Thanks guys for showing us the coolest Spyderco knives!
Let's get shaky a show!! And I've been crushing on the smock!! Edc the chef!!

I immediately took my vitamins and said my prayers!
Thank you guy for all the great content looking forward to all the up coming videos
now i dont personally own it but i fell in love with the design of the spyderco ikuchi
Same.
TheGhastlyKnightsJauntJudiciously :- The Ikuchi is my current favourite EDC pocket knife. Fun to flick, good steel, & designed for a variety of tasks.
What no Spyderco Kapara! Carson should get Civivi Elementum. And lets see Uncle Shakey's collection.
No Manix 2.......how dare you ! ☝🏻🤨
f m it’s my favorite!
Manix 2 - my favorite Spyderco
Agree 💯 manix 2 ! Was probably in the box but was shakin out in delivery

Bring on that knife collection
I don’t own a spiderco, but I got my buddy at work a para 3 and I’m thinking I need one for myself!!! Keep making these great videos!! Love them all.
The Para 3 is an awesome knife for sure!
Did you get one?
Carson needs a Civivi Elementum. Best all-around, reasonably-priced, comfortably-sized EDC that's approachable in design, smooth in action, and has a quality blade steel for daily use. Plenty of color options as well!
These are all the reasons we love that knife! That, and the people over at CIVIVI are awesome!
Tenacious for the win. A great value knife IMO
It really is, a stronger knife than the delica for a cheaper price.
The knife steel is literally dogshit.
Some Guy it’s perfectly fine for most edc tasks, only thing bad is it’s a bit old
Any other spyderco knife around the same price range that could compare to tenacious ?
@@stevec7435 alcyone and polestar with cts-bd1 steel for ~$70
Yes to Uncle Shaky collection. Always good to see people’s varied knives. Only Spyderco is Para 3 lightweight. No regrets at all

I really like the format and personal observations and opinions. TY
You do realize that Spyderco has been doing light weight knives well before Benchmade.....😁
Literally looked this up last night and here you are making a video, thanks guys 👍🏼
We do what we can 😎
Definitely want shakys collection and also he has to show us his chest tattoo! Or explain what that green thing is peaking out of his shirt 🤷♂️
You had a great first knife in the vid for Carson, the Tenacious is a great knife without forcing a "crisis" after only his first week or so lol
I feel like Zac made more of an effort in the carving contest, so I'd give it to him. 🕷
I am almost afraid to see Shakey's knife collection. Good man, Carson! #GeauxSaints ⚜
Just picked up a spyderco manix 2 blurple in S110V. Completely adore it.
I have more Manix 2’s in my collection than any other knife. Where was the Manix?
An almost perfect knife imo
Yep ✊
You don't hear enough about the dodo I own the natural g10 with a satin blade and it is my favorite knife I'm glad to hear somebody finally talking about it
Love me a Native 5. Recently picked up a Maxamet version and damn is it sharp.

Yes, we want to see Uncle Shaky's knife collection!
The Tenacious was both my and my brothers’ second knives. It’s fantastic.
Carson should get a Benchmade Bugout, black blade and brass Flytanium scales to represent dem' Saints! Who Dat!
Yojimbo 2, hands down my favorite knife even among my shirogorov, razel, ZT's and Hinderer's. it literally just does everything well
Carson’s new knife: Yojimbo II
All hail the king of practicality and innovation, spyderco!!
Manix 2 always, that's why I have 18.
A fantastic design
18! I thought I loved the Manix 2
Yes, we need to see Shakey's knife collection! It's been a long time since I've had a Spyderco (had a couple Delica knives at various points), so I got myself a Manix 2 Lightweight and I'm loving it!
Let's see what uncle shakey is working with
Absolutely NEED uncle shakeys collection! Love those videos the most!
I am a professional chef and all my cooks get jelly when I bust out the spydiechef
I'll never forget the first time I saw a Spider Co knife. They are so bad ass and where way ahead of there time.
I never understood the whole “Made in China?! I’m not buying!” A good knife is a good knife...unless it’s from Pakistan.
benzjamin13 apparently you’ve never bought a true gas station knife. You’d understand if you buy one.
That's going to me a must see on Uncle Shakey's collection! Thanks for the great videos guys!
You definitely are going to need a water proof steel in space. Thanks nasa.... back to moon yet? Nope next year forusre🐑🐑
Spyderco foundry is my favorite

First knife purchases was a tenacious and it still finds pocket time 5 years later.
I just received my Spyderco Shaman from BHQ in the mail today!
I think that both of you deserve a round of applause for your soap carving.
Uncle Shakey’s knife collection NEEEEEDS to happen. Also I love the Cannibal Corpse hoodie!
I have an original Endura with the integrated plastic pocket clip and fully serrated blade made in Seki City Japan. I bought it in 1989 at the AF base I was stationed at.
Para2 is the only knife i think about getting a second one , the second i Received my First one- its so goooood! Im using it all the time !
I love my Spyderco Delica Damascus Titanium! And I just ordered the Spyderco Salt 2 Wharncliffe Serrated, can't wait for it to get here.
Currently adding to my collection-- just added my "Grail" Spyderco: old-school cool Stainless Police (plain edge) -- have LOVED this knife since I was a kid and would see at shows or in shops.
I just added this to my collection! It was used in training day and I've wanted it ever since I saw the movie.
Everyone absolutely wants to see Uncle Shakey’s knife collection!
Cannibal Corpse Hoodie makes the whole Knife Banter infinitely better.
The veteran of the Great Spyder Wars is my pick for best soap spider. The story sold it.
Well Carson you can't go wrong with thw Bugout obviously just about everybody else who works wit you has at least 1. Great suggestions! He has been eyeing the Bugout.
I love the collection videos. And uncle shakey has been at BHQ forever, so I definitely want to see it.
The Yojimbo 2 (the wharncliffe of death) is my favorite Spyderco of all time. Unfortunately, the tip of my black M4 with natural G-10 broke off on a piece of plastic.
Diggin the CC hoodie Tyson! The Winkler fixed blade is a keeper too.
I'd have to say Zac won the soap carving. He had all the details from the eyes down to scars and amputations from aracna-warfare. 😂🕷️
We definitely need an uncle Shaky collection video
Let's see Uncle Shakey's collection! Zac's spider for the win! I have a Yojimbo & love it & it looks way cool!
Wow first time I see a video like this what a cool show u guys have!
YES! I was disapointed to not see a Smock on the table, that's what I'm carrying today, awesome knife
Did you watch to the end?
Ha ha yeah I phrased that wrong, I meant I was disapointed until that moment
Been carrying a Clipit Rescue serrated blade for almost 30 years and a Schrade Uncle Henry LB7 for almost 40 years.
