Picked up a Caribbean for a marine electric job I started recently and it is unparalleled for its purpose. The blade steel doesn't rust, similar to the H1, and it matches up to s30v with durability and its sharpening qualities. The grooved 3d g10 handle is like nothing else. The sheepsfoot with the "wharncliffe" (which has a little belly, but that's a technicality) is the way to go. Understandably, it won't be a fan favorite, but for all intents and purposes it is a boss knife. Keep up the awesome work, guys.
New Guy needs a Benchmade Mini Griptilian. My first one handed folder was a Spyderco Clipit in the mid to late 1980s that lasted about 6 months before the integrated plastic clip broke off. I then went back to my traditional slipjoint pocket knives for a couple of years before I replaced the Clipit with a Mini Griptilian around 2002. I still use that Mini Griptilian, hard to go wrong with that.
I just got my first Spyderco in the mail today, a Tenacious. Now suddenly I have a PM2 coming tomorrow. It took me just a couple hours to decide I was ready to take the next step. 😃
My favorite Spyderco is the Manix 2. I have four, including LW. If I were a guy that needed to work with knife a lot, that would be my choice. I used to carry a lot but have gone smaller. Now my main carry goes between Lil Native, G10 and the Dragonfly 2 LW and G10. I own several other variations, including the Para 2. Spyderco, please make a mini-Manix!!
I have a Para 3 with a Lynch clip. I love it. Only one knife in my collection edges it out. Benchmade Griptilian with the thumb hole blade and the Benchmade mini deep carry clip. It's like a perfect hybrid of Benchmade and Spyderco. Flicks even better than my Para 3.
I agree with George about the Tenacious. Great first knife. Kept me going for a few years until I found BladeHQ.... Now I have a PM2, P3 Lightweight, Lil Native, Delica, Endela, Endura, Assist, Bug, Dragonfly Salt, Pacific Salt, and Atlantic Salt.... and I'm waiting desperately for someone to make a M390 Shaman.
Let me tell you something Mean Gene! You gotta have the red and yellow scaled, Hulkamania themed Spyderco brother! It doesn't matter if it's the Para 3, it doesn't matter if it's the lightweight version and it doesn't even matter if you got the Spydiechef, clanging and banging in the kitchen like me dude! You always gotta have your knife brother, just like Chaz Ware in the bungee match in 1993 when he had to cut himself free from the bungee once the match was over brother!
Carson needs a Civivi Elementum. Best all-around, reasonably-priced, comfortably-sized EDC that's approachable in design, smooth in action, and has a quality blade steel for daily use. Plenty of color options as well!
You don't hear enough about the dodo I own the natural g10 with a satin blade and it is my favorite knife I'm glad to hear somebody finally talking about it

There is literally a Spyderco for everybody. That and Sal. The man has personally offered to buy back a forum member's Delica if they they bought one and didn't like it. That kind of confidence and belief in one's craft is rare.

I have two Spyderco knives. My first one is an Eddie Bauer ladybug from 1992 that has been on my keychain ever since. My second is a Dragonfly Salt I bought this past year from Bladehq. I never leave the house for a run without it.
My favorite Spiderco knife wasn't on the table, and it's a SAGE 5. I have a PM2, Para 3, Manix, Tenacious, Delica, but I love the Sage 5 more than all the others! And yes, I want to see Uncle Shaky's collection. 👍

Every time I try and Alpha out at a bbq and spydie flick to open a steak, I end up either half opening, cutting myself like some sort of tribute or flat out throwing my knife across the yard. I'm not great at the flick, to be honest.
Hi guys, love watching your knife videos. I love knives and used to manufacture some long ago. My carry knife is a Byrd and as far as I know is designed by Spyderco but manufactured in China, had this one for many years and must say went thru hell and it hardly had any sharpening just drag it on a ceramic rod and all is done. My knife is named " Crow" thanks you all.
I have an original Endura with the integrated plastic pocket clip and fully serrated blade made in Seki City Japan. I bought it in 1989 at the AF base I was stationed at.

Well Carson you can't go wrong with thw Bugout obviously just about everybody else who works wit you has at least 1. Or if you're into assisteds the Kershaw Knockout is coming out with an M390 Carbon Fiber Sprint( high end scales, high end steel great "knife guy" knife), or the OG model is on clearance because its discontinued, and having something people can't get anymore is kinda cool too. Good luck and try out a couple before you buy, you have that option don't take it for granted. Most of us have to make choices from pictures/videos.
Love your channel guys! My 2 EDC's are the Orange Endura4 w/ a Full Flat Ground VG-10 blade and the Para Military2 Black G-10 w/ a Full Flat Ground Black CPM-S30V blade...both carried Right hand, Tip-up. BTW, that Green G-10 Tenacious w/ Blk Blade looks awesome!
