Im glad that you gave a mention to the Hogue/Sig Sauer K320 - a knive that doesnt get much recognition, but is absolutely amazing. Ive had mine in pocket and used daily as landscaper for 12 months - never had to sharpen it, just strop, and still a razor! - amazing list, I see another purchase in my future, either PM2 or Deka! 👍👍
Great compilation, Neeves! I also like the Hogue Exemplar, and off-topic: Have you tested/reviewed the Civivi Stormhowl, with aluminum scales and Nitro-V steel? Thanks!
Kershaw is up there now wit gerber in my opinion as being able to produce in numbers that can stock big label stores and keeping prices so that anyone can afford one which means a made in USA knife that's durable and sharp dosent have to cost the same as a car payment
i believe rex 45 is just a smidge less tough than m4, and it’s high hardness so i don’t think it’s a very chippy steel. it’s tougher than s90v i know, i believe rex45 is about the same toughness as s30v while being quite a bit harder
@@NeevesKnives considering I already have a custom g10 version with s30v I know I’m going to love it. First knife that I will have 2 versions of in my collection. My personal favorite at this moment in time.
Wow. Two Tactile Mavericks (hrc 63-64, 64-65!), a Griptilian gift for a friend, the Shaman in 15V, American Blade Works Model 2, two Paramilitary 2s coming (MagnaCut, Maxamet), went with two Stretch 2s in K390, Manix 2 in S110V, and... the Spyderco Native Chief in Rex 45. Life is good.
My bro got me a reate gravity knife for xmas. Since then, I have fully committed to becoming a knife guy lol. Been watching youtube videos, looking for more to buy online. The reate gravity knife is just so cool, I can't stop playing with it lol

Love your info but being a bigger guy, I would love a video on recommended knives that are at least 3.75 inch blades. 3.75 to 4 inches is what I prefer and would love info on recommendations in this size. Keep em coming.
The only knives I would have put on this list that aren't here are the Native 5 and the Kershaw Livewire. Big agree on the Manix 2 LW, it's very tough for me to decide between that and the Native 5 as Spyderco's greatest knife ever.
I've had my first Kershaw for almost 10yrs now that I bought from Dicks Sporting goods, it has been the best 40$ I had spent as an EDC. Only up till about a year ago when I started digging into the knife collecting world has the Kershaw been put onto my magnet display shelf. My wife just got me the Yojumbo BladeHQ Jade edition for V-Day. I absolutely love it! Great list!
I first got the Kershaw launch 7 and it's such a cool knife but I thought it was a bit large for an EDC so returned it and went with the launch 18. Perfect. The launch knives I tried have a very strong spring so if you go with a big one just remember to keep a good hold when you open it.
No Love for TRM huh? Come on Jerad they definitely deserve to be on this list. Besides that awesome list bro! Can’t wait to get the Bel Air in from your site! 🔥🔪👍👊😎
Love the fact that you made a USA made video, I only wish more American knife manufacturers would make more flipper designs…. Because I absolutely detest thumb stud knives.
There were a couple times in this video i wanted to jump into the comments to mention the manix, for the steel options, locking system and price it comes at, only to watch to the end. Worth the wait lol
Thanks for the review(s)! I did use your link to GP Knives (not Knife Center, lol!) to order the Stormtrooper version of the Manix 2 Lightweight with Rex 45. I am eagerly waiting the arrival.
@@NeevesKnives Ok, I received it today from GP Knives. When I disengage the lock the blade closed but then it bounces out a couple of inches. Does this require some adjustment of the Ball Bearing Lock?
Use the latch to disengage the blade but let it go b4 the blade drops. It should keep the blade from bouncing back out. Keep playing with it you will be a pro. I have had a manix 2 in my pocket for almost 10ys and I still love mine. My latch spring was really stiff at 1st. A ceramic ball makes it soooo smooth if you ever want an upgrade.

I love my RSK Mini in MagnaCut besides the fact it totally eats pockets with the super strong clip upon super aggressive G10 scales. Great flipping review, as usual Jared!!

so if you are wanting the rex45 act fast they are almost gone, as far as between the cruwear or rex, they have a lot of the same qualities i love in a steel rex however does hold an edge longer and seems to hold a fine edge just as well as cruwear however i have not done a controlled test next to eachother. Cruwear and Rex take some of the sharpest edges however i do prefer the manix over the para 2
