I was okay with it, but I wondered how many people expected that when they dropped their knives.
My Infidel has a 3 3/4" length blade but the SOCP is 4 1/2" just right.
That's why the staff leave their customs at home in case of pocket check day!

Just gotta say it makes me happy every time you guys go around and interact with other staff. I've placed many an order with you and have had nothing but positive things to say about everyone who's helped me out. I have a little problem with my memory after an accident a little over a year ago now and everyone has been so patient with my orders and questions. Am I the only one or does anyone else shudder then a knife is dropped into the stocking and you hear it hit another knife. Worse than nails on chalk boards.

If that bothers you, Your head would explode if you saw how my knives look. I smash paint cans closed with them. Hammer nails. You name it. And they're not cheap knives. 940s, bugouts, 20CV grip, shaman etc. I couldn't care less about them. They're tools and I use them.
I have no problem digging through a pile of rocks or mud with a $300 knife and then putting it back in my pocket dirty and never cleaning it. Lol

Love my Launch 1. Glad someone was carrying a Kershaw Launch series knife. Pocket clips don’t matter either way to me that much. I love the pocket check videos!
There were fancier and more expensive knives there but my favorite is the 940-1. I’ve had 940’s for 20 years and love every single one
Always entertaining boys! As a new EDC guy, I bought the Bugout mini. Love the knife, US made, s30v! But I feel like it's "tired" now and I need to branch out into something else! I'm on it :). And no, I don't even use the pocket clip, but I'm sure it works for some folks.
The Liong Mah was definitely my favorite, but all of those knives were awesome, I'd carry any of them.
Been holstering my z-wear Shaman for a couple weeks now and she's a damn beast!

Deep carry depends on the knife, some standard ones work great. My launch 4 on the other hand had to be swapped because it kept falling out
Just got my Mini Freek in CF And S90V and immediately changed the pocket clip to deep carry. It's always been my preference to get that knife deep into my pocket. So yes, you CAN swap them! Zip~

I want my knife out in the open enough to get to it as quick and smooth as possible. Only knife I own with a 3" blade or shorter is a CRKT Minimalist. It's the Persian version with about a 3"blade neck knife that I wear outside my shirt. I purchased it 2 weeks ago and love it. That will be the only mini or little dinky knife I'll ever need. Usually I grab first my 6" blade Buck 119. It has completed every cutting job with ease.

I am always surprised how relatively rare neck knives are for EDC but my CRKT minimalist gears bowie (with glow in the dark sheath & grips) is literally the first thing I put on before my glasses and last that comes off.

The boker and the launch would be my picks. My wife may like the rose gold. The Malibu is really nice hope to get one one day. I seen mr complex front flip a shaman it can be done. 04:49 Get a Lynch Northwest clip. Finish is great, and smooth on the pocket as well. Super deep.
I feel that deep carry pocket clips are useful if you don't want people around you to know you are carrying a knife, especially for certain functions or states. Other than that, non-deep carry are good to use because you can easily get a good purchase when getting the knife out of your pocket
I feel the same way. Another reason for deep carry makes it harder to lose your knife when it gets caught up on something.
Have a love hate feeling towards deep carry clips like you stated its good for low profile but i find the moment the material of the pocket is too thick getting it out of the pocket leads to snags (front right pocket in my case has a reinforced leather hemming and back pocket hemming is cordura so i find deep carry clips not ideal)

It's SOG Terminus XR not SGO. Had to be Dallas that typed that one. Pocket clips don't matter to me. Kurt you have the best knife hands down. I would love to own one.

I love that 940 Benchmade I got that exact s90v from my friend for $140 because it was dull and he didn’t feel like sharpening it

2:42 Info for the standard 940 on screen, but this is the 940-1 in S90V & CF with blue barrel spacers. If they have it for sale at $191 I would be surprised, since it's $272!

My wife buys me knives for holidays. I in turn am a supportive wife myself and fund my wife’s crochet habit. I also get cute crocheted things, and my wife never has to open any boxes, so it’s a win-win!

Lately, the past couple years, I've left the clips on and used them. Prior to that, my EDC was always in a belt pouch, lanyard attached for ready availability! Recently, I'm @the point where I want nothing on my belt, OR in my pockets, preferring instead to use a messenger bag for all my day use impedimentia. Pocket clips STILL nearly universally cause me a "hot spot," but my blades don't get near the work they did in my younger days so that's not the worry it once was...
The 940 Osbourne is my all time favorite EDC knife.

The Dagger is coolest and different. Boker Arbolito, there’s something about the materials and design that I love.

My favorites are the Socom Elite, the Liong Mah KUF and the Chavez Ultramar.

Today I'm rocking a crkt M21-04g and a customized elementum in my 5th pocket(satin blade and liner with the guibortia wood scales...because I made my dad an all black original elementum for his bday)

Nice pocket check this time around. I'm not sure if I would have dropped my edc into a stocking full of other knives, but to each his/her own.
To be clear, If my knives get "battle worn" I'm cool with that, but I don't won't someone else's special knife getting fucked up.

I carry an Osborne green handle, s30v uncoated blade, a spyderco Para 3, and a case 2 blade folder.
I’m not obsessed with a deep carry pocket clip like some. I live in Texas and couldn’t care less who sees I’m carrying a knife. Most people aren’t looking at my pants. I’ve learned that without a DC clip the knife is easier to get out of my pocket as there’s more to grab onto.
I always like these videos seeing what everyone is carrying. I've been carrying my Launch 13 since I got it from Blade HQ. Just got a Kalashnikov and a Kalashnikov mini for a joint Christmas gift for my daughter and I. Can't wait to co carry those every day!

Here is my rating/ranting
#[1] Spyderco Shaman M4 probably has the best steel, has a nice shape and looks like a durable functional design.
#[2] Liong mah with the Elmax steel is super futuristic sci-fi looking and that is a high quality steel you can still sharpen.
#[3] Marfione socom elite Would be the M390 blade because it's made with M390 the best all around knife steel.

i like a deep carry clip on my 940-2 but i found you need to get the standard deep carry clip and not the mini one from the bugout, the mini one lands right on a screw and just tears pockets up

Ultum or however it’s spelt was used a ton in the vape industry. Not sure it had much of a place in the knife industry. I think it’s ugly but that’s an opinion. But I can garuntee it doesn’t have the strength g10 or micarta or even frn scales have. So I’d rather not have it

I don't mind deep carry but I prefer a little stick out, easier to pull out of the pocket and leaves room in the bottom of your pocket for change or whatever
