@@Lineproof well ezio dies at 65 which is incredibly old in them times in general, especially for an assassin but as far as I know bayek is about 48 at the end of the dlc in origins. That doesn't put him far behind ezio also bayek was born like 1400 years before ezio so medicine was a lot more primitive. I'd say 48 for bayeks time is incredible aswell, making them both the oldest and most dangerous in their fields
Altair managed to live to 92 while being alive in the 12th/13th centuries Not to mention being a high ranking individual in one of the most dangerous jobs on earth
The line that made Bayek terrifying to me is when the first guy says "You cannot run from us forever, we will find when you sleep". And Byek goes: "SLEEP?! I DON'T SLEEP! I WAIT IN THE SHADOWS!!"
Also, the fact that this guy took down 4 Giant Elephants, (he had to fight two of them at the same time) + all the opponents in the arena + being able to fight Lions, Crocodiles, Hippo's (HIPPO'S!), one-on-one. All that paired with his nearly superhuman reflexes, being able to use that mask to shield his face from a sudden throwing knife, and being able to just casually sidestep arrows like it's nothing. He dodged two of Hyena's arrows at a short range. (And the Hyena was known as a legendary archer).
@@maxm.m.7219 Absolutely true man. When i saw that scene i was amazed. If ubisoft worked little bit more on the narrative Ac origins had no competition. Ac origins is still the best game I've played.
@@sammysalgado1475 eh physically yes Connor is the strongest and arguably most brutal in fighting style bayek is dope don't get me wrong but his strength may be closer to Jacob then anything else (the other Brolic assassin in this line up) with Altair skill and fighting style he's brutal in the way he kills and extremely skillful. Connor on the other hand gives no fucks and is a fucking tank. Shoot him stab him it don't matter he's coming at you like a train plus it doesn't help he has ezio level skill
Altair canonically cleared out an entire army just to have a conversation with King Richard. He didn't break a sweat, he never canonically got injured in the entire game. And he did all of those while being of a perfectly sound and calm mind. Imagine what he'd do if he got angry. Oh wait, you don't need to. He ruthlessly hunted down and killed every Templar responsible for killing his past lover. Which explains his stoic, cold demeanor in AC1
if altair had never gotten canonically hit during the game, then how come it was possible to raise the synchronization bar? It's pretty much factual that it was just an early health bar.
@@k0ana889 the synchronization bar is how well in sync Desmond was in with him, like note how you never had healing items (from what I remember) and the bar raised on its own it was going back in sync with Altair
@@Dwayne_19K well the problem with that is it’s stated in the games that he has never taken a hit and the time that he does get hurt in a cutscene was a strait up illusion
The guy had an extremely clear cut idea of the differences between right & wrong, but also the old Native American tendencies to never give in, to not care about one's own life in war & to consider the kind of life he led as a very important responsibility on his shoulders.
Altair frightens me the most. He was raised as an assassin. There was no Before for him. He was raised to kill. Yes, Bayek's capacity for rage is disturbing but it's expected given that he lost his son. Altair is scary because he is not driven by rage, but by the hyperfocused drive to kill. He is cold and ruthless.
Connor’s finisher animation with the tomahawk where he hooks it under the enemy’s chin and hauls them over his back by just that tomahawk is such a display of brutality that I’d want nothing to do with being anywhere near him
This is what people don’t understand, Connor was a Native, people who were known to be more “brutal.” He was a unit of a man, and he was absolutely brutal in the way he killed his enemies. I mean the animations truly speak for themselves
@@theinsurance2450 Jins a formidable samurai, and very skilled with his tools. I feel like he'd lose to any assassin however just from their skills with any weapon.
I would pick Conner due to the fact that the devs wanted to implement a scalping feature for Connor but they thought that was a little to brutal for the game.
I feel like Adewale is not talked about enough. Born as a slave and escaping a plantation as a child is really brave of him. And the fact that he would do almost anything from freeing a plantation to hijacking slave boats to free slaves is very courageous of him, meaning he is also probably one of the strongest assassins.
@@Seventh27Seal honestly I don’t think it’s worth buying, I finished the 2 ac black flag dlcs (including freedom cry) in a couple of hours. Plus you don’t really get much ac lore if that’s what you’re into.
One of the things that makes Bayek so interesting is that he's probably the kindest main character in the series. Which is part of why seeing such a brutal and vicious rage from him can sometimes seem so disturbing.
I agree, he is such a nice person and just wants to help people but when he gets mad, my lord does he get mad. He barely saw Shadya at all and had a few interactions with her but when he found out she was killed and who by, he beat them to death while screaming Shadya’s name to make sure it was the last name they heard. A great friend and ally, an even worse opponent.
Something about Bayek I like is how fast his personality shifts in a snap. He could be drinking and laughing with Hepzefa in one moment, being romantic with Aya in another, or selflessly helping strangers in their time of need. Then the next second he's ripping through an entire fortress of enemies with a war cry that makes Satan want to go to church and pray for his life. It's scary knowing this kindhearted dude is also out for blood in the most brutal way possible. If I saw him walk towards my with his hidden blade out, I'm throwing myself into a pit of crocs to end it quicker Just proves that the nicest people can be the absolute worst when you push them too far.
Yeah I’d just go through side quests hanging out with kids and stuff and talkings to npcs and I do a main mission and he’ll be bashing a dudes head in while screaming at the top of his lungs
Arena mode a good example of his raging side 💯 plus the equipment you get on that game, hepzefa sword and the Gifts from the gods bro that game was solid asf but riding a camel sucks ass😂
For me it’s Edward, the fact that he is such a notorious and deadly pirate wiping out entire ships on his own with no issue and having his pirate crew coming with him, Edward’s reputation in the game is also something that makes him terrifying, some of the templars you go and assassinate will talk about Edward as if he’s the devil incarnate
Another reason for Connor's fear factor: At the time of Assassins Creed 3, Basically everyone was racist, and saw American Indians as brutal, murderous savages. So, that's probably how most of his enemies saw him. Racism sucks, but in terms of fear, it kind of worked to Connor's advantage. Also, he fights with a freakin' axe. Also Edward would be pretty scary because he is literally a pirate. They're whole thing is terrifying their enemies into surrendering. The Jolly Roger flag was a thing because it basically signaled: "Surrender, or we will brutally murder you." Also, Edward's extremely brutal fighting style. Pirates also utilized brutality in order to increase their fear factor (and also because they usually had no training)
The racism thing is also the same reason Adewale would be scary for some people. Imagine you just put some slaves into chains ready to transport them to their new owner and you see him running towards you.
I always liked the fact that Connor was Ubisofts first take on a playable "Brute Assassin", just being an absolute war machine and that cold ass stare he had made me feel bad for some of the targets you'd chase.
Edward, the man, isn't particularly frightening I feel, but when the hood goes on and he's in the zone he almost feels like a different character. I get a real "Ghost of the Sea" vibe as he dances through enemy crews. Seeing the black flag on the high seas is scary enough, but looking down and seeing those white robes grinning back at you, you'd know your fate was sealed.
What's also Terrifying about Edward to the templars is that no one knew who he even was and the panic that probably struck them realizing "Duncan" was not who he said you can't even imagine and the Assassins only barely tolerated him and his ways suspecting that he would probably sell them out again to the Templars if it fancied him
And in the game some of the templars you hunt talk about you as if you’re the devil giving you names like the terror of the sea and basically confirming they’re afraid of Edward Kenway
What gives Edward an edge imo is the fact that he fights dirty. Sure, he's not the only one, but I've never seen any other AC character fight as dirty as he does.
@@azahel542 And also in main missions he's always like "You don't need to kill somebody for this!" and other crap of this type for us to just, uhm, mass kill guards in the way for fun just because you want it to appear yellow on the map.
By the end he has the trust of the order and is a very well known very dangerous pirate. He would draw terror from any who were unfortunate enough to come across him much less his actual targets
I remember one of the trailers for AC1 where all the templars are in a room arguing about how Altair is just unstoppable and then one of them just falls over. Altair is the scariest because you know that even if you don't see him he's there, that no matter where you hide of who protects you, he will get to you. If I was in the shoes of one of his targets, I would be paranoid as hell.
Altaïr only gets to that level however once he finally stops fucking around and fully embraces the Creeds teachings instead of breaking each tenet within the first 5 minutes
Reflected in gameplay, since the further you progress, the cities are perpetually on high alert because of the boogeyman known as Altair coming into town.
@@ajaykumarsingh702 nobody said shit about Bayek, in the first assassin's creed game Altair literally spends the entire first mission saying "fuck the creed we don't need that shit", and getting all of his colleagues fucked up.
In AC1 the health bar for Altair is a synchronization bar so throughout all the playable sections Altair never got hurt once. Imagining an untouchable and ruthless assassin that defeated a man weilding an apple of eden without a scratch is absolutely terrifying.
Yeahhh… that’s just a gameplay perspective though, he’s definitely not untouchable, but he is a menace. I think canonically, no assassin we played with gets damaged when we the player have control of them, the only logical time for a character in a video game story to take damage is if they take damage in a cutscene as part of the story. Kinda like how Altair got stabbed at the beginning of the game
@@timothyriley4604 no it literally isn't. It's 100% canon that Altair doesn't get hit whether you agree with it or not. "Kinda like how Altair got stabbed at the beginning of the game" yet another thing that doesn't happen lmaoo Guess you ignored the bit where Al Mualim *_quite literally_* says he showed you an illusion, implying he used the Apple. It would be an extremely stupid line to put in otherwise. If he truly got stabbed, what exactly is the illusion Al Mualim refers to then?
@@The_world_is_not_worthy_of_Him nah, see that’s the thing. No developer ever came out and confirmed this. It’s just a health bar. No need to believe Altair is untouchable, he definitely isn’t, my guy got literally yeeted through a pile of wood destroying the exit to the cave at the beginning of the game. So yes, an attack was landed on him definitely, and easily too. To say that he’s just so good that he could never have even gotten a scratch on him is a joke
The Raging Gamer They're all synchronisation bars. Altair got his ass thrown through a wall in the beginning of the game, and then spend his time writing and inventing for the Creed. Not as many chances to get hit, even if you guys were to be right in some way.
Connor has some great lines as well. Ones that show he's confident in his abilities which can make him scary. Like Putnam saying he suggests doing impossible things and calls him mad, and Connor just leans in and goes "I expect an apology on my return." And then him telling Washington "Enjoy your victory, Commander. It will be the last I deliver you." Connor gives me the vibes of someone who is usually kind or quiet and people think they can take advantage of him, then he says or does something that makes them go "oh shit"
Connor's line to hickey is one of the coldest lines in the series. "I will not die today. The same cannot be said for you." The fact that Connor said this right before he was about to be hanged makes it even better than it already was
It's more like he's overconfident, i mean, he just bratted about all he did but he really didn't even cared if what he was doing would work at all, just remember how this got him jailed, buyed by the patriots, and barely killed by Haytham.
I see Ezio around Brotherhood and Revelation as the scariest, because just imagine being a Templar around that time. Ezio is a literal boogeyman for their order, taking out leader after leader, group after group
For me it’s probably Altair, as a lot of comments already state: he was raised into this job and is ruthless. He isn’t overly brutal like Bayek which doesn’t make him any less scary. The fact that he can, and will, just sneak up on you and finish the job before you even know he’s there is incredibly terrifying to me. He doesn’t look for the fight, and avoids it if possible, he’s there for the efficiency I think what makes him scary, really, is that he doesn’t really hate his victims. They’re a job for him and he doesn’t have a huge emotional motivation to this as Bayek does. I think at the point when the game starts he’s kind of slipped so far from humanity that he tends to forget his targets are human at all if what I mean is understandable
Bayek and Connor are physically intimidating while also having that “intimidating” aura when approaching. While Altair has more of a lurking, haunting intimidation that scares you. Definitely top 3. Some of the other ones are intimidating in a fight but walking up to you, they seem like they could be too friendly with their jokes and such.
Arno is terrifying because he is a ghost. Imagine a force that you never see, slowly closing in around you, your friends being replaced by clouds of smoke and then corpses. There's more to fear than fighting.
Another point for Edward, at least during the early and mid parts of Black Flag, is that he’s a wild card. He wears the robes and wields the blade, but he holds not to the Creed but to his own glory which makes him unpredictable for both Templars and Assassins, the Templars just plain seeing him as an enemy. Enemies keep underestimating him, and he keeps coming back from situations he should be stuck in. He was put on a slave ship but managed to escape and steal a ship, during a fierce storm no less. Roberts thinks he’s stuck in the Observatory then sells him into slavery, but Edward comes back. Short of killing him right in front of you he will come back to deal with you.
Not finished with Black Flag, but does he officially become a Brotherhood member? To me he’s in the same boat as Eivor. He helps out (because of his own actions), but so far it’s like you said, he wears the robes and has the blades only.
jinxie712 He does get inducted, although it’s offscreen iirc. He travels a lot investigating Precursor sights, it was his notebook that led Haytham to the Temple in 3 (how he got it is revealed in Forsaken).
Altair spent an entire lifetime as an assassin, from when he was just a little kid till his dying breath, and he made it to 92 years of age, which I think is the natural lifetime record we’ve seen so far. He lived by the blade, made countless enemies, had to put down his own mentor, he fought the Mongols and his wife was killed, but no one ever managed to kill him. That’s insane for his line of work, which goes to show how much fear and respect he must have generated from his enemies. If I remember correctly, even some of the young assassins from Masyaf let him enter the castle without a fight when he returns to take revenge on Abbas in that flashback from AC Revelations
The scariest part about him is the fact that he spent his entire life being in a dangerous job, the type that you can just drop dead suddenly and he died of old age on his own terms. Imagine living everyday as you can just die suddenly by someone often close to you, but somehow surviving through all of it until your last years.
I think the reason Altaïr is more terrifying is BECAUSE Bayek killed out of rage and vengeance, while Altaïr could be just as brutal, all while being cold and collected, a true killer, not just rage killing. Like he said, a lot of the assassins would like interrogation targets go, Altaïr killed them all so there weren't witnesses, keeping him further in the shadows to make his kill.
Yeah i have to add to that. One thing i love about the first assassins creed that is never replicated again is the atmosphere. Ac1 feels so mystical and cold. Altair adds to this atmosphere because he feels like a big feline cat that stalks you and you won’t even know it. His calm and calculated nature is whats scary. To me he is truly what an assassin is. Shits scary in my opinion. Altair just feels like a ‘being’ or ‘force’ out there to get you
The thing that makes Altair the scariest is his mentality. Sure, others are stronger, faster, more ferocious, but nobody will go the lengths that Altair did. This dude will burn the world to accomplish his mission. That's what makes him the most terrifying.
@@saintsocky1346 similar, but not the same. Connor cares about his people above all else, and Ezio ends up dropping the creed to become death incarnate. Altair on the other hand was an Assassin for his entire life, not like from 5 or 6, no DAY FUCKIN ONE he was an Assassin, and he stayed an Assassin until he died at *92* and nobody killed him, he just passed away.
Jack the Ripper. I know he's not on the list, but he was an Assassin and you get to play as him in the DLC. I think even Connor would be creeped out by him.
Conor would be to caught up in his rage to be scared of what he’d assume is a psychopath who gets off on killing women. Conor is a beast who slaughters armies, Ripper is an assassin who because a murder.
dude even before bayek killed medunanun, that one guy threw a dagger at him and he blocked it with a mask and then made him wear the mask pushing the blade into his face? bayek is terrifying.
I’m playing unity again right now and I think a case can be made for Arno. Arno is not physically that scary especially because a lot of civilians see him as a mascot almost. I think the idea of Arno is scary though, especially if you use the stealth in the game to its fullest extent. I think Arno embodies the blade in the crowd mentality because he’ll throw a smoke bomb kill everyone and leave without a trace. Arno would be scary not because he looks it but because the stealth he uses makes him seem almost supernatural sometimes and I think that would be frightening to know he’s after you.
Arno is scary indeed but the villains in the game are not even that scared of him. One of them even taunts him ( I think in the sewer mission ). And Germain doesn't seem phased by him. They could have subtly established that Arno is a scary guy. Meanwhile the templars know about Ezio and are constantly looking out. And at the near end of AC3 Charles Lee is so terrified of Connor that he runs when he catches a glimpse of him.
I would agree with you since stealth gameplay peaked in the series with Unity. Sure, we can all say the same thing with the other protagonists but Arno is just the perfect textbook stealth assassin.
Connor is by far the most physically imposing, and Bayak terrifies me in his own right. But the looming fear of Altaïr hiding in plain sight and stalking you without knowing when he will strike is what makes him the most terrifying in my eyes. He exemplifies an assassin in every way and I think it really paved the way for these more violent characters. But the human imagination I think is what makes something the most terrifying and Altaïr utilizes that like no other assassin in the franchise.
Personally, I'd say Bayek. His mentality is shown with so much emotion in that first kill. There's nothing in that man's eyes but pure anger. Not to mention, when he kills Medunamun, he does not care. He's holding the Apple of Eden and he just sees it as a weapon to exact revenge.
I think the most frightening part of Connor is, yes he fought against the red coats, but overally he never fully chose a side. He just fought whoever was against his people. And he could take down an entire army pretty much to himself. He was unpredictable for both armies as far as whether he'd fight them or help them fight. At least that's what I've gotten from playing. He was fighting for what's right. He even called out Sam Adams. Just my thoughts.
I’d definitely still consider Conner the most intimidating, but he isn’t one to kill unnecessarily, at least within the context of the story. And even as powerful as you feel using a war club in ac3, that bayek scene is definitely the scariest thing I’ve seen in an ac game.
Altair is definitely terrifying but he's one of the most effective assassins meaning his targets don't even get to feel scared before he sticks his blade in them, meanwhile Connor had his targets running for their lives constantly. They always give him a chase, but imagine being the one he's chasing. Must feel like a horror movie, honestly.
I'm actually most scared of Arno. You don't see him coming. One second you're having a casual walk, the next you're drinking with some friends, then you go home and before you can open the door to your bedroom, you're already dead. Intimidation be damned. I'm not messing with an invisible force.
Altair was definitely the scariest, particularly because there was just no fighting him and surviving. He also had no real animosity towards most of his enemies which I found more terrifying because he’s not out to hurt you. He’s out to end you and he has a lifetime of talent and training at his disposal to decide how to do it. Old man Ezio is scary for the opposite reason I think. He has a lifetime of experience but he is letting go of the creed in his final years and just becoming a force of death. The sheer amount of destruction he can cause on his own makes him feel more like a terminator than an assassin. Edward earns my third spot for being just as terrifying as Connor without any of the Justice and morality to hold him back. Edward is going to brutalize you and he has no qualms doing it to just about anyone. It’s not about efficiency or targets he’s just gonna kill you. He’s not quite the unit Connor is but twinblades, four pistols, and a pirate flag on an assassin are scary enough on their own. I don’t really consider Bayek an assassin for the same reasons I wouldn’t consider Eivor one. Also special mention for Aveline being as deadly as Connor and actually succeeding in her ultimate mission to excuse corruption.
Well, I would say that Edward is only scary at the begining of the game. Since at the begining he's just here to kill anybody who has a little fortune and cooperate to get a paycheck. He would sink ships, work with Blackbeard, steal everything that has a great cost and empty entire villages of it's guards (me when bored lol). At the end he was more trying to fix his reputation or something by taking good care of himself, dodging useless deaths, making honor to his friends, get back to his kids and such. At the end he just gave a damn about what could hurt others instead of not caring about anyone and just wanting his little fortune. And I'm a dumb child so Idk if I'm correct or no, I'm just using my memories from black flag since I didn't read any wikipedia, lore, facts or watched any gameplay before writing this comment. Sorry.
Ok let me say this they were all assassins and equally terrifying in their own way I think what we’ve all been doing is dancing around the fact that they’re assassins one way or another they know how to kill and will do so bayek is terrifying due to his experience wisdom and emotion Altair for his well known ability to walk into a fight and come out unscathed ezio for letting go of the creed and becoming death itself Connor for taking on an entire fkin army and coming out alive Edward because he literally takes on an entire ship of people on his lonesome you get what I’m trying to say.
@@dratackt2555 no, Edward had tales told of him across lands and seas bro, black beard was scared of him, this was just in Egypt, Edward was most feared most likely, but out of just known through the assassin's? Definitely Altair or Ezio
Bayek for me is the scariest, especially on the earlier part of Origins. You never, ever stand in the way of a man seeking revenge, that's some scary shit especially if you are the target.
Connor look is frightening to death. Imagine a giant with hidden face and blades coming at you at full speed. atltair is actually good but I doubt you could see him before the confession.
I think I agree with Bayek, I started playing Origins again, and those execution scenes of the targets are really something else compared what we have seen before. Connor would be close too, but knowing Connor is likely to spare you if he interrogates you, I wouldn't be that afraid. But raging Bayek wouldn't give you a single drop of mercy
So they say Conner is the only assassin who never killed innocent people and I just don’t get that the only one I’ve seen kill innocent people is Altair but that’s it and it’s especially hard to imagine the Frye twins killing innocent people
@@Mohamad-m7md I am not saying Connor is the only one who shows mercy, there are plenty who do, like for example Ezio showed mercy to Rodrigo Borgia in AC2 when he could have killed him in the end, Edward showed mercy to some ships crew by recruiting them to his naval squad and there is more too, but in the sake of this contest and the top 3 being Bayek, Connor and Altair, Connor would be the best chance to get out alive, cuz Altair leaves no witnesses and Bayek would most likely beat you to bloody pulp.
@@The_king567 Bayek isn't the same kind of Assassin we had been customed to in previous games, but I think he still counts as an Assassin, at least after the main game in the DLC's, where Bayek and Aya make the Hidden Ones which would become Assassins Creed later
For me, Altair. He's killed assassin's as well as templars, and if I was just walking down a street and saw a pure white hooded figure approaching me, I would be sealing my fate. He's quiet and the definition of hiding in plain site and just ruthless. He is the scariest.
The reason why Altair had simple white robes was to blend in with the scholars. Imagine shitting your pants every time a scholar walked by talking about math or whatever they talked about. Like you legit wouldn’t know if they were just some nerd or Altair ready to send you. That, to me, is scary. That’s also why Ezio was scary to me. He would play dress up and managed to convince those soldiers working for the Borgia that he knew the way to the Banker when he was bullshitting the whole time. While in-game it wasn’t hard, in canon that must’ve been hard to pull off. Ezio could pretend to be ANYONE and would be convincing, too. You really couldn’t trust anyone.
The Most Aggressive and Ruthlees are the Scariest for me Altair, Connor and Bayek are the Top one's i know they really showed no mercy that's why i find them the scariest.
I find people who show mercy more intimidating, for example, Ezio. It takes a very strong person to show mercy to those you hate with a burning passion.
Bayek - Scary due to strength, rage, and experience Connor and Ezio - Scary due to being 1 man armies and also experience Altair - Scary because of experience and the fact that he will kill anyone to complete his objective Personally I think all 4 of them are on the same level of how scary they are for separate reasons
I just started playing my first assassins creed game being origins and ngl, this game is so much fun but also “shocked” me with how brutal bayek was at the beginning 😅 I’m not sensitive to those things, I love them but I never thought it would be so “graphic” if that’s the right word, it’s so cool, definitely gave me a good impression of assassins creed as a whole 👌
Same. Origins is the only AC game i've played as of now. I can't tell you how many times i've replayed the story and DLCs. I'm even replaying it again now, in Nightmare Difficulty, my first time playing this difficulty. And since I was already Level 55 when I started, I feel like it's not as challenging as it could be. But regardless, it can be very difficult if I'm not careful. Seriously. A Phylake literally two-shotted me when I tried fighting him. And I'm honestly *petrified* of The Curse of The Pharaohs DLC.
I feel like scariness is very much related to the ability to predict something. If you know what someone is capable of, then you can plan around it and anticipate. The reason assassins were scary around Altairs time, was the fact that they pushed themselves further than other people and were incredibly skilled on top of that. Connor is measured violence in a way. He knows where he wants to go and he will go there no matter what. Bayek is more like unlimited fury. If you dont wrong him, you are basically okay. Wrong him though and he will get you six ways to sunday no questions asked. If we make this a physicial contest like you have to beat an assassin face to face, then i feel like Connor is the scariest one. He is arguably the strongest and has more skills under his belt than Bayek, as Connor lived in two worlds and learned from most of them. If however we make it a scenario where you know an assassin is hunting you, then it would have to be Ezio. He has the most gadgets available to him, the most insane plans to get to his targets and he is the most likely to beat whatever counter measures you put up against him. tl,dr: In a physical fight its easily Connor. In a contest of a hunt where Ezio is more capable to be innovative and the most likely to beat your counter measures, then he takes the win.
Debatable, I wouldn't say Connor could be countered either, his sheer will and skills will stop any templar. I am not underestimating ezio too, he literally used the flying machine to get to his target once and it is super smart. But Connor also went to extreme measures in the later parts of the game, he took part in the battle of (chepsake?) to gain a captain's trust then bombard the military district to kill charles lee. To kill pitcairn he crossed a literal battlefield with thousands of muskets being fired every few seconds and killed him undetected. Either way all of the assassins are scary and I wouldn't last a day when hunted by them.
@@Basisreallycool I would say it is Arno and the Frye Twins. Arno is bad at fights unlike Connor,Ezio or Altair so he has to always take the stealth way. If you observe carefully Arno's missions are designed in a way so that you can escape totally undetected or escape in a very short time. Altair has to run around the town after killing someone and hide. Plus altair don't have much tools. He only has a hidden blade, a sword, a dagger and some throwing knives.
Bayak is hardcore, like Mel Gibson "give me back my son" hardcore, buy anger and hatred only go so far and can lead to mistakes. Connor on the other hand can and does take out an entire army by himself much like his Grandfather Edward who took out an entire Navy by himself. Must be something in the genes that sees British military units as a stress relief doll, just place it in your hand and squeeze. But all in all it has to be Edward, no one in the Assassins Creed series had an entire army at their command or in this case a pirate fleet. Remember the old question who would win, pirate vs ninja...answer Edward, he's both. Great video once again MasterAssassin.
I feel like this list definitely works for once the actual fight starts, but if I was a Templar finding out an Assassin's on my tail, and one of my informants says "My lord... it's... it's Ezio Auditore." I'd consider just ending it there to save Ezio some time.
“A warning to you both: choose to follow me or oppose me, and I will kill you.” Said with complete seriousness to Haytham Kenway, his own father and Grandmaster of the Templar Order of the Colonies, and George Washington, General of the Continental Army and future first President of the United States. Yeah, Connor Kenway wins.
Big agree. The man fought to save his people at any cost, he even killed his own father. Come on. Altair however was also a one man army and killed his mentor too, so i would pick them both top 1
@@N7Ronin According to Ubisoft Jacob Frye is physically the strongest and if Assassin Adjacent characters would be allowed it would be Eivor since Vikings were known for their sheer Brutality but just going with Assassins it's a hard choice since Altair is a blade in the crowd Connor is a tank Edward is the ghost of the sea and Ezio is the Master Assassin and the only one who can actually Backflip in heavy armor
And the craziest part is when we get too Connor in ac3 he’s actually really young when he fought in the revolution. He was about 24 to 25 years old. Imagine getting your whole squad wiped out by a kid (from an older adult you consider anyone under 30 a kid)
Bayek is the scariest. I mean just the voice acting, the lines, the delivery and the emotions coming from Rudjek (His First Kill) was mire than enough from me. I mean even though I was playing as him I could literally feel the fear of his enemy. This is literally the best line of the entire game: "Sleep? I never sleep, I just wait. In the shadows. And I will kill you all. Everyone who sniffed the air that day in Siwa." The fear in Rudjeks eyes was amazing.
And another thing, I believe that if you get an enemy(be it a bandit or soldier) to a low amount of health, they'll sometimes try to run away. It's almost like they can see the red skull icon over Bayek's head(the one where it shows that an enemy is too dangerous for you).
For me it would be Edward. Not only is he an extremely skilled man, he was so strong that the world's most feared man said that he dared not meddle in Edward's affairs. If Blackbeard himself isn't willing to step up to him, best believe he's not a man to mess with
Ok here me out. Altiair’s enemies only knew him as the man with the white hood. At least you know who the other assassin were and had the potential to recognize them
I remember spending ages just looking at Connors running animation from the front back when ac 3 first came out just admiring how much of a behemoth he looked 😂 like f being the guy who turns around to see THAT barrelling towards you at full tilt with tomahawk in one hand and and a knife in the other
Connor, no doubt. Imagine just doing your job and walking through the woods when suddenly a rope dart launches & hangs your getaway man in the air, your lower ranks protecting the behind suddenly collapse and suddenly there's a huge, giant of a hulking native wielding a Tomahawk charging at you - and the last thing you see is the blade of his axe coz he spares no one.
I think Bayek would scare me the most. I'm not sure what it is about him, but I think it's how violently determined he is and his sheer rage that can't be stopped. Connor is scary in a "they're in the trees" sort of way. Like I can't imagine marching through the woods and seeing soldiers hanging from the trees or tomahawked to death. Or being in a battle, and just seeing this insane, gigantic man suicidally charging through no man's land with an axe.
I’m taking Connor and Bayek any day of the week as the scariest assassins. Connor pulled up and rushed A British army on a horse in the trailer and I’m surprised he hasn’t died that is the most terrifying even the Commander was like Oh shit. And Bayek, Man be literally having those Kratos moments where he’s gets so pissed he beats his enemies to death. And the beginning with Rudjek and the part where he beat the dogshit out of Medunamun with sheer anger was absolutely terrifying it’s fucking amazing.
something i notice about conner is in the remastered version, the other player character outfits still use the proportions of their original character. and i am so impressed with just how massive conner's shoulders are, like if a cutscene started with him counting pullups and he was reaching like 10,000 it would be completely believable
I just finished playing as Edward Kenway, an it was fun. I don't know why but I loved one of his diologues, "Dont save a spot for me in hell, I ain't comming soon" after an assassination. That was amazing 🔥
Bayek when he is angry is terryfing. But that AC 1 psp trailer made me feel like altair is the most deadly, and irt must have caused so much stress to know there is no way you can even counter attack when altair decides to strike
The montage of evidences for Connor made me giggle way more than I was expecting xD although, I go for Ezio. Especially AC II Ezio. His targets were absolutly terrified at the idea of facing him. He was scary to them because of his incredible charisma and almost theatrical way of showing himself in his search for revenge. He was a demon to their eyes.
For me the scariest ones are Altair and Ezio. Altair because he was literally raised in one direction: to kill. Ezio because of his intelligence and skill to adapt to situation. Plus his long experience. Both of them are ruthless and even brutal sometimes in fight. Both of them can calculate with peace in mind. That's what makes them the most scary amongst the Assassins
Plus they managed to survive until 80 for Ezio and 92 for Altair. And both died of natural causes. They were so good at their jobs that they had to be taken out by nature.
I don't think much has to be said about why Connor deserves the no 1 spot,so I'll just say this. There is no Assassin in the entire series that is as lazer focused as he is when it comes to achieving his goals. And the lengths he's willing to go to do just that... I can't even imagine standing in his way.
Man was so pissed that he got the balls to take an entire army by himself and tank the shockwave of cannonball in front of him twice and then he just stands up and walks away. Plus just listen the frontier battle music perfectly fits with Connor and the way he fights.
I feel like you always underestimate the Frye twins. They're both brutal hand-to-hand brawlers, and their execution animations with the cane sword can be quite drawn-out and painful-looking.
The British gangsters of that time were known to be notoriously cruel in how they’d assault/kill people, so they have that going for them as far as scare factor
I think the thing with the twins is that in a hand to hand fight they will beat you and there are no questions asked but in most other situations other assassins outperform them
I think ezio is the most visually frightening, especially when he is standing in shadows. The way he looks in the brotherhood trailer before he starts walking… He looks like an angel of death pretty much.
Going in to the video I thought Connor for sure but you've convinced me when Connor kills because he has to and not so much out of anger but Bayek makes sure every one of the Order suffers before death purely out of anger
My favorite moment of ever playing an assassins creed game was when I was playing as Connor and fist only took out like 80 guys without dying(for whatever reason the game just kept spawning more and more guys so it was just a never ending fight). Man really is a one man wrecking crew😂.
I must say I agree with the top 3.... BUT! I cannot imagine the fear in Borgia's soldiers when they see Ezio running towards them with a BROOM! This is truly the deadliest weapon out there and the fact that Ezio had access to it makes him the most scary one.
Before you even started talking I said “Conner”. Some of his executions as well as his fighting style was animalistic, brutal and just fantastic. Conner also felt the best to play out of all the AC’s I played
I agree, Bayek is defiantly the scariest assassin just from those first few opening cutscenes of the game alone. Also you should do a which assassin has the best outfit, idk what you’d call it tho who’s the ‘most stylish’ assassin or something idk
Imagine you're a roman soldier stationed in egypt and you either notice that your fellow soldiers are dissapearing one by one, or some hooded dude starts storming your fortress killing your highly trained fellow soldiers that not even some of the greatest armies in the world have been able to face.
I would say Connor he just seems like a scary fellow,he's a big guy , super strong and is ruthless my man would be one scary guy if he was angry because he would destroy u right out the bat Edited as much I agree but my man Connor has been killing and slaughtering animals from such a young age
To be honest, this question depends on the person. My top picks for scariest Assassin in my opinion are Altair, Ezio (by the time of AC Revelations), Bayek, and Connor. And they all excelled in how terrifying they can be in their own unique way. Altair is scary because he's not afraid of pulling a few tricks out of his sleeves. He's willing to go a little further regarding tactics and methods in order to uphold the tenets of his Brotherhood's Creed. He is very much what an Assassin is supposed to be from head to toe... silent, deadly, and proficient. Revelations Ezio is scary because he perfectly embodies the age-old phrase _"Fear an old man in a profession where men die young"_. All of the skills and abilities he's gained over his career as an Assassin culminated into a combatant who won't take shit from anyone, and that's reflected in his demeanor. What he may lack in physical peak, he quite easily makes up for it in lethality and a diverse skill set. Bayek is scary because of his unbridled rage against the Order of the Ancients. The death of his son, Khemu, truly traumatized him, and with every target he tracked down, he turned his trauma and grief into basically weapons of destruction. And of course, this is aided by Abubakar Salim's Oscar-worthy voice acting, which only makes Bayek even more terrifying. And of course, there's Connor/Ratonhnhaké:ton. He is scary because, let's face it, the dude's a tank who fights like a beast. Pure physicality-wise, he is the strongest and toughest of the Assassins by far, being a legit whirlwind of chaos. Adding on, he's also a warrior who was trained by his Mohawk Native tribe, so no wonder his skills are a sight to behold. So after all this, I believe that this is how I would rank the respective Assassins listed in my comment: 1. Ezio (Revelations) 2. Connor 3. Altair 4. Bayek
It's Bayek and Altair for me, Bayek represents the fear of pure rage unstoppable beast, Altair represents the fear of a cold-blooded, emotionless killer.
I think you severely undercut the terror of pirates in the context of their period. Pirates were seen as monsters and Kenway was, in this universe, a peer to Blackbeard, Vane, and Hornigold. The three most dreaded pirates of the West Indies. Being an assassin is nothing compared to being a pirate. I would have put Edward in the top 3 over Altair. Altair wouldn't let you see him coming, and was all about stealth and being a blade in the crowd. If you saw him coming for you, he's failed. Remember there are missions in AC 1 where in order to get 100 percent synch you need to go completely undiscovered. I feel like this list should ultimately come down to who used fear as a driving method of their persona, and that answer is: Connor, Edward, and Bayek. I would personally put Edward at the top of that list given the aforementioned historiographic context, but Bayek is a close second because of his unhinged grief and rage. Connor is a titan but he also is rather stoic in his expressions.
The fact that you never see Altair coming adds to the fear factor. You never know when he's gonna kill you and how you just know that you're gonna die.
Edward wasn't an ACTUAL Assassin for most of the game. It would definitely have to be Altair because of the fear he instilled in people, whole cities would go on lockdown if they heard he was coming into town.
@@fluffierthenafox2766he's wearing the assassin fit, so technically during his pirating, seeing the hood essentially makes others be afraid of other hooded people like the assassins.
Bayek is my favorite assassin, to be honest. I like his personal story, his drive to help everyone he meets, and his absolute ruthlessness toward his enemies and the enemies of his people. Altair and Ezio definitely have Bayek beat in terms of technique, training, and weaponry but damn...if I crossed anyone in Egypt and I heard Bayek was in the neighborhood I'd just stab myself.
the frye twins... No one talks about them but they are seriously dangerous like just imagine a duo one is stealthy and the other haves a lot of strengh + defense bro also they are cool as characters and i really like how they actually act like twins fighting all the time, the are my fav assassins with ezio tbh
If i was a target and an assassin is hunting me down, I would be scared in Arno the most. Not because of his physical appearance. Or his combat skills, But because of his stealth. His eagle vision can see through walls, or trace scent. Then he would kill a target without being seen. Also he is the most agile in parkour. Meaning i cant run away nor hide from him. The only chance of survival is to know where he is , fight face to face and have better combat skill
I think lore wise Arno is probably the weakest in combat as seen by the more realistic combat, but even then Arno is still probably the best duelist I'm France lol. In one side mission, he even goes around and beats the best duelists in all of Paris
@@garret16arno is definetly not the weakest in combat If you master the combat in unity you are a beast And Arno is à master of many type of weapons And for me he is the stealthiest assassin so that makes him even scarier
@@Karu_o_o It's just that compared to other protagonist that one tap their enemies, he is technically the weakest even though he is basically a demon in combat
"Beware of an old man in a profession where men usually die young."
This goes for Ezio, Altair and Bayek.
bayek wasn’t that old in the game and we don’t know when he died. also shay would also count in this list
@@BaconDanglers Heck, Altair reached 90.
Altair died at the age of 92 and he lived in the 12th century 🗿🍷
Altair managed to live to 92 while being alive in the 12th/13th centuries
Not to mention being a high ranking individual in one of the most dangerous jobs on earth
The line that made Bayek terrifying to me is when the first guy says "You cannot run from us forever, we will find when you sleep". And Byek goes:
"SLEEP?!

Facts. Connor was straight up brutal with his kills.
Brutal but efficient, he uses his strength and speed, not utilizing his smart to kill like haythem
I am still suprised he's not a guest character in mortal kombat, but it's probably bc of Nightwolf
This is what people don’t understand, Connor was a Native, people who were known to be more “brutal.” He was a unit of a man, and he was absolutely brutal in the way he killed his enemies. I mean the animations truly speak for themselves
The scream he does as well when he does this and alot of his other finishers. Yeah that's a hard no from me chief.
Bayek and Conor are the scariest in my opinion. They are by far the most physically frightening.

That literally applies to every Assassin
He's also called an angel of death
the fact that he can use the apple of eden without side effect that alone is scary

Bayek is literally a murderer
Connor's a serial killer
Jin Sakai how good of Assassin would he be and who could he beat out of the other Assassins.
The racism thing is also the same reason Adewale would be scary for some people. Imagine you just put some slaves into chains ready to transport them to their new owner and you see him running towards you.

He doesn’t look for the fight, and avoids it if possible, he’s there for the efficiency
I think what makes him scary, really, is that he doesn’t really hate his victims. They’re a job for him and he doesn’t have a huge emotional motivation to this as Bayek does. I think at the point when the game starts he’s kind of slipped so far from humanity that he tends to forget his targets are human at all if what I mean is understandable
Another Altair ball licker here is your trophy 🤌
Bayek and Connor are physically intimidating while also having that “intimidating” aura when approaching. While Altair has more of a lurking, haunting intimidation that scares you. Definitely top 3. Some of the other ones are intimidating in a fight but walking up to you, they seem like they could be too friendly with their jokes and such.
see, that's why they're so terrifying, being able to go from "hi there friend!" to having a knife in your throat
I'd say Bayek is the scariest, the way he kills the first 2 targets is absolutely brutal 💀

@@MoonBoomChannel Nigga stop the cap, Pirates and the age of pirates is more ruthless than anything 💀
He never even got hit by a blade during his whole life. Best Assassin ever
Keep in mind, when he's rumored of coming in town, the entire city goes on red alert mode.
The scariest part about him is the fact that he spent his entire life being in a dangerous job, the type that you can just drop dead suddenly and he died of old age on his own terms.
Imagine living everyday as you can just die suddenly by someone often close to you, but somehow surviving through all of it until your last years.
@@magosexploratoradeon6409 an old man in a profession where men die young is terrifying.
@@alecworrall1530 His mentor stabbed him lol
Ezio and Connor arguably have similar mentalities.
Great point!
True
I'm not the only who thought about the Ripper, cool to see I'm not alone there.
Conor would be to caught up in his rage to be scared of what he’d assume is a psychopath who gets off on killing women. Conor is a beast who slaughters armies, Ripper is an assassin who because a murder.
Instead of getting scared connor would be actually giving a expression like 😑 and kill him without even bothering to use half of his muscles
dude even before bayek killed medunanun, that one guy threw a dagger at him and he blocked it with a mask and then made him wear the mask pushing the blade into his face? bayek is terrifying.
Arno would be scary not because he looks it but because the stealth he uses makes him seem almost supernatural sometimes and I think that would be frightening to know he’s after you.
he kills you before you even have the chance to be scared so that in itself is pretty scary
It doesn’t make a case if your reasoning is what every AC protagonist does.
And at the near end of AC3 Charles Lee is so terrified of Connor that he runs when he catches a glimpse of him.
almost every assassin does this
I would agree with you since stealth gameplay peaked in the series with Unity.

My personal opinion if I see literally anyone walking towards me with a pointed hood covering their face I’m running away unbelievably fast
Sorry.
Bayek is more of an Assassin than Edward ever was.

Bayek for me is the scariest, especially on the earlier part of Origins. You never, ever stand in the way of a man seeking revenge, that's some scary shit especially if you are the target.
Edward was literally described as someone who fights like the devil dressed as a man and even Blackbeard wouldn’t question his personal life
Connor look is frightening to death.

@@bah2vi some one know their history but ezio is a beast

I feel like this list definitely works for once the actual fight starts, but if I was a Templar finding out an Assassin's on my tail, and one of my informants says "My lord... it's... it's Ezio Auditore."
I'd consider just ending it there to save Ezio some time.
“A warning to you both: choose to follow me or oppose me, and I will kill you.”

Bayek is the scariest.
I mean just the voice acting, the lines, the delivery and the emotions coming from Rudjek (His First Kill)
was mire than enough from me.
I mean even though I was playing as him I could literally feel the fear of his enemy.
This is literally the best line of the entire game:
"Sleep? I never sleep, I just wait.
In the shadows.
And I will kill you all.
Everyone who sniffed the air that day in Siwa."
The fear in Rudjeks eyes was amazing.
And another thing, I believe that if you get an enemy(be it a bandit or soldier) to a low amount of health, they'll sometimes try to run away. It's almost like they can see the red skull icon over Bayek's head(the one where it shows that an enemy is too dangerous for you).
Edward has this “crazy” vibe none of the others have which is rather unsettling
For me it would be Edward. Not only is he an extremely skilled man, he was so strong that the world's most feared man said that he dared not meddle in Edward's affairs. If Blackbeard himself isn't willing to step up to him, best believe he's not a man to mess with
I think evie alone is already scary in her seniority. remember jack the ripper's dlc, and all her fear-based attacks

Yeah, connor's definitely on that "protein powder"
When Bayek caught the knife with the mask, and rammed it into the dude’s face…that sealed the deal for me. He’s ruthless and his kills prove it.
Didn't Connor also die of natural causes
I don't think much has to be said about why Connor deserves the no 1 spot,so I'll just say this. There is no Assassin in the entire series that is as lazer focused as he is when it comes to achieving his goals. And the lengths he's willing to go to do just that... I can't even imagine standing in his way.

The opening scene in origins in the bent pyramid is easily my favorite ac moment it gives me chills every time
Imagine you're a roman soldier stationed in egypt and you either notice that your fellow soldiers are dissapearing one by one, or some hooded dude starts storming your fortress killing your highly trained fellow soldiers that not even some of the greatest armies in the world have been able to face.
I would say Connor he just seems like a scary fellow,he's a big guy , super strong and is ruthless my man would be one scary guy if he was angry because he would destroy u right out the bat
Edited as much I agree but my man Connor has been killing and slaughtering animals from such a young age
So after all this, I believe that this is how I would rank the respective Assassins listed in my comment:
1. Ezio (Revelations)
2. Connor
3. Altair
Peoples forget that pirates would capture women and rape them over and over until they killed themselves and they would brutalize peasants.
The fact that you never see Altair coming adds to the fear factor. You never know when he's gonna kill you and how you just know that you're gonna die.
But that makes him a scary pirate not a scary assassin.
I totally agree with your top 3. I instantly thought about Connor and Bayek, in fact. Than, Ezio and Edward are not bad either.
Absolutely loved your take on Connor haha
Definitely connor! [Lorewise]The man skinned every single person after killing them!
You speak the truth
Wasn’t it a discarded pre-development idea?
@@robertocavallo4157 i dont know about that, but it says it in the book...🤷♂️
@@ThodorisManiatis1220 I thought he scalped the people he killed not skinned
@@cameronbarnes4216 I remember it being that way, but i havent read that book in a long time so i may be wrong or not.
Yeah he is my 2nd ezio being my first favorite
If u did nothing wrong to him or his people then you have nothing to do worry about
the frye twins... No one talks about them but they are seriously dangerous like just imagine a duo one is stealthy and the other haves a lot of strengh + defense bro also they are cool as characters and i really like how they actually act like twins fighting all the time, the are my fav assassins with ezio tbh
he also forgets to mention the jack the ripper dlc, the only dlc with a fear mechanic, plus jack the ripper was a assassin
@@garret16arno is definetly not the weakest in combat
If you master the combat in unity you are a beast
And Arno is à master of many type of weapons
And for me he is the stealthiest assassin so that makes him even scarier
@@Karu_o_o It's just that compared to other protagonist that one tap their enemies, he is technically the weakest even though he is basically a demon in combat
@@garret16 i can understand you would think that but he has the deadliest stealth attack
He lean more on stealth than pure combat
