Exactly what i was saying, the games aren't really a fair measure to judge them on the basis of parkour and quickness but the trailer make much more sense and Ezio was flying in AC2
Interesting choice, I personally always felt Arno was a bit too slow, but that's probably because I thought his combat speed was slow. Connor is my choice for overall quickness. Arno of course ascends buildings faster than Connor, but it's something about Connor's way of sprinting on trees that makes me feel adrenaline or something as a player.

I actually think Connor is one of the slower assassins when it comes to parkour. I remember in trailers before the game launched the devs specifically talked about how they made Connor slower then Ezio while climbing because in his animations he has to contend with his bigger bulk.
Easiest guess is Altair and Conner since both of them don't put on too much armor like the others. while armor doesn't slow down the assassins since there's no in game weight mechanics but it is easier to guess just based on that and oh carrying weapons counts too.

@@00Batman I get that Arno's base outfit makes him look lighter and agile but still he can put on armor and look a little bit heavier doing that parkour.
Based on experiences in their world, my guess is connor. From childhood, yes he's been super athletic with tree climbing and hunting, combine that with assassins training. Altair as well, I think hes been hone to be an assassin since birth, so he'd be fastest with so much training.
Arno learned Parkour from the creators of the parkour itself, Historically talking, Parkour borned in France as an urban sport, it makes sense he's the quickest of all.
I feel like an analysis of what defines every assassin protagonist and what makes them in particular different from the others would be the most intriguing thing i could think of. It would combine the different insights of stats, animations, backstories and so on. Some are defined through their tenacity, while others are defined through their wits and craftiness. It would be an interesting topic to discuss.
Idk if you have already done a video of “the most masterful assassin” but it would be a pretty good one. I guess the top contenders would be Altair and Ezio but from my experience I felt like the most masterful assassin while playing as Arno. The fluidity of his motions, the assassination animations, everything felt so clean.
My top 3 on this would be Connor, Arno and Frye's. Arno like you said, Fryes because they are mostly the same with arno except for their tools and Connor because his overall animations are fast and clean ( combat parkour everything ) whereas arno is slow at combat and the frye twins have a very slow and tedious combat system.
What exactly do you mean by "masterful"? If you mean just movement then I don't know if that's good. There is more to an assassin than just swiftness and agility.
I would love to see you include Eivor and Kassandra/Alexios and even Shay in these videos. I know they are not considered assassins and these are generally probably the most hated games in the series. However they are still main protagonists of their respective games and I think it would be cool to see them compared with the others in all these categories! Keep up the good work!
Completely agree Arno feels very flexible in movement through gameplay and you can feel in street events when you free run chasing somebody. God i wish they make another Unity like game....
How about 'Which Assassin is the most creative?'. Some like really headfirst charges whereas others construct elaborate plans to defeat their foes. It would be interesting.
I agree with your pick of Arno. Personally, I think Unity has the best parkour of the entire series with the ability to have specific buttons for climbing up and climbing down buildings. Luke Stephens (great RUclipsr) brought up Unity's climbing mechanics as the best of the series in one of his AC videos and he did a great job summarizing what I cannot put into words about Unity's parkour. It sucks that they gave that up for the more streamlined climbing/parkour in the entries that came later
As someone who's been in a fight on a ship, i guarantee Edward is the fastest and most agile, maintaining stable and climbing and fighting on a Rocking pirate wooden ship required circus levels of agility
How about who is the most loyal Assassin? Not necessarily to the Creed (although that could probably be its own video) but family localities and loyalty to their country or personal beliefs etc could be really interesting
@N7Andy Achilles was more reckless and blind than evil, he was indirectly evil, evil would fit with someone like chevalier who knows what he's doing and is an ass in doing so, so he would be more directly evil
Video idea: which assassins would be the hardest to work with or the easiest if you were a beginner assassins yourself and had to be assigned to one of them.
All due respect, The Frye twins had mufuggin grappling hooks and rope launchers. Even without they'd at-the-very-least beat out Altair, Edward and Bayek since they aren't exactly slouches when they _actually have something to climb._ My top 3 would be Jacob, Evie, and Arno in no order (With Ezio very close behind especially given his hook blade, and Connor behind him) Arno is the best freerunner though.
Yay! No spoilers intended but happy to see this assassin on a good list and not like on the other lists bashing them so to speak. Anyway, would definitely agree! Love these vids!
It's interesting to ask this question, since one of the key gameplay mainstays of Assassin's Creed as a whole is parkour. Due to this, it's reasonable to conclude that all of the protagonists would be masters of agility, quickness, and nimbleness, even with their differing lifestyles and physical builds.
Arno is definitely the fastest assassin, it's true that he is slow in combat, but he is too fast and skillful in assassination/ double assassination and secretly stuff, you know after all he is a true assassin, not a fighter, the next one in my opinion is conner but conner is more like a badass fighter than an assassin, so arno is on the top of the list
I think since there are real life structure of buildings in these games, you can measure the running speed of each assassin by the time they reach a certain distance using the measurements of those real life structures. You could come up with numbers of how fast they run and help you decide who is the quickest
This is very true. I went with a more "feats" type of way to tell who's the fastest. I gave it to bayek since he can speed blitz and dodge Egyptian gods casually.
For me it's Arno, Altair, and Connor with the honorable mention of Shao Jun of AC Chronicles: China and Arbaaz Mir of AC Chronicles: India and Evie Frye, Aveline.
Even though stealth was not mentioned in the video, I would like to say that I feel Ubisoft should have put better stealth mechanics for AC 3 or its remaster as to go along with the silent (and Native American) character of Connor. It would have made him feel more like a skilled hunter, though in this case he would be hunting people.
The system itself wasn't that bad imo. The bugginess of the detection and the somewhat unforgiving map design kinda made it not as good as it should be.
There's a mission in AC2 or brotherhood, where you play as Altaiir and there you still have that weird climbing only for Altaiir. for me it would be: Arno, the twins and then conor.
@@expo6877 In AC2/brotherhood there is pretty agile and fast climbing. But in the mission where you play as Altaiir, where there should be improved climbing, there isn't. which means that Altaiir is the one being so bad at climbing and not the parkour system, making him the least quickest of them all.
i agree arno is the quickest assassin ... oh and please do a video on the assassins most iconic weapon which asssassin has the best Hiddenblade ....Btw awesome vid :)
Who’s the best detective? Finding clues, listening for information, tailing, sometimes deconstructing crime scenes, maybe could include when they use disguises to infiltrate and find information as a factor, just who’s the best overall at that. I’d also like a list of just who’s the best Assassin at infiltrating specifically which would be disguising, lock picking, becoming flying demons in some cases(Ezio), finding different ways of entry.
@@newhybrid101 yeah he would crush that, I mean Ezio does have that tracking Eagle vision thing seeing people’s footmarks can specifically see their roots, and Connor has that tracking thing also himself he learned from when he was a kid, but it is something so big in side quests especially that Arno does have a huge advantage, but I don’t think Bayek can be forgotten either because I also think that’s a huge part of his quests helping people around Egypt discovering hidden shops, and his depth of knowledge about Egypt and how that aids him knowing so much kind of like Sherlock how his depth of knowledge helps him I think Bayek knowledge of different customs around Egypt surrounding the Egyptian god worship could really help he stopped that serial killer I think he’s actually pretty competitive. The Twins also had their own mystery stories to uncover that I think there is some interesting debate there. And it is something that’s so big in all the games with tailing and easdropping that there is interesting discussion to be had. While yeah I agree Arno was my initial thought as well. Some of the others actually really have a strong case, like I really wouldn’t be surprised if Bayek got it. I mean all three got duped where Arno probably has one of the worded of getting duped, Bayek was really second hand because of trust by Aya, Jacob I think was really the only one out of the Twins but I mean I still had everything figured out I think in the ripper DLC where Evie was following some of his clues but we actually see Evie decintructing crime scenes and was the one who wasn’t duped in the main game figured out Edward’s secret exit and everything. It’s still competitive I could see an argument for a lot of them and could be surprised by others with things I don’t remember.
A video with about which assassin is definitely something with the general public. Like which assassin is most known by the general public or which assassin is most feared by the general public or something like that
In terms of speed? Ezio in AC2, no question. I already know everyone is going to say Arno, but the most speed Arno has is doing 40ft climb leaps up walls lol. AC2’s game-feel is very precise and very light-Ezio in AC2 specifically is probably the lightest feeling protagonist of any AC game while also still having weight, with overall better cancel timings than any other protagonist in the series. In actual understandable english, this means that Ezio in AC2 is able to easily and quickly flow between different parkour actions: start a wallrun, smoothly cancel into a side eject for height, and wallrun again for even more speed. If done smartly, Ezio can scale four-story buildings in Venice in just seconds using wallruns and eject cancels. Brotherhood makes Ezio slightly heavier, and Revelations even more so, which makes sense for his age. Compared to later protagonists, who have either far more restrictive cancel timings (like Edward and Connor), or those who have no cancels at all (Arno and future protagonists), Ezio *feels* more agile. I guess this isn’t really evidence based on anything canon but more so based on mechanics and gamefeel for parkour.
I feel like overall speed and quickness and agility goes to Conor being a hunter means you’ve gotta climb through the forest and run down deer nd elk that counts for something….
I’ve got a good one. Best Brotherhood. I key part of AC are the allies of the main protagonist and it might be nice to judge how well these allies would have done without them.
I think I would love to see which assassin had the best fighting skill. Not just brute strength, but when it comes to being onslaughted by templars, who can get the job done best. Who is the best fighter? Love all your vids btw!

Arno learned Parkour from the creators of the parkour itself, Historically talking, Parkour borned in France as an urban sport, it makes sense he's the quickest of all.
Yo love your content man keep it up
I feel like an analysis of what defines every assassin protagonist and what makes them in particular different from the others would be the most intriguing thing i could think of. It would combine the different insights of stats, animations, backstories and so on. Some are defined through their tenacity, while others are defined through their wits and craftiness. It would be an interesting topic to discuss.
Love your content. I’d really enjoy seeing your take on who has the best outfit/assassin robes
@@spelareNR14 I think he means how skilled their techniques and animations are.
Another video idea which assassin would win if all of them fought each other
Completely agree Arno feels very flexible in movement through gameplay and you can feel in street events when you free run chasing somebody. God i wish they make another Unity like game....
Arno looks good because he was motion capped by real life traceurs. It’s why he moves so perfectly
Idea: who's the best looking assassin
Most tragic story of the Assassins ? I think Rogue could be in there too(Great vid by the way )
This title now belongs to Basim lol as he can move so fast that animus glitches and makes it look like he glitches.
A future episode can be “Who’s the most Stealthiest assassin”
I think Arno and the twins should be there, I am a big fan of Connor, but that bulldozer ain't in any hurry
Keep up the great work
Most Wreckless assassin would be cool. Alot of them have good cases for being wreckless
Keep up great the great content
Idea for the next video for this series who is the most experienced assassin?.
Yo that guys body at 3:39 has me dying LOL
How about 'Which Assassin is the most creative?'. Some like really headfirst charges whereas others construct elaborate plans to defeat their foes. It would be interesting.
Watching these videos always want to make me play Assassin's Creed again, especially the ones I haven't played.
Master Assassin you should do who's the stealthest assassin because its the main focus of the assassins creed franchiese
Here’s an interesting one whos the most evil assassin
Edward
altair
He killed a technically innocent man even when he begged him not to
Jack the Ripper of course
@N7Andy Achilles was more reckless and blind than evil, he was indirectly evil, evil would fit with someone like chevalier who knows what he's doing and is an ass in doing so, so he would be more directly evil
Arno is my favorite assassin so this makes me happy
Me too!
Could you do the best robes in assassins creed next please
Me at read the title: "Arno is your time to shine"
Arno: "The time has come and so have I."
Yeah! I play unity and unity is an underdog in my opinion,so im happy to see arno is the quickest!
Video idea: which assassins would be the hardest to work with or the easiest if you were a beginner assassins yourself and had to be assigned to one of them.
You could do whose the best swimmer as there are a few swimmers
All due respect,
The Frye twins had mufuggin grappling hooks and rope launchers.
Even without they'd at-the-very-least beat out Altair, Edward and Bayek since they aren't exactly slouches when they _actually have something to climb._
My top 3 would be Jacob, Evie, and Arno in no order (With Ezio very close behind especially given his hook blade, and Connor behind him)
Arno is the best freerunner though.
A cool idea: Who is the stealthiest Assassin?
Canonically the quickest assassin is Ezio. As he says in AC II “A minute is all I need… Wai-“
Quickness of unity hits harder when you start running in circle loop on cone shaped roof and yup don't forget camera angles 😵😵
Yay! No spoilers intended but happy to see this assassin on a good list and not like on the other lists bashing them so to speak. Anyway, would definitely agree! Love these vids!
Could you please make a video about who is emotional assassin
4:54 that guy in the background wins the challenge for sure.. quick even after death
Jacob and evie are mad fast considering they dodge bullets like its nothin
I think you should do the most funniest assassins because Edward might win
There's a mission in AC2 or brotherhood, where you play as Altaiir and there you still have that weird climbing only for Altaiir. for me it would be: Arno, the twins and then conor.
@@expo6877 In AC2/brotherhood there is pretty agile and fast climbing. But in the mission where you play as Altaiir, where there should be improved climbing, there isn't. which means that Altaiir is the one being so bad at climbing and not the parkour system, making him the least quickest of them all.
@@AronTheNpc I meant that I didn’t know which mission in ac2 you played as Altair in
Who's the Coolest looking Assassin (defualt outfit)
I love how conner has he's grandfather's, strong pirate genetics
i agree arno is the quickest assassin ... oh and please do a video on the assassins most iconic weapon which asssassin has the best Hiddenblade ....Btw awesome vid :)
Arno becuz of the phantom blade
Damn, this channel starts to become the next watchmojo for assassin's creed
Who’s the best detective? Finding clues, listening for information, tailing, sometimes deconstructing crime scenes, maybe could include when they use disguises to infiltrate and find information as a factor, just who’s the best overall at that. I’d also like a list of just who’s the best Assassin at infiltrating specifically which would be disguising, lock picking, becoming flying demons in some cases(Ezio), finding different ways of entry.
Arno.Intentially
I would suggest a video on who is the sneakest assassin like most likely to not get caught by guards
A video with about which assassin is definitely something with the general public. Like which assassin is most known by the general public or which assassin is most feared by the general public or something like that
Video idea which Assassin was the most loyal to the Creed. Not just the Brotherhood but to the teachings of the Creed itself
Who has the best Rope ?
@N7Andy By that logic why doesn’t Ezio make sense? He’s pretty lean
@@kinography9085 Ezio's cape kinda limits his mobility imo but he feels faster than arno but still not as fast as connor or the frye twins.
Everyone on this list is quick. They wouldn't really be assassins if they weren't.
I feel like overall speed and quickness and agility goes to Conor being a hunter means you’ve gotta climb through the forest and run down deer nd elk that counts for something….
I was gonna say the frye twins because they can dodge bullets and the animations for combat are super quick, especially the dodges
Do who has the best looking suit if you haven't
Wait
Can you do
Who is the Most Drippiest Assassin?
Who is the best hacker in Watch Dogs Games. Love your videos man keep it up.
Another fire video ❤️
Altair is so quick that he disappears in the blink of an eye
Awesome content as always MA
Btw u should really play the uncharted games if u haven't and rank them (still waiting for the ac ranking tho 😳)
I’ve got a good one. Best Brotherhood. I key part of AC are the allies of the main protagonist and it might be nice to judge how well these allies would have done without them.
I love this series so much!
Arno, I knew immediately once I read the title.
I think I would love to see which assassin had the best fighting skill. Not just brute strength, but when it comes to being onslaughted by templars, who can get the job done best. Who is the best fighter?
Love all your vids btw!
For me it's Arno, hands down
