- Assassin's Creed has become such a successful franchise in large part, due to how good Ubisoft is at marketing these games. And a big reason for that is the CGI cinematic trailers Assassin's Creed has become known for. Due to popular request, I finally decided to rank all these trailers based on my personal opinion. But keep in mind I still really enjoy all of them and there is truly no such thing as a "bad" Assassin's Creed cinematic trailer.

I have a feeling that the British were not at fault and that the Americans were ungrateful cause it was literally for America that Britain went to war with France. We all saw Washington fought in it too
@@isaklal518 Yeah but the American colonists have no say in that and didn't really care much if France took over. And them not having say on anything the British did pretty much caused their rebellion as they increased the taxes to cover the expenses for said war while not giving them any representation in the Parliament to have a say on anything. I feel like they wont get too pissed even if the added taxes are ten times more than they are and that the thing that pissed them off is the lack of representation in Britain's decision making despite being a contributor of taxes.

Britain didn’t see the 13 colonies as a colony they saw them as British with British troops being born in the colonies and seeing them selves as British
I am british (Englishman) and from the north the government doesn’t see us as equals seeing us as simple and mostly just uses us
It’s wasn’t just a problem in America I think the British government is just naturally snobbish and looks down on people as most of them are from rich families that still exist today
When connor go through an entire army will always be badass
For me, it's Revelations. It's close though. I think the music, fighting scene with Ezio, and the reveal of the "synchronization" of Ezio and Altair is what makes it. There's just so much emotion attached with this trailer. It's incredible.
As a kid I always dreamed of Ubisoft making an animated AC movie, because of these trailers. I love them all and watch them from time to time to this day.
Bro, i remember in 2006 when they just released a promotional artwork even before the first trailer, i was mind blown

The AC3 trailer is just so good, it showcases how unstoppable Connor is when he’s on the battlefield! There’s a fan cut of the trailer with the song Run Boy Run by Woodkid that goes so perfectly with it, just gives me chills
My headcanon is that the AC Syndicate cinematic trailer takes place after the main campaign because Jacob has a different hairstyle then he does in the game and this version of him is obviously more skilled then the one we saw in the game plus this version of him is already well-established gang leader which he wasn't until the end of the main game
That also explains Evie's absence as she's probably on India doing assassin business with Mr Green after the events of the main game.
Ac brotherhood cinematic is absolutely memorable and masterpiece it is always my favorite bc I love how badass this cinematic is, ac brotherhood deserves no.1
AC unity's trailer will always be top for me, everything from the music, to his comrades melting out of the smoke, to my goosebumps when arno leaps off the building when the music kicks back in, to the fact that they left the french commander for the people to get vengeance on, just perfection. other than that slight beef, great video lol
Also really like AC Unity’s Elise reveal trailer. The whole set up, the music, parkour, and the twist at the end🔥

I have always loved the way these trailers showed you what can and what will you do during the gameplay. Things like disarming, social stealth, hiring, boarding the ship, secret weapons. Amazing job.
Altiar couldn't have his bow gun because it was deemed unrealistic. But now we have Chimera's. Giants. And soon Youkai in code name red lol
It’s not unrealistic the reason why they removed it because it made the game to easy.

Ubisoft should make a cinematic trailer when they rerelease Odyssey on Xbox Series X/S and PlayStation 5 (or any future console).
They could do the same for other rereleases such as an Evie trailer for Syndicate or Aveline trailer for Liberation.
There are plenty of examples of companies going back to older games and doing more for them. Gearbox released Borderlands 2 new DLC in preparation for Borderlands 3 and The Last of Us was remade after a remaster.
The first AC cinematic trailer I watched was back in 2022 it was The Assassin's Creed Revelations cinematic trailer and I fell in love with it and it is by far my favorite AC cinematic trailer out of them all
Amazing video!!! Origins is my favorite game in the series but I love the AC3 cinematic trailer the most as well!!! AC3 was the first game in the series that I played. 🤩🤩🤩😎😎😎💯💯💯💙💙💙✨✨✨
Two trailers that I like very much that are not on the list are the Assassin's Creed Chronicles China trailer and the Freedom Cry trailer, the musics on those trailers are fantastic

@@TheHiddenOne690 the valhalla one is the only part I agree with him lmao, I also don't like AC3 being #1, imo AC Mirage or Revelations should've been #1 cause they showcase the best of the assassin fantasy or the story/theme at their peak. My ranking is not the same as his at all so my reasoning is also not the same as his.

Funny you made a comment about people buying AC 3 after seeing the trailer. When I started watching this video, I was about halfway done downloading AC 3 on my PS5. I have never played any AC game before, and after seeing the trailer and watching the actual in game combat, I decided 3 would be my first download. That trailer was one of the coolest things I have ever seen, I'm about to jump in and start playing in a few minutes!
When the AC4 trailer pulled up at the last place I had mini-heart attack 😅
i was in high school when ACIII cinematic trailer came out me and the boys were all blown away, constantly replaying it on the school computer and that.
10:50 my favorite part of unity trailer was the part where arno just kills the guard that was holding the kid while just walking up to the rest of the guards with no fear that was pre badass
You know, I love Unity. It created the best parkour mechanics in the entire series. Despite the issues, it was multiplayer. It was a great segway into the next generation of consoles. The game did a lot for my younger self. But I'll never forget watching the trailer for 3 in 2012, going to gamestop and getting my little hands on the game. Booting it up on my ps3 and finally playing it right before bible study.
There was a day when school was in session, and I got sick, I stayed home, and played 3 all day. The satisfaction on that day when Connor got older and finally put on the Assassin suit. I stopped playing through the story for weeks just to assassinate every guard in my path.
An interesting ranking video could be " Protagonist that made the most impact/importance on the lore of AC (Ranking Lore Importance)"

AC Unity trailer: Wtf
One thing worth highlighting is most of these trailers were made by Digic Pictures. An animation studio based in Hungary. They made many more epic trailers (like for R6 Siege, Witcher 3, League of Legends, etc)
What I really like in AC trailers is they are probably the only game trailers that showcase the actual gameplay. My favourites are AC2 and Brotherhood.
PS: I still don't understand why Odyssey didn't get a CGI trailer.
I loved how they show a snake in the beginning of AC Mirage, which is the opposite of the Brotherhood.
Valhalla is my favorite trailer. I get chills when Eivor reveals the hidden blade at the very end.

The AC III trailer was the first thing I have ever seen from Assassin’s creed. It is so nostalgic to me. I was like 6 when it dropped. My father used to play the old games when they came out and me as a kid, I always watched him play and watched the cinematic trailers. Back then, AC III became my favorite and that never really changed.

Origins also just has the vibes man "you want it darker, we kill the flame" just fits so well - my 2nd Favorite and AC3 is the best IMO as well for nostalgia reasons :)
I remember watching the Valhalla trailer when it dropped and the reveal of the hidden blade gave me chills and hype. I thought “no way we get a Viking assassin” and, I guess I was right… in no way we got a Viking assassin 😂😂
Here's a few things about the cinematic trailer of Black Flag, which is that we're actually watching what Edward was originally written to be, quiet and mysterious. Yep, he wasn't always the adventurous and thrill-seeking pirate we know and love, believe it or not, and the shots of Edward having his hood down shows him having black hair or rather dark colored hair instead of blond hair, which was actually stated in the novel Forsaken where we first hear about Edward, both these things were changed for the final game of course similar to the trailer for AC1 compared to the final game where Altair had a crossbow which was cut from the final game.
there’s just something abt the shot of the rope around ezio and him looking over at the phantom of altair for me.
I still remember as a kid 2014 when AC Unity's trailer first came out , we used to have discussions about who were the other 3 assassins with Arno and made speculations like there's Ezio, connor ,Altair among them ( some time travel shit ) . AC Unity was so hype 😆
The last ac game that gets made needs to be a modern day assassin game where the hidden blade has a belt in mini gun and instead of a horse we have a motorcycle
I hate that i always thought altaïr just straight up threw the crossbow at the guard and not actually shooting it until i saw it slowed down here 😂

I remember AC3s trailer being fully dubbed in ptBR, and Brazil lit in fire, since it was the first game that really recognized us
For me it is AC Revelations. To do a cinematic trailer to show us where Ezio is and where we go was brilliant. I enjoyed the look of it, though AC3 is close second for me. It is so cool Connor being a beast! Good ranking
I don't know if you've used this idea yet, but a video where you ranked the opening title intros would be cool.
The Origins trailer will always be my personal favorite. It's so damn good. I mean, it also helps in retrospect that it's my favorite game and Bayek is my favorite protagonist, but even before I played it, that trailer had me so hyped.

I have Revelation in my heart, its just that beautiful, its baddass, its memorable, its iconic, and have the best music compared to other
RANDOM FUN FACT: as a huge fan of the series that pays attention to all the details in the trailers, the original AC1 trailer always triggered something in me in the last frames with the view of the city.
One day it hit me, the devs probably used some pictures of places that still have medieval architecture AND THE CATHEDRAL WITH THE ROUND WINDOWS THAT APPEARS IS MY CITY'S !!! Saint Petronio's cathedral in Bologna, Italy🇮🇹

Ezio is semented as one of the strongest mentors in AC, wrecking the ambushers.
Had he actually had one of his weapons and smokebombs, he mightve taken them out.

I remember playing AC Revelations for the first time in 2011, and seeing the cinematic trailer IN THE GAME! It blew my 14 year old mind.
The AC unity one just gives me chills every time the music choice is perfect and showing you can go with homies to take down Templars together is such an epic feeling,also showing the phantom blade which is my fav version of the hidden blade.the stoicism of Arno in the trailer is also something I love which is why I also love Altair and Connor.
My top five trailers would prob be:

2.AC3
3.AC Revelations
4.AC2
5AC1

I remember when I started playing assassins creed in 2022 and it was in assassins creed origins. I saw a video during 2022 about games where you can go beast mode and I choose ac as in ac origins. When I saw assassins creed brotherhood in a new video about the same topic I was confused because I didnt know any of the first assassins creed games. wierd I know.
The "Blades" trailer for Syndicate was so short, so simple, yet so good.

Assassin's Creed Revalations Trailer has actually stuck with me for YEARS. the song. The atmosphere. The visuals. EVERYTHING. it's a mini masterpiece
Shocked it isn't #1. Heck I enjoyed AC3 as a videogame way more than revelations. And even then my opinion stands.

Personally my top 3 assassin's creed cinematic trailers would be AC revelations in 1st the AC Rouge in 2nd with AC Syndicate in 3rd(I do wished Jacob and Evie got there own dedicated cinematic trailers)

It´s a Hungarian Company, Digic Pictures, which produces these insane cinematic trailers, not UBISOFT. Digic Pictures created the most insane cinematic trailers of all time. For example: Mass Effect 3, The Witcher III, Final Fantasy XV, Destiny 2, several Call of Duty titles, League of Legends, Sekiro, Rainbow Six Siege, Elden Ring, etc.
For me the #1 is the AC Revelations Woodkid trailer
I'd agree that ac3 trailer is best if it was cannon. As we know in the game, Connor doesn't fight an army but sneaks through the battlefield to assassinate only his target.

I wanna say Odyssey didn’t get one because fans would’ve freaked the fuck out at the fact that Kassandra/ Alexios doesn’t have a hidden blade. But I’ve had that thought for years tho
My favorite trailer is Assassin’s Creed 2 respectively. 2nd being Revelations and 3rd being AC3.
