You know what? I've 'tweaked' my back, too; we're most definitely friend. It's been more than a week, and I've taken a break from any type of exercises since then. It's finally getting better these days, so I started to do light walking exercises, testing the waters. But, I'm so so afraid of getting back to weight training, haha.
We are DEFINITELY friends!! I'm FINALLY getting back to doing REALLY light weights. I'm feeling better but definitely not well yet. I hope you're mending well.
I love cottage cheese. I will add some into my scrambled eggs. It gives them a fluffy creamy taste, but if you don't like the texture of the cottage cheese, you won't notice it. I'll do cottage cheese toasts and top with sauteed spinach, onions, mushrooms, fresh tomatoes, salt and pepper and fried eggs. I've even added cottage cheese in a sandwich in place of mayo. you can even puree it/whip it until it's smooth then it spreads just like mayo.
Great suggestions for new things to try. I’ve been eating fat free cottage cheese with tomato and cucumber for a zero point snack. I think I need to add a few points to make it a meal. Thanks.
Thank you. They all sound good, well, except the crab stuff, lol. I made one that is good, added diced up turkey pepperoni, shredded cheese, some no added sugar pasta sauce (tomato and basil) and some of the Everything seasoning. Popped it in the micro for about 30 sec and mixed it up. One i had for breakfast i added bacon pieces to my eggs and a little of the pasta sauce.
I had to come back and tell you about something I threw together fora late lunch/ early supper. And it has something I know you eat, tilapia. I cooked 2 filets and put on a bed of shredded lettuce that I topped with 1/2 cup of cottage cheese and some everything seasoning and drizzled a little sweet chili sauce over the top just for a little added smack factor.
I wondered about heating up the cottage cheese. Good to hear that that's an option. These sound good. I'm still working on the crab one -- I'm not giving up yet. 😂
@fitdaniellereads I got a few ideas from Tanya on tiktok and she mlcrowaves hers. She reminded everyone that some people put cottage cheese in their lasagna.
I’m not a huge fan of ranch dressing so I just tried today to make onion dip with my yogurt. I used a tsp and a half of better than bullion beef stuff and dehydrated onions. I think it’s going to work. I might try the ranch with cottage cheese. I like cottage cheese on its own but Friendship Cottage cheese small curd is my favorite. Just started to use the apple fitness app. No watch for me. So far I like it. I might try the cottage cheese bowl. I think cucumber would go well and the scrambled eggs.
I was trying to make an onion dip but didn't get anywhere with it. I think I was using dried bullion -- I bet the better than bullion is much better. I might try it again. Great tip -- thanks!
I made another yummy bowl today. In dded some pico de gallo and some prepped turkey sausage to my cottage cheese (and ate it cold this time). Love it.
That sounds REALLY good!!

Those are all great ideas. I really need to mess around with cottage cheese more.

@@fitdaniellereads I tried mine and I was a swing and a miss. Maybe if I used Lipton onion soup mix it would be better.
I can’t with cottage cheese texture but I seen to just blend it smooth and I was in! K bye 🤗🫶🏼
I saw that people blend cottage cheese. That does seem like a good option to get past the texture issue.
