In his last season in the NFL at 44yrs old, Brady threw 733 passes for 4,694 yards, 25 touchdowns, 9 INTs. He was still elite when he retired. Not bad for a 44 year old QB trying to play.

@@randyriddle4824 Same undocumented claims if you would have followed the story thru its entirety and actually documented yourself you would how nonsensical you sound by posting a post like this one. I cannot vouch for Belichick although I know that he was not the only one doing it (or only team if you prefer) yet the Patriots were the only franchise that was severely punished for doing it. As far as deflategate goes me being from up North I knew already there was a high probability that a natural phenomenon called ideal gas law in physics was more than likely the reason the ball pressure changed without any human intervention. Like i said if you document yourself not to mention all the odours of foul play by the commissioner’s office in order to get Brady suspended without the shred of a proof. You do know that in court the NFL were originally denied a condemnation for lack of evidence. If that doesn’t sound an alarm bell in your head I don’t know what else will.

Tom Brady was capable of seeing the WHOLE PICTURE. He brought the PATS' "DO YOUR JOB" mentality directly to the Bucs...and forged a winning mentality, besides attempting to secure good players that would make a complete TEAM. The right circumstance was Mo Lewis who took Drew out and allowed Tom Brady to be takeover and make history. Deflategate always bugs me because if you know how pressure works and heat you know it being out in the cold will cause the pressure to drop. An MIT professor who is an eagles fan used it to prove the universal gas law and actually showed that the patriots would have actually been at a disadvantage if the balls were deflated and took a ball an extra second or tenth of a second to fly 10 yards. Making it easier to defend. Look up MIT professor deflategate it’s pretty cool actually. Also going into half it was 17-7 after half the patriots blew the colts out. It was like 17-7 into half then it was like 45-7 at the end. The colts were better off with the flat balls by a wide margin. Also on the frank clark call you can’t really be mad at Brady about that cuz he lined up way offside. He may not have gotten around to even get that pressure to cause the ball to be high.

You might not like my analogy but Brady was playing football like a bank manager always going for the safest play made available to him he would only go for the flashy play when there was nothing better available. A good example of that is the Edelman catch in the SB LI against the Falcons where he threw in a triple coverage where miraculously Edelman catches the ball between the legs of a defender right before it touches the field.

I was so happy the day Brady stepped on the field for the first time back in 2001. There was so much talk about Brady. How good he was in practice training camp, that used to be at Bryant College, in Rhode Island. This is where the Pats used to practice there for pre season. I knew the Pats were going to win championships. Brady's mindset is so strong. His vision of the field very very good, almost excellent. He made himself better and better as time went on. Thank you for the 20 years Tom. It was so fun. Every Sunday in football season was like a holiday in New England. Something I looked forward to each weekend.

If you have looked into the matter the NFL could not get Brady convicted on the evidence they had in a court of law. In order to win their appeal they had to switch to an obscure clause of the CBA that allowed the commissioner to suspend any player in a way that he sees fit. That clause has been since modified in a way that would prevent the league in suspending a player the same way they did for Brady. The icing on the cake is the following year the NFL has conducted an analysis of ball pressures in several stadium of the NFL. The result of the analysis was so compromising that the legal counsel of the NFL recommended that all the information concerning the analysis should be and was destroyed.

But you could say that about a lot of top tier players. Brady maximized what he could do. He wasn't the most athletic, but played a perfect pocket passer role. He may not gain yards up field, but he countered that by having one of the quickest release times in the league while simultaneously being a superb mover in the pocket so that he wouldn't get sacked and cost his team yards. He analyzed the field at an elite level, read defenses far better than most, and had an strong throwing arm.
Would he have done better had he been in a different position? Probably not. But you could say that about a lot of top tier QBs.
Would Peyton Manning been as good if he didn't have 2 HOF WRs, continual Pro-bowl level RBs, and solid 3rd receivers and TEs throughout his career? No.
Would Mahomes have busted onto the scene in 2018 the way he did with KC if he had been drafted by the Bears? No. And for comparison the 2018 Bears had Tyler Gabriel, Allen Robinson, and Trey Burton as his WR 1&2 + TE combo and would be coached by Matt Nagy. Compare that to being coached by Andy Reid with the likes of Watkins, Tyreek Hill, and Travis Kelce and the skill positions nor coaching is comparable.
Would Montana have done as well had he not had stellar defense, played half of his career with the GOAT WR in Jerry Rice and was coached by the revolutionary HC Walsh? Probably Not.
The point being is that every QB plays in a system that emphasizes their good qualities, while minimizing the bad ones. Every QB benefits from the players around them and can only do so much with lack of talent. Brady at this moment should be considered the GOAT because the issues you raised for why he isn't still don't seem to determine who is the best. The most talented QB could be Marino, most athletic could be Vick or Lamar, Peyton Manning couldn't run yet he was considered a competitor of the GOAT convo at one point.

@@HbAz783V for clarity, I think Brady belongs in the conversation.
I just think that if you were given the option to start a team with all things being equal and pick the absolute Greatest Quarterback it wouldn't be Tom.
I think Mahomes, Manning, Marino, Elway, and Rodgers are all greater talents. To your point, it's a team game but we label Brady as the 'Greatest' because of his team's success not because we actually think he was a more talented or even better quarterback than other guys in the top 10.
Just my thoughts though, we all define 'Greatest' differently and that's part of what makes sports arguments interesting. They are subjective.

    • @HbAz783V
      @HbAz783V 6 месяцев назад +1

@@theunlikelysuccess But again the team success is what made Brady not the greatest in most peoples' eyes until he won his 5th superbowl and broke Montana's record even though Brady had already eclipsed most of Montana's statistics. Also, I feel you may be putting too much emphasis on the "Team" Brady had, but not placing the same emphasis on others. In addition, being calm under pressure, having the mental side of the game solidified are other keys that outside of Manning no one really talks about. I feel Brady would be better than Rodgers in that regard, similar to Marino and even Manning himself. But I do agree it is very subjective and will continue to be.

@@NotAnInsider That's the problem with all of this, psychology. Too many people respect *the **_appearance of_* success. Depending of course on whose success it is. Peyton Manning spoke openly about how anything he discussed with his players in the locker-room in Foxboro got planned for, indicating spy-gate continued forever. Tomlin talked about how their electronic communications would cut out there indicating they sabotaged other teams. Now let's reverse things for a moment. What if Peyton & Tomlin were caught cheating?
No one likes to admit this but Physical Attractiveness is a _HUGE factor_ in all of this. If Peyton had cheated, everyone would feel that his talent, the only thing He Had was a fraud & that would be The End of it. There would be no justification w=for what he did.
I'll leave it there. Unless someone wants to challenge me on this. If _Tomlin_ had been caught cheating against Bellichick & Brady on the other hand, wouldn't _that_ place NFL fans in a quandary. After accepting it _from_ those two, wtf could people _do?_

I love when people say unathletic about a record breaking athlete. I think the word youre looking for is muscle bound. Huge muscles often times have nothing to do with athletic ability or knowledge especially as a qb. People would also say linemen arent athletic either because they are so fat and overweight but thats obviously not true either. As an nfl linemen they are the most athletic linemen alive wherher they are pure muscle or a big ball of fat. Huge muscles dont make you athletic and alot of times are a detractor for alot of positions in sports, receivers are more successful when they are slim and non muscular rather then bulky and slower. Most linebackers on the other hand play much better when they are extremely muscular. Athleticism has absolutely nothing to do with muscle mass.

@ajp5556 The refs handled the football after every play, they couldn't tell the ball was underinflated. Brady played better in the 2nd half of that game with a properly inflated ball. That was a total BS story, and I'm not a Patriots fan.

see and that where the division starts some people are just going to defend tom brady to the death and say he not cheater when it doesn't matter to me cause some people are going to think he was no matter what and he not the only being caught/accused of cheating the chiefs could probably be accused of cheating like NE at some point cause when you major success someone will always say he won because he cheated and he can't be winning that much without cheating that in their minds whether true or not don't matter to people are just going to stick to what they want to believe without facts

If you can go out there in the midst of many many cheating allegations, and still perform amazingly- and even switch teams and still dominate, then that just proves that you just may be the greatest of all time.

@@NotAnInsider I don't think enough people look into what it takes to edit a video. Then in your genre of videos having to search the internet for clips that won't get you a copyright strike, doing your research, ensuring the validity of that information, writing a script, editing it and then recording it in as many takes as needed.
It's all those factors that people don't see. It's not as if your easily just doing a vlog style where you just add your into and piece together your cut/transitions and your done.
When I watch someone's videos for the first time I look at a few things. Am I fully engaged to the point that I can't skip the ads fast enough. Then I try and put myself in the creators shoes and factor in what it would have taken to make the video.
After your video I could clearly tell you put alot into the research, script and sourcing clips to give the visual references needing to fully tell the story.
The algorithm is tough. But ones things for sure. Anyone who has the slightest knowledge of what it takes to make quality and engaging videos, they should definitely be subbing.
Sometimes people just need to get over that first big huddle. So don't hesitate to ask people to shsre get your content to more people!
      Good luck moving forward!
