This is the first time I seen HS video of Allen and although his strength and mechanics might be more polished then before, it’s amazing to see the similarities… the wrist flick when he throws or extending the play to the sideline and throwing cross body. We love josh he's our franchise QB, but we also still love FItzy, he is welcome at any bills mafia tailgate as a legend. That said Allentown has more then one meaning since we got josh, and we got him when the league were doing the same thing to us... counting us out before the start of the season... cant ignore us anymore huh? I remember when jets fans could make fun of us and had a point... how far we have come. the fact he's a high risk high reward QB has gotten much better as his accuracy has improved and his use of his legs makes it generally a good move.

I vividly remember Allen's first game as a pro. Sean McDermott had made Nathan Peterman the starter going into the 2018 season and wanted Allen to observe and get the feel of the offense on the sidelines. But Peterman was absolutely awful in the first game against the Ravens in a downpour, so they had to put Allen in (a game the Bills got hammered 47-3). Allen would later injure his elbow in a game against the Texans and Peterman went in again and stunk again.

The real question: is Allen's _supporting cast_ good enough to win a Super Bowl? Kelly's teammates included running back Thurman Thomas (HoF), wide receivers Andre Reed (HoF), James Lofton (HoF) and Steve Tasker (also a special-teams great), centre Kent Hull, guard Jim Ritcher, linebackers Cornelius Bennett, Shane Conlan and Darryl Talley, and defensive end Bruce Smith (HoF). Since even they weren't able to win a Super Bowl, I think the answer to my question has to be: sadly, no. The Bills need to draft as well as they did in 1985, when they selected Smith and Reed.
