The dosing for canned pumpkin is:
1-4 tablet spoons for a large breed dog & 1-2 Teaspoons for a small breed dog. You can safely feed your dog's canned pumpkin every day!
Canned Pumpkin is mostly water, so too much pumkin (feeding them it twice a day) can also have the opposite affect and cause loose stool. So see how your pet responds and discuss it with your veterinarian.
👩⚕️ 🗣️Speaking of your Veterinarian. You also don’t want to self-treat your pets diarrhea for too long with canned pumpkin if its not getting better! Diarrhea can mean many things in dog's and if not treated within 2-4 days, your dog could be getting deathly ill from pancreatitis, or something worse.

This was a great informational video, just straight to the point and great do's and don't. I have seen so many videos or articles and they do not mention don't give pie filling, which I feel is really important.

I give my 15 year old collie, healer, chow mix pumpkin for his constipation. He has tumors in his abdomin, and he has trouble passing his stool. The pumpkin clears it right up. 1 teaspoon twice a day, and he loves it. He wont eat his food without it now.

I just got a new puppy that I want to feed the best diet to. He's a beautiful 12 week old American Bulldog x AmStaff. I keep reading about the raw vs cooked meat diet. Can I do a combo? If not what do you recommend for his age/breed?
I've read that pumpkin seeds plain wiil help get rid of worms.?
I skip pumpkin and go straight for Propectalin. It is so much faster and an exact dose. If that doesn't work, I know we need to call their Vet. Plus, my GSD won't eat it.
