  • Diesel, Electric and Steam variety at Carlisle station on 29th September 2018.
    A diverted LNER HST from London Kings Cross is seen leaving for Edinburgh.
    Class 86 No. 86259 arrives from London Euston with The Cumbrian Coast Express.
    86259 leaves the train and Jubilee Class 6P 4-6-0 No. 45699 Galatea joins at the other end for the return journey via the Cumbrian Coast.
    Galatea departs.
    Class 55 Deltic No. D9009 Alycidon and Class 68 No. 68004 arrive from Willington via Sunderland, Blyth & Tyne and Tyne Valley lines, with The Deltic Deviator charter.
    The locos departs for Kingmoor with the empty stock.
    The charter departs on the return Journey via The Settle & Carlisle line.
    ROG Class 37 No. 37800 passes through the station.
