    I can see Djokovic winning on Sunday, unless he physically breaks down. In terms of motivation he’s got everything to spur him on - revenge for the loss in last year’s final, a 25th slam putting him in the clear lead in both men’s and women’s, equalling Federer’s Wimbledon record and not only that but he’ll be hungry to win his first title this year and get back to winning ways.

    • @malekat8539
      @malekat8539 24 дня назад

      To defend Murray here. He had to play at least 1 of the big 3 at a slam in his career.
      The late 2000s were Nadal/Federer's time.
      2010-2011 were Nadal and Djokovic's arguably best season in their careers.
      2013-2015 were also arguably Nadal and Djokovic's best season in their career,
      And then Mirray had his magical bitter-sweet 2016 run,
      So that time period was virtually impossible for any player to (at the very least) consistently win slams like the big 3.

    Two more things to note:
    1. His US Open title came with a straight set victory against Djokovic who was playing for the grand slam and had 99.99% of the crowd cheering for Djokovic the entire match.
    2. While unsportsmanlike, he is author of perhaps the funniest on-court statement in tennis history (the “small cat” remark to the chair umpire at the Australian Open a few years ago).

If Serena hadn't broken any, she would just have received a warning for saying she'd like to shove a ball down the poor likeswoman's throat or whatever that was when she couldn't beat Clijsters in the US Open semis. She was never defaulted. She was just given a point penalty, which was the result of two warnings (one for breaking a racquet), on match point down, so Clijsters deservedly won 6-4 7-5. Danil is one of the greatest! And Novak understands what MOTIVATES HIM! There are 2 types of people: Those who accomplish by going TOWARDS something…… and those who accomplish by pushing AGAINST something…. Novak needs something to push against! and HE KNOWS THIS!

    Andy and Daniil gave some of the best interviews over the years. When is Andy gonna invite him over to talk?
    Funny how Andy responded to that guy, and his early reaction on people thought they were able to win a game against a pro. Normally it would be a waste of time to respond to such stupidity. But it is very funny when Andy calls it out.

      It’s wild that Djokovic hardest match at Wimbledon was to a college kid who didn’t play consistently at number one position in his own university this year and he also didn’t make a deep run at the ncaa single individual tournament. Definitely one of the top college tennis players this past year but to almost push Djokovic to 5 sets is shocking.
